Sa-Eon dreams of a big hand holding him in the water. He cannot breathe in When The Phone Rings Episode 6. He wakes up from the nightmare. He finds out that Hee-Joo is sleeping in his arms. He’s shocked and he looks at his wife carefully. She opens her eyes at that time.
Sa-Eon and Hee-Joo realize that they’re too intimate. They push away each other because of shyness. Sa-Eon goes to wash his face for calming himself down. He tries his best to remember how did he sleep with Hee-Joo. But he only remembers Hee-Joo took him home. He forgets the rest plots.
He asks her what happened last night. She wonders if she needs to confess all. He tries to answer her. But his phone is ringing. He takes the phone to his room. Do-Jae asks Sa-Eon if he suspects someone because he has sent the result to him.
Sa-Eon checks the message. He learns that his wife is 406. He goes to his office. Do-Jae sorts out all of the calls. He thinks Hee-Joo wasn’t the one putting the bomb in front of the office even if she called Sa-Eon. Sa-Eon knows Hee-Joo isn’t the accomplice.
He gets angry when he remembers Hee-Joo asked him to divorce her. He thought he knows everything about his wife. He was stubborn and he refused to believe that 406 is Hee-Joo. He wished the woman not to actually want to leave him. He remembers all of her calls. Her grievances and her accusations. She tried her best to flee.
Hee-Joo comes to teach Sa-Eon sign language. He asks her to teach him how to speak: “I forgive your sins”. She doesn’t know the truth. So she teaches him. But he cannot control his anger of being cheated. He leaves the meeting room.
Hee-Joo gets a call from her older sister In-A who’s waiting for her at the aquarium. She goes to the aquarium to see In-A. In-A got her hearing back after a surgery. She wishes Hee-Joo not to pretend she cannot speak. Hee-Joo realizes that In-A has known that she can speak.
In-A apologizes to Hee-Joo for what she did to her. She wished Hee-Joo to be misfortune like her because she was deaf. She lets it go now. Hee-Joo can speak. Hee-Joo gets angry because she doesn’t need In-A to allow her to speak. She thinks she can make the decision.
Hee-Joo leaves the aquarium. She gets a message from In-A. In-A tells Hee-Joo that she didn’t ask her to replace her to the the bride before the wedding. She adds that Sa-Eon was the one who made the proposal. Because Sa-Eon needed the connection of two families. He treated Hee-Joo as his hostage.
Sa-Eon is alone at home. He’s looking for the special phone. Hee-Joo returns home. She sees the light in her bedroom. She rushes into her room and she stops Sa-Eon. He tells a lie to her that his phone is missing. His phone is ringing outside.
The lie is exposed. Sa-Eon sees the lace. He pulls it out. Sa-Eon and Hee-Joo are close. The kissing scene floods into their minds. Sa-Eon’s heart pounds. He’s flustered to push away his wife. He runs out of her room. He gets a call from 406.
The call is like cat and mouse game to him. He pretends not to know the identity of 406. He wishes to ask the questions in his mind. Hee-Joo doesn’t know she’s been exposed. She has questions as well. She asks Sa-Eon if he treated her as hostage as the price of her sister’s freedom.
He answers her that he had nightmares when he was a kid. He was calm when he looked at her practicing sign language. He knew she had nobody to rely on in the family. He wished to help her flee from the family and start a new family with her. But he drew her into another cold family.
He thought it’s not the marriage she wishes to get. So he tied her up with him when he used hostage as an excuse. But he thought about sending her away so that she can live the life she wants to live. He pretended to be cold and he didn’t give any feelings.
He realizes that what Hee-Joo wants is his true heart and his caring. He tells Hee-Joo that he can give anything she wants to get to her. He asks her to let 406 disappear if he can improve their relationship. She still thinks everything is under her control.
She claims that she wants to see how he will do. She doesn’t know she’s a little white rabbit who’s going to fall into the big bad wolf’s hand.
President’s Office organizes an outdoor activity. Sa-Eon wants to order love lunchbox for Hee-Joo. But he worries that their relationship will be exposed. So he orders the love lunchbox for every employee. Hee-Joo gets on the bus. But the guy Won-Bin sits with her.
Sa-Eon forces Won-Bin to switch the seats with him. He throws away Won-Bin’s coffee which Won-Bin gave to Hee-Joo. He replaces the coffee with the love juice he prepared. Hee-Joo falls asleep. She leans her head on Sa-Eon’s shoulder.
He tries to pull the curtain for blocking the sunshine. But he worries that he will wake her up. He chooses to block the sunshine with his hand. He hears Young-Woo having a video chat with his wife, showing their love. Sa-Eon is jealous to ask Young-Woo how to express his love to his wife. Young-Woo tells Sa-Eon to practice more.
The people arrive at the destination. They hold a sports competition. Sa-Eon drives away the people who want to team up with Hee-Joo. He teams up with Hee-Joo then. He tries to show his skills in front of her. But he’s a jump rope rookie. He disrupts the game.
Hee-Joo asks Sa-Eon to follow her steps. He doesn’t make any mistake after she guided him. He sees her bright smiling the fist time. He wishes her to be happy each day. The second game is the three-legged race. The couple works well together. They’re the first to reach the finishing line.
Sa-Eon is excited to hug Hee-Joo and spin. The employees are shocked after they witnessed it. They learn that the boss and the female employee have a love. They don’t know how to explain it to the madam who they hasn’t seen. The winner gets the prize.
The prize Sa-Eon wants to get is to take a group photo with Hee-Joo. Sa-Eon and Hee-Joo are in an intimate pose after Young-Woo taught Sa-Eon. The sports competition ends. The people go hiking. Sa-Eon worries that Hee-Joo will catch cold because she just sweated.
He puts his coat on her waist. He helps her and they reach the mountain top. The people are going to take a group photo. Sa-Eon worries that Hee-Joo will fall off the cliff. He drags her to his side. But a group of madams recognize Sa-Eon. They rush to him and they take photos with him.
Hee-Joo falls off the cliff. Sa-Eon is anxious to summon the rescue team and the drones. Hee-Joo wakes up from a coma. She remembers someone pushed her off the cliff. She finds out that her phone is off. So she has to use the special phone.
But the phone can only call Sa-Eon. Her identity will be exposed if she uses the phone to call Sa-Eon. She has to call him when the night comes. He’s her last lifesaver. But she doesn’t wish him to pick up the phone. She doesn’t know he has waited for her phone with the identity of 406.

He’s excited after he got a call from 406. He calls Hee-Joo’s name because he worries about her. He’s calm and he realizes that she doesn’t wish her identity to be exposed. So he pretends to ask 406 if he stays with Hee-Joo. Hee-Joo is very happy after she heard what Sa-Eon said.
Hee-Joo is relieved to ask for help. Sa-Eon comforts her that he put the emergency items into her bag. He teaches her to light the flare so that she can send out a distress signal. She pulls the flare. He sees the light and he runs to the light. He prays her not to hang up. He asks 406 to tell Hee-Joo not to worry about it. Because he’s going to come to her place. He doesn’t know she asked him about his true heart when he was drunk.
