The man who has gotten married for three years. He walks into his wife’s bedroom for the first time in When The Phone Rings: Episode 3. He wants to lift his wife’s skirt for checking her leg. But he encounters the resistance of his wife. She refuses to cooperate with him no matter what he says.
The man in black puts a box of stuff which is like pizza in front of the office. The follower of Sa-Eon mistakes it for the takeaway the colleague ordered. He takes it into the office and he opens it. But it’s a bomb inside the box. It explodes.
Sa-Eon wakes up from a coma. He doesn’t care for his injury and he confirms the message the guard sent to him. He learns that Hee-Joo has gone home. Secret phone and secret bomb. Sa-Eon has been always passive. His only clue is Hee-Joo’s leg photo the kidnapper sent to him.
He suspects that the kidnapper’s threats and intimidation are related to Hee-Joo. He returns home and he tries to check if there’s a mole on Hee-Joo’s leg. But Hee-Joo grabs her skirt. She stops Sa-Eon. He carries her into the bedroom and he throws her to the bed. He approaches her and he questions her why the guy knew her so well.
He tries to life her skirt. It makes the thing complicated. Hee-Joo panics to ask him what he wants to confirm. She mentions she was kidnapped by the mystery man and he was hurt by the mystery man as well. She thinks they’re victims. She asks him why he suspects her instead of going to catch the mystery man.
He gets a call from Do-Jae. He apologizes to her and he leaves her room. Hee-Joo avoids the disaster. Do-Jae mentions what the cop told him that it was a serial fire case. But Sa-Eon doesn’t believe the coincidence. He guesses the person planned to use the serial fire case to cover the truth.
He asks Do-Jae to look into the case. He orders him not to leak the complete recording of threats. Because the news was clipped by him. Sa-Eon comes out. He sees Hee-Joo cleaning the broken glass. He crouches down and he cleans the pieces.
He blames her for not protecting her hands. He worries that her hands would be hurt. He returns to his office and he opens her phone. He checks the conversation of her and Sang-Woo. He sees the group photo Sang-Woo sent. He looks at Hee-Joo’s smiling. It was his fist time to see his wife smiled. It makes him jealous so that he pays attention to Sang-Woo.
He notes that the two appointed to have dinner on the weekend. It makes him unhappy. Sang-Woo is asked to introduce himself by his colleague. He reveals he has grown up from an orphanage. He adds that there was a rich man’s villa in the village. One day he broke into the villa by mistake. He ran into the young master who came to the villa to have fun.
They had fun together each day. They were very happy. But he saw a terrible thing. The memory stops. Sang-Woo refuses to continue to leak. He stands up and he goes to have dinner with Hee-Joo. Hee-Joo and Sang-Woo have a seat at the restaurant. They run into You-Ri.
You-Ri claims that she appointed her idol. She asks the two not to stare at her idol. You-Ri’s idol walks into the restaurant soon. The one is Sa-Eon who has plotted for a long time. Hee-Joo prays Sa-Eon not to see her. But he walks to her and he calls her interpreter.
He tells a lie that he worked with Hee-Joo before. He asks to share a table. Sang-Woo takes care of Hee-Joo. He uses sign language to talk with her. Sa-Eon is jealous to ask Sang-Woo about his background. The two are going to have a fight.
Hee-Joo cannot endure it. She makes an excuse to go to restroom fleeing from the stifling environment. Sa-Eon makes an excuse to call someone as well. He stops Hee-Joo at the door. She blames him for being rule to her senior. But he thinks she’s taking Sang-Woo’s side.
He questions her why she’s sure that Sang-Woo is a good person. He feels wronged and he thinks he doesn’t know her. He adds that she doesn’t know him as well. He asks Sang-Woo for his business card before he leave.
Sa-Eon returns to his office. He hands over Sang-Woo’s business card to Do-Jae. He asks him to look into the guy. Do-Jae finds the live streaming videos of Sang-Woo. He tells Sa-Eon that the guy has a great body. He adds that the guy was welcomed by women.
Sa-Eon disdains to close the table. He complains it to Do-Jae that only superficial people would care for appearance. Hee-Joo goes to sign language center. The teacher Jin-Yi asks Hee-Joo to fill out the application form for the sign language interpreter.
Hee-Joo hesitates because she doesn’t want to be close to Sa-Eon. But what the teacher said is right that her work experience in presidential office will help her get a good job. She needs a good job since she wants to get a divorce.
Hee-Joo decides to think about it. But her car is controlled by someone else when she tries to drive home. She’s scared. But the car gets back to the normal soon. She suspects the Mysterious Man is nearby her. She returns home and opens the special phone.
She hears the footsteps of Sa-Eon. She’s fast to conceal the phone. She runs out of her room and she deals with Sa-Eon. He asks her where she’s going to go. She tells a lie to him that she wants to go to the convenience store to buy ice cream and beer. He asks her to stay at home. He goes out to do the job for her.
She sees him walking outside. She takes out the special phone to call him. She asks him to get a divorce with her. The two has a negotiation at the table. Sa-Eon claims that he won’t let Hee-Joo leave. She’s shocked and she doesn’t know what he’s thinking.
He returns home and he’s in anger because of the phone. He tells Hee-Joo that he won’t divorce her. She mistakes that he saw her trick. She chocks on her beer after she was startled. He asks her to walk in the presidential office.
She reminds him that everyone will know her looks and her name if she goes to presidential office. She adds that she knows him very well and she knows his every expression. He approaches her like a big bad wolf. He lets her guess what he’s thinking.
He gets angry because the Mysterious Man told him that he doesn’t know his wife after he has married his wife for three years. He thinks it’s the truth. He wants to change it. He lies in her bed and he provokes her. He makes her sleep with him.
He disallows her to turn her back on him. He opens his eyes and he stares at her after she fell asleep. He puts the cover on her. He leaves. The next day. Hee-Joo wakes up from the nightmare. She remembers her mother took her to remarried. She survived from an accident.
But her mother wasn’t happy at all. She covered her mouth and she disallowed her to cry. She ordered her to pretend to lose her voice after she suffered a major blow.
Hee-Joo receives a video which the Mysterious Man sent through her father’s phone. The person knows the special phone is in her hand. He questions her why she took his phone. Her father is kidnapped. She has to tell the truth. She says that she wants to get a divorce.
Mysterious Man is satisfied with the answer. He thinks they have same goal. He agrees to let her use his phone. He shows her a few teeth. It scares her. She rushes into the hospital. She finds out that her father is fine. The teeth don’t belong to her father as well.

But her father mentions Mysterious Man told her to call Sa-Eon. Hee-Joo is on the way to the police station. But the police car makes a noise suddenly. It’s like the night Hee-Joo was kidnapped. Hee-Joo remembers the teeth. She gets off the police car to vomit.

She remembers nobody cared for her. She feels sad because nobody takes her side. She doesn’t know if she needs to continue to live. She sees Sa-Eon getting off the car. He walks to her. He asks the police to leave. He claims that Hee-Joo is his wife.
