What Happens In Twinkling Watermelon Episode 2?

Soo-Tak thinks Eun Gyeol is an attention-seeker. Jong-Hyeong believes that Eun Gyeol doesn’t have talent because he acted cool. He tells his team members to leave with him. But he stops when Twinkling Watermelon lets him hear Eun Gyeol’s music.
Jong-Hyeong thinks he found a diamond after he watched Eun Gyeol’s show. He smiles to stop him when he is going to leave. He tells him that he’s going to give him to chance to join his group. He thinks he shouldn’t turn him down. But Eun Gyeol rejects it. He bows to Jong-Hyeong.
Eun Gyeol tries to leave. Jong-Hyeong stops Eun Gyeol. He tells him to think about his offer. He reminds him that they’re Coldplay of Hongdae. Twinkling Watermelon gives the CD to Eun Gyeol. He tells him that he can join SPINE9 if he passes the audition.
Eun Gyeol returns home. He puts the CD in the locker. But Twinkling Watermelon lets him take the CD. Eun Gyeol bikes and he chases the train. He wonders if he needs to give up music. Soo-Tak has a fight with Jong-Hyeong. He thinks Eun Gyeol isn’t handsome because he wore a mask.
Eun Gyeol runs to show up. He asks the group if the offer is still on the table. Soo-Tak gives the cash to Jong-Hyeong because he lost. Lee Chan tells Ma-Joo that he’s going to be Se-Kyung’s boyfriend. Ma-Joo thinks Lee Chan isn’t serious. But Lee Chan tells Ma-Joo that Se-Kyung is his angel.
Lee Chan asks Ma-Joo to look into Se-Kyung for him. But Ma-Joo tells Lee Chan to give up. He reminds him that there were many boys liking Se-Kyung. He adds that the girl’s family is very rich. Se-Kyung returns home. She sees the note her mother left to her. Her mother asks her to wear the pink dress. But Se-Kyung is interested in the black one.
Ma-Joo tells Lee Chan that Se-Kyung has a boyfriend. He leaks that Se-Kyung and her boyfriend’s families had a meeting. He thinks the two were engaged. But Lee Chan wishes to get married with Se-Kyung. Ma-Joo is furious to let Lee Chan take a look at Se-Kyung’s boyfriend. He thinks the guy is handsome and rich.
Ma-Joo reveals Se-Kyung’s boyfriend went to a med school. He thinks Lee Chan cannot defeat a doctor. Se-Kyung’s boyfriend takes a look at Ma-Joo and Lee Chan. They’re startled to avoid him. Ma-Joo tells Lee Chan to give up Se-Kyung because he thinks he’s just a peasant to the beauty.
Ma-Joo finds out that Lee Chan climbed over the wall. Se-Kyung wears the pink dress to play the cello. The guests applaud. She’s polite to pay her respect to the guests. The girl recognizes Lee Chan. She wonders how did he got into the house.
Lee Chan tells a lie to the girl that he got invited. He tries to flee after he failed to tell her who invited her. But she pulls him and thinks she didn’t invite him. She thinks he’s a thief. But Se-Kyung tells the girl that she invited Lee Chan.
Se-Kyung explains to the girl that she did it for paying for the ice cream. Lee Chan follows Se-Kyung. He thanks her for helping him. He didn’t expect that she remembered him. But she thinks he’s a stalker. She tells him not to waste his time on her. She tries to leave.
Lee Chan takes Se-Kyung’s hand. He tells her that he’s not a stalker. He wants to be her friend. She reminds him that she played cello for the professors for getting the connections. But he thinks she needs to take a break. She reminds him that his fly is open. He’s embarrassed to run away.
Eun Gyeol performs with his group. Ma-Joo asks his follower about Dong-Jin’s whereabouts. Dong-Jin gets interviewed by the beauty. He leaks that his band disbanded because one of the members caused trouble. The follower shows the performance to Ma-Joo. He thinks Eun Gyeol is talented.
Eun Gyeol walks out of the bar with Jong-Hyeong. But they’re surrounded by the fans. They have to return to the bar. Eun Gyeol complains to his team members that he couldn’t breathe when he wore the mask. Ji-O thinks the fans would be excited if Eun Gyeol took off his mask.
Club Spark boss brings the news to the team members that they were chosen by Ma-Joo. He reveals Ma-Joo will come to watch their show. Eun Gyeol wonders who is Ma-Joo. Jong-Hyeong reveals Ma-Joo helped Dong-Jin be the top singer. He thinks they can join Dong-Jin if Ma-Joo chose them.
Eun Gyeol is excited after he found out that it’s a good chance. He drinks with his team members. But he gets a message from his father who told him that he got into an accident. Eun Gyeol’s father asks Eun Gyeol to come to the police station.
Why Eun Gyeol Leaves SPINE9’s Group?
The madam is at the police station. She tells the cop that she was the one who drove the car. But Eun Gyeol’s father tells the cop that the driver was someone else. Eun Gyeol shows up. His father tells him that he’s fine because he avoided the hit.

