Tantai Jin Manipulates Ye Xiwu to Stab Xiao Lin

Ye Xiwu tells Tantai Jin to open his mouth when she tries to feed him. But she passes out when he opens his mouth. The follower mentions Xiao Lin’s order that they go to the south if he doesn’t come back. But Pang Yizhi intends to disobey the order. Ye Xiwu and Xiao Lin ride to the field. Xiao Lin asks Ye Xiwu if she feels uncomfortable. She’s surprised to see him. She asks her if they escaped. He admits it and plans to look for a place to let her take a break.
Nian Baiyu reports to Tantai Jin that the stuff in the porridge is a kind of poison Peacock Gall. Tantai Jin takes a look at Ye Xiwu who falls sleep in the bed. He walks to her and asks her if she wants to take his life. He strokes her hair.

Tantai Jin mentions what Ye Xiwu said that she wishes to accompany him. He asks her why she did it to him. He asks Nian Baiyu for Weakness Water. He uses the water to manipulate Ye Xiwu. He wakes her up and tells her to do what she wants to do.
Ye Xiwu looks for something. Tantai Jin takes out Tiger Talisman. He asks her if she’s look for Tiger Talisman. She tries to rob Tiger Talisman. He asks her what she wants to do to use Tiger Talisman. She confesses to him that she wants to save Xiao Lin.
Ye Xiwu admits to Tantai Jin that she poisoned him. He asks her if she did it for Xiao Lin. She admits it. He’s furious to ask her if she has feelings for Xiao Lin. He asks her if she wishes him to die for Xiao Lin. He hugs her and gives Tiger Talisman to her.
Ye Xiwu leaves. Tantai Jin tells Nian Baiyu to follow Ye Xiwu. Ye Xiwu saves Xiao Lin from the jail. Tantai Jin holds the puppet. He mentions what Ye Xiwu said that she won’t leave him. He tells her that she doesn’t have a chance to regret.
Ye Xiwu asks Xiao Lin how did they escape. He puts his hand on her forehead. He finds out that she has a fever. He mentions she drugged Tantai Jin and stole Tiger Talisman. He thinks what she did were too smooth. He wonders what Tantai Jin wants to do.
Xiao Lin thanks Ye Xiwu for saving his life. She tells him to leave because she thinks Tantai Jin is going to wake up. He invites her to leave with him because he thinks Tantai Jin won’t forgive her. But she wants to return to Tantai Jin because she doesn’t complete her task.
Ye Xiwu agrees to what Xiao Lin said that Tantai Jin will get angry if she goes back at this time. She asks him where they’re going to go. He tells her that it’s the south. Tantai Jin learns that Ye Xiwu plans to leave Jing Kingdom. He tells her that she cannot escape all her life. The follower reports to Tantai Jin that something bad happened to Ye family.
The doctor tells Ye Xiao that he cannot save Old Madam Ye. Because she took Peacock Gall. Tantai Jin arrives at Ye family. Ye Bingchang is surprised that Tantai Jin isn’t dead. Old Madam Ye holds out her hand when she sees Tantai Jin. He grabs her hand.
Tantai Jin comforts Old Madam Ye that he will take care of Ye Xiwu. He swears not to let Ye Xiwu wronged. She passes away. Ye Zeyu cries when he calls his grandma. Tantai Jin tells Ye Bingchang to stay in Ye family. He tries to leave.
Ye Qingyu stops Tantai Jin. He mentions Ye Bingchang told him that the porridge was cooked by Ye Xiwu. Ye Bingchang doesn’t believe that Ye Xiwu would poison her grandma. She thinks Old Madam Ye drank the poison porridge by mistake.
Ye Bingchang intends to look into the person Ye Xiwu was original to poison. Tantai Jin leaks that he was the person. He smiles to leave Ye family. Xiao Lin arrives at the place with Ye Xiwu. Ye Xiwu finds out that there’s nobody in the field.
Xiao Lin mentions he has been late for four days. He thinks his followers left. He summons his followers. Pang Yizhi runs to Xiao Lin. He gives him a hug. He tells him that he believed that he would come back. Xiao Lin feels sorry for letting the people wait for him for four days.
