The two who love each other open their hearts after the kiss in When The Phone Rings Episode 8. Sa-Eon returns home. He cooks fried rice for Hee-Joo. They review the past three years marriage. Sa-Eon feels guilty. He thinks the cold house was a prison to Hee-Joo.
But Hee-Joo thinks it wasn’t a prison. She feels regret that she and Sa-Eon didn’t have any communication as a couple. They didn’t sleep together as well. He teases her that she wants to sleep with him. He notes that she’s not easy.
He’s careful to wipe the rice off her mouth. He mentions what he told her that they don’t need any feelings. He explains it to her that he said so because he worried that he would be sinking in her arms. He reveals he’s doing something.
They talk about the kidnapper. Sa-Eon thinks the guy has an accomplice and the accomplice knows them. He suggests Hee-Joo doesn’t speak outside. Sa-Eon doesn’t expect that he has seen the kidnapper. The kidnapper disguised to be a flower delivery person. He came to the building of presidential office.
He took the same elevator with Sa-Eon. He witnessed Sa-Eon being respected. He was insane because of jealousy. He returned home and he sent a message to his accomplice. He told him that he wants to get all of Sa-Eon.
Sa-Eon teases Hee-Joo that she was hot when she played 406. He asks her about the location of the pajamas. He tries to go to look for the pajamas. But she hugs him from his back for stopping him. He reaches his goal and he puts her hands on his waist. He enjoys the tenderness.
Hee-Joo has a nightmare that night. She dreams that she cannot reach Sa-Eon. She wakes up and she sheds tears. She goes to her husband’s room. She sees him falling asleep in the bed. She feels relieved. She tries to touch his eyebrow.
But he wakes up. She’s startled and she tries to flee. But he takes her hand and he drags her to the bed. He hugs her and he decides to take a day off. So they can spend the day together. He asks her if she has something she wants to do.
She wishes her and Sa-Eon to go on a date like ordinary couple. She fantasized that they have picnic together and they take a walk when they holds hands. Sa-Eon hugs Hee-Joo tightly. He promises to fulfill all of her wishes. Young-Woo calls Sa-Eon. He asks him to return to the office.
Sa-Eon mistakes that something bad happened. He goes to the office. But he finds out that Young-Woo united with other colleagues to make support signs for him. They cheer him up and they wish him to get through the difficult situation.
Sa-Eon glares at Young-Woo. He wants to kill the guy. He looks around and he finds out that Do-Jae isn’t in the office. Do-Jae shows up. He reports it to Sa-Eon that he has tracked down the location of the kidnapper. Sa-Eon asks Do-Jae not to inform the police. Because he wants to go to check on his own. Do-Jae tells Sa-Eon to be careful.
Sa-Eon goes to the abandoned villa. He walks into the villa. The TV plays a video. It tells Sa-Eon that he killed the people. Meanwhile, Hee-Joo receives a message which was sent by the kidnapper. The guy thinks she knows nothing about Sa-Eon. She sees the video Sa-Eon saw.
She tries to contact her husband. But she hesitates and she calls Sang-Woo. She wants to know the orphan missing case he’s looking into. Sang-Woo lived in the orphanage when he was a kid. He found a villa. The villa became his paradise. He found a cat from the paradise.
He remembers there was a boy who wore a mask in the house. The boy took out a knife and he invited Sang-Woo to dissect the cat with him. Sang-Woo was scared to run away from the villa. He was adopted soon. But something weird happened to the orphanage. Some orphans went missing.
Sang-Woo remembers he took other kids to the villa to have fun ever. He thinks the missing is related to the villa. He takes Hee-Joo to the abandoned villa. The two don’t get into the villa because it’s evening. Sa-Eon walks out of the villa. He sees the two in the car.
The car is started. Sa-Eon fails to stop Hee-Joo. He calls her. She doesn’t want to expose that she can speak in front of Sang-Woo. She chooses not to pick up the phone. But Sang-Woo tells Hee-Joo not to pretend. He reveals he knew that she can speak early. She’s shocked.
Sa-Eon drives his car to reach Sang-Woo’s car. He forces Sang-Woo to stop his car. Sang-Woo locks his car door. He refuses to let Hee-Joo get off his car. She opens the car door with her power. She stands by Sa-Eon’s side. He lets her get in his car.
Sang-Woo suspects that Sa-Eon is related to the children missing case. He blames him and he thinks he’s not qualified to take away Hee-Joo. Sa-Eon talks back that Hee-Joo has never had any peace since Sang-Woo appeared. He suspects Sang-Woo is related to the bomb threat case.
Sa-Eon takes Hee-Joo away. He questions her why she went to the villa. She takes out the footage she received. He stops the car on the side of the road. He’s sad because she didn’t contact him. He wants to know if he’s scary in her heart.
She explains it to him that she contacted him with the identity of 406. So she knows the feelings of concealing a secret. She worries that he will run away if she asks him the question. She doesn’t wish their happiness is just a short sweet dream.
He feels sorry and he hugs her. She wishes him to tell her the secret he conceals. She wants to face it with him. He still doesn’t speak out the secret even if she does so. He tells her that he cannot give up the part he loves her deeply.
Meanwhile, In-A visits her father Il-Kyeong with Sa-Eon’s paternity report. She questions him if he put the paper in her room before the wedding. She remembers she handed over the report to him. He wasn’t surprised when he saw that Sa-Eon and Ui-Yong aren’t paternity.
She realizes that he knew the secret early but he chose to conceal it. He remembers Sa-Eon’s parents went against it when he told the two that Hee-Joo is going to replace In-A to marry Sa-Eon. Il-Kyeong took out the agreement Sa-Eon’s grandfather Jang-Ho signed. He revealed Jang-Ho promised him anything when Jang-Ho got on knees to him. Sa-Eon’s parents had to accept Hee-Joo.
In-A thinks Il-Kyeong knows some secrets that cannot tell others. She mentions her father tried to use all of his powers to look into the mastermind who’s related to the car accident. But he stopped it suddenly. She asks him why he did that.
Il-Kyeong remembers the rainy night. He took his gun and he tried to kill the person who got on knees to him. He tells In-A that it’s the past. He reminds her that she needs to be careful because the kidnapper knows her and Hee-Joo’s relationship.
Hee-Joo takes same elevator with Sa-Eon after the lunch. He uses sign language to communicate with her. He tells her that he will come home early after he’s off duty. He feels sweet after she got off the elevator. He returns to his office.
Young-Woo hands over a note to Sa-Eon. He reports to his boss that the guy from the store called him and he told him that the person is alive. Sa-Eon drives the car to the destination. He remembers he lived with the store owner Sang-Hoon. They were happy even if they were poor.
He witnessed a boy who was pressed into the water. He tried to call for help. But Sang-Hoon covered his eyes. He was taken away then.

Sa-Eon goes to the store he lived ever. He sees the smoke from the store. He breaks into the house and he finds Sang-Hoon. He carries him out of the house. But the house explodes. They fall to the ground and they pass out.
Meanwhile, In-A visits Hee-Joo. She takes out the paternity report. She tells Hee-Joo that she knows nothing about her husband. But Hee-Joo is calm. In-A mistakes that Hee-Joo knew the secret early. It’s not true. Hee-Joo found a secret when she checked the outdoor activity photos. Sa-Eon looked at her with love no matter what she did. She was in tears and she sensed the love of the man. Hee-Joo doesn’t care for Sa-Eon’s true identity. He only has one identity at her place. He’s her lover.
