This is the recap for Chinese drama The Romance of Tiger and Rose: Episode 2. Qian Qian wakes up and finds out that she’s still in the drama she wrote. She wonders when she will get back.
The Romance of Tiger and Rose: Episode 2 Recap
Note: From here on out there are specific plot spoilers for The Romance of Tiger and Rose: Episode 2.
Qian Qian remembers that the sky gate will open when Chu Chu becomes the city chief, and thinks Chu Chu won’t become the city chief without Han Shuo’s help according to “The Romance of Tiger and Rose” she wrote.
Zi Rui tells Qian Qian that City Chief intends to kill Han Shuo. Han Shuo asks to kill City Chief and Qian Qian. But Huai Ji tells Han Shuo not to give up dragon bone.
Qian Qian visits City Chief and asks her to forgive Han Shuo. City Chief rejects it, and Qiao Qiao says that she is pregnant. City Chief gets Sang Qi to tell Han Shuo that she will forgive her if he accepts the baby.
Sang Qi gives the green jade crown to Han Shuo in The Romance of Tiger and Rose. Qian Qian laughs to wear the crown, and Han Shuo asks if he needs to thank them.
Qian Qian tells Han Shuo that the wife belongs to him even if the baby doesn’t belong to him. Qian Qian tells Han Shuo not to get angry as the baby won’t follow his name.
Han Shuo tells Huai Ji to get rid of the baby and Qian Qian, and Huai Ji drops the poison in the glass cup.
But there’re too many glass cups in The Romance of Tiger and Rose. Han Shuo picks all of dishes for Qian Qian, and she realizes that he added the poison in the dishes.
Qian Qian tells Han Shuo to eat the dishes, but he turns over the table. Han Shuo wants to punish Huai Ji, and Huai Ji gets on knees asking for forgiving.
City Chief finds out that Qian Qian’s red point still remains, and she is furious to ask for Han Shuo.
Qian Qian explains that she loves Han Shuo and she cannot live without him. Rose City Chief sighs and tells Qian Qian to manage her husband well.
Qian Qian realizes that she should get Han Shuo and Chu Chu together so that The Romance of Tiger and Rose will end. She asks Zi Rui to bring her some writers, and she tells them that she intends to make the plot of hero saving beauty.

Qian Qian takes Han Shuo to the club, and gets him to challenge Chen Qi’s man Su Mu. People thinks Han Shuo will lose, and Qian Qian provokes Han Shuo that he isn’t the rival of musicians.
Su Mu shows up and gives his fan to Qian Qian. She thinks he is good looking, and wonders why Chu Chu doesn’t come. Han Shuo takes the sword to attack Qian Qian.
Chu Chu shows up and stops Han Shuo. Huai Ji reminds Han Shuo that Chu Chu is the second princess of rose city. Han Shuo takes fan to flirt with Chu Chu.
Qian Qian explains to Chu Chu that she forced Han Shuo to challenge musician, and tells her to take him home. But Chu Chu asks her followers to take down Han Shuo.
So Han Shuo fights with Chu Chu. Qian Qian thinks the The Romance of Tiger and Rose plot isn’t what she designed. Chu Chu takes off Han Shuo’s clothes.
Pei Heng shows up and stops the two. Chen Qi tells Pei Heng that it was Qian Qian’s idea. Han Shuo tells Huai Ji to arrange archers to kill Qian Qian.
Pei Heng blames Qian Qian for bullying Han Shuo as he’s alone to marry to rose city from tiger city. Qian Qian tears up and tells him that she likes him. Pei Heng is surprised that Qian Qian apologized to him.
Qian Qian wakes up and pinches Zi Rui’s ear. She wonders why her dream doesn’t end, and cries out. She thinks Han Shuo changed the poison wine, and complains that actor didn’t talk with writer before rewriting script. She asks how she can get back, and sees the dagger.
Qian Qian tries to take her life. But she gives up in the end. She tells herself that death isn’t scary, and thanks Han Shuo for giving her a chance to know herself. She wonders how she can get back, and remembers the heaven gate will open when Chu Chu becomes City Chief. She realizes that she has to take until The Romance of Tiger and Rose ends.
Qian Qian wonders how Chu Chu becomes younger city chief without Han Shuo’s help. She asks Zi Rui about Han Shuo. Zi Rui says that Han Shuo is in the jail and he will be killed today. He adds that City Chief suspects Han Shuo has another plan.
Bai Ji tells Han Shuo that their followers are waiting outside, and they will save them anytime. Han Shuo orders Bai Ji to tell his men to attack rose city. Bai Ji reminds Han Shuo that he doesn’t get the dragon bone. Han Shuo says that he decides to give up dragon bone, and thinks he will be killed by Qian Qian with anger.
Han Shuo says that he wants to catch the mother and daughters of rose city. He adds that he wants to kill Qian Qian. Bai Ji comforts Han Shuo that they shouldn’t give up dragon bone for the third princess.
Sang Qi tells City Chief that Qian Qian visited. She thinks Qian Qian did it for Han Shuo. Qian Qian rushes into the palace and tells her mom to forgive Han Shuo. Sang Qi tells Qian Qian that Han Shuo should be killed because he tried to murder her.
Qian Qian explains that Han Shuo didn’t intend to kill her, and reveals she wronged him. He asks her why she was drunk with one cup of wine since she’s good at drinking. She scolds him for asking her about drinking skill when Han Shuo is going to be killed.
City Chief is furious and thinks it’s important as Qian Qian is her daughter. She mentions Tiger City married Han Shuo to Rose City when they want their black stone mine. She asks her if they have another plan. Qian Qian is silent.
City Chief thinks Qian Qian should share the burden since she told it to her many times. She adds that Han Shuo was planned to marry Chu Chu, but Qian Qian robbed him. Qian Qian tells City Chief that she came to admit her fault. She asks her to let Han Shuo marry Chu Chu.
City Chief points out that Chu Chu cannot ask for Han Shuo as people know Qian Qian robbed the marriage. Qian Qian thinks Han Shuo shouldn’t be killed, and tells City Chief that her belly cannot understand it. She begins to vomit and eat plums. Sang Qi wants to get a doctor for Qian Qian.