Eun Gyeol asks the cop what happened. The cop leaks that the madam crashed into his father’s warehouse. But he doesn’t know who is the hit-and-run driver because the CCTV is broken. He mentions his father thought the madam wasn’t the driver. He asks him to ask his father about it.
Eun Gyeol tells the cop that the driver was the madam’s son. The madam yells at the cop when she denies it. The cop walks out of the police station with Eun Gyeol. He thanks him for helping him. He tells him to study for his father’s sake.
Eun Gyeol’s father tells the madam Byung-Ho’s mom that she hasn’t changed just like six years ago. He thinks she made his son be like that. But she thinks her son did nothing wrong. Eun Gyeol’s father drinks at home. Eun Gyeol joins his father. He thinks he should forgive Byung-Ho because Byung-Ho’s mother promised to compensate.
But Eun Gyeol’s father tells Eun Gyeol that he doesn’t want to be quiet like six years ago. Soo-Tak gets angry after knowing Eun Gyeol is going to leave their group. Ji-O explains to Soo-Tak that Eun Gyeol did it for personal reasons.
Soo-Tak asks Eun Gyeol about his personal reasons. Eun Gyeol tells Soo-Tak that he did it for his family. Soo-Tak is furious to punch Eun Gyeol when Eun Gyeol thinks Soo-Tak cannot perform without him. Jong-Hyeong and Ji-O stop Soo-Tak. Soo-Tak tells the two that he didn’t like Eun Gyeol. He thinks Eun Gyeol used them.
Jong-Hyeong tries to hit Soo-Tak when Soo-Tak yells at Eun Gyeol. Ji-O stops Jong-Hyeong. Eun Gyeol leaks that his brother almost got killed because he liked music. He thought his family forget it. But he found out that he was wrong.
Eun Gyeol thinks it has been a deep scar. He thanks his team members for their help. He leaves the club. Jong-Hyeong stops Eun Gyeol. He tells him that he will wait for him even if he thinks they can do the show without him. Eun Gyeol returns to the school. His mother is waiting for him.
Eun Gyeol’s mother is happy to run to Eun Gyeol. But she finds out that he was hurt. She takes out the report card. She reveals she came to his school because his homeroom teacher called her. She mentions his grades dropped. He’s surprised that she went to his study room.
But Eun Gyeol’s mother tells Eun Gyeol that she came to his study room many times. She reveals he wasn’t at his desk when she brought the snacks to him. She tells him that she’s waiting for him to tell her about the scar on his face.

Eun Gyeol’s mother reminds Eun Gyeol that he’s the pride of his father. She asks him if he will come back to be the used Eun Gyeol. Eun Gyeol walks away. He bikes to the building. It flashes back. Grandpa Viva walks out of his music store. He hangs the guitar on the snow man. He returns to his store. Eun Gyeol runs to the music store. He puts the piece on the snowman.
Eun Gyeol wipes off his tears when Se-Kyung walks out of her house. She drops the beer bottles. She mistakes that he likes her daughter. He denies it and mentions there was a music store. He leaks that he was close to the owner of the music store.
Eun Gyeol tries to leave. But Se-Kyung recognizes him. He’s surprised that she knew him. She laughs and remembers he cried in front of her father’s music store. She tells him to come in her house because she wants to give something to him.
Eun Gyeol takes a look at the girl’s photo that she holds a cello. Se-Kyung shows up with a suitcase. She tells him that the girl is her daughter. She reveals she’s Grandpa Viva’s daughter. She asks him to open the suitcase because her father left the present to him.
Eun Gyeol opens the suitcase. He sees the guitar. He remembers what Grandpa Viva told him that he will give the guitar to him when he’s good enough. He tears up. Se-Kyung tells Eun Gyeol that he’s very cool in her father’s mind. She mentions what her father told her that he’s the most talented guitarist.
Episode 2 of Twinkling Watermelon ends with Master giving the transaction slip to Eun Gyeol. He tells him that he will be in a tight spot if he loses it. Eun Gyeol walks out of Master’s store. Someone bumps him and leaves the newspapers. Eun Gyeol reads the newspaper. He finds out that he’s in 1995. Lee Chan calls Eun Gyeol as Dong-Jin. Eun Gyeol finds out that Lee Chan is his father. He’s surprised that his father can talk.