Pang Yizhi sees Ye Xiwu. He thinks Xiao Lin kidnapped Ye Xiwu. He believes that Tantai Jin will get angry. Xiao Lin tells Pang Yizhi that he escaped because of Ye Xiwu. He notes that Ye Xiwu is uncomfortable. He’s close to her. But she stabs him.
Tantai Jin tells Ye Xiwu to come back. He thinks she has no place to go except his side. Xiao Lin’s bodyguards point their swords at Ye Xiwu. Pang Yizhi asks Ye Xiwu why she did it to Xiao Lin. He asks her if she hurt Xiao Lin for Tantai Jin.
Tantai Jin holds the doll. He tells Ye Xiwu that he will keep her even if she won’t forgive him all her life. Nian Baiyu wonders why he took action until Xiao Lin and Ye Xiwu gathered with Xiao Lin’s followers. Tantai Jin thinks Ye Xiwu can only be no place to go when she betrays Xiao Lin in front of people.
He knows Xiao Lin will hate her. But she won’t be hurt by anymore because the enchantment of puppet art will protect her. She has to return to Tantai Jin’s side. Because only he can protect her. He asks Nian Baiyu to go to catch Ye Xiwu and Xiao Lin. But he tells him not to hurt the two’s lives.
Ye Xiwu is caught. But Xiao Lin asks his followers to release Ye Xiwu. Ye Xiwu cries to knee to Xiao Lin. She tells him that she didn’t intend to do so. He comforts her that he won’t die. He lets Pang Yizhi help him stand up. He tells his men not to spread it.
The doctor leaves the room after he gave Xiao Lin treatment. Pang Yizhi shows up. He reveals he stopped Ye Xiwu when she intended to take care of Xiao Lin. He reveals the stuff is called soul eater. He tells Xiao Lin to lie in the bed so that he will find a way. But Xiao Lin rejects it. He reminds Pang Yizhi that Tantai Jin only used puppet art to make him not move.
Ye Xiwu is in her room. She worries about Xiao Lin. He walks into her room. She notes that he got changed. He reveals Dragon Guards will send her away. She realizes that there will be a battle. She asks him to let her stay there because she thinks it was her mistake.
She learns that he concealed something from her. He reveals her grandma passed away. But she doesn’t believe it because her grandma was fine when she left. He calms her down and he thinks it was his mistake. He leaks that Tan Taijin visited Ye family last night.
Ye Xiwu remembers the happy hour of her and her grandma. She remembers Tantai Jin kissed her then. She thinks everything was fake. She realizes that he learned to disguise. She cries after knowing the culprit was Tantai Jin. Xiao Lin stuns her.
Nian Baiyu reports to Tantai Jin that the good news will come. He wonders why Tantai Jin didn’t kill Xiao Lin. Tantai Jin reveals he has a plan. Ye Xiwu falls asleep in the carriage. Xiao Lin takes out the knife. He scoops out the soul eater with the knife.
Ye Xiwu wakes up in the carriage. She asks the bodyguard to send her back because she knows Xiao Lin will die. But the bodyguard mentions the order of Xiao Lin that Xiao Lin asked him to take Ye Xiwu to leave the battlefield. Xiao Lin rides horse to leave the camp with his followers. Ye Xiwu jumps off the carriage in Chong Yu’s help.
The general reports to Tantai Jin that Xiao Lin defeated them. Tantai Jin doesn’t believe it because he thinks Xiao Lin couldn’t get on the horse because of the soul eater. But the general reveals all of the soldiers saw it. He hands over the letter Xiao Lin left to Tantai Jin. Tantai Jin reads the letter. He learns that Xiao Lin passed away. Xiao Lin asks Tantai Jin to take care of his citizens. He gives Dragon Scale to him.
Ye Xiwu returns to the camp. She finds out that there’s a funeral. She cries after she realized that Xiao Lin is dead. Xiao Lin asks Tantai Jin to keep Ye Bingchang’s life. Tantai Jin walks out of his palace. He throws away the pieces of Xiao Lin’s letter. He wonders why Xiao Lin had to sacrifice himself for his nation.
Pang Yizhi tells Ye Xiwu that he’s going to return to Xiaoyao Sect. He asks her about her plan. Nian Baiyu reports to Tantai Jin that there’s no rumor that Ye Xiwu is a traitor. He reveals Ye Xiwu didn’t leave with Xiao Lin’s troops.
