This is the Recap for The Rise of Phoenixes: Episode 68. Sun Hong tries to touch Yue Ling’s face. But she avoids him. She tells him that they’re strangers from now on. But he points out that she’s his Yue Ling no matter what face she shows to people.

Zhangsun Hong tells Yue Ling that she’s his true love all his life. He apologizes to her. She grabs his hand when she tears. She touches his face and tells him that it’s her wish. She thinks he didn’t let her down. She wishes everything to end early.
Yue Ling tells Zhangsun Hong that she wishes him to reach his goal. She thinks he won’t feel painful anymore. He hugs her and thinks their meeting up is for the moment. She asks him if he prepared everything. Yue Ling summons the eunuchs. The killers show up to kill those eunuchs.
Yue Ling wishes the Buddha to bless Zhangsun Hong to reach his goal. She promises to serve the Buddha all her life. The killers return after they wore the eunuchs’ clothes. Yue Ling tells them to return to the palace with her. Ning Yi walks into Emperor Ning’s palace. He greets him and calls himself ordinary person.
Emperor Ning blames Ning Yi for volunteering to be an ordinary person. He asks him if he doesn’t want to be his son as well. Ning Yi asks Emperor Ning where his parents are. Emperor Ning gets up from his bed. He tells Ning Yi that it’s the business of him and his mother.
Emperor Ning reminds Ning Yi that his father is alive even if his mother passed away. Ning Yi tells Emperor Ning that he doesn’t know if his father cared for him or not even if his father is alive. The people are close to Feng Zhiwei. They get on knees to her. They call her young master.
Feng Zhiwei tries to leave. Su Xiang stops her. He thinks she came to see the chief. He intends to go to tell it to the chief. But she stops him. She tells him that she wants to see her older brother. He takes her to the room. She hears the elder crying to tell Zhangsun Hong that they cannot live without him.
Feng Zhiwei breaks into the room. The elders greet her. She asks Zhangsun Hong what happened to him. She thinks he concealed many things from her. He tells the elders that Feng Zhiwei is their wish because she’s the princess of Great Cheng.
Zhangsun Hong tells the elders that Feng Zhiwei won’t make them be ghosts. The elder cries to tell Feng Zhiwei that Zhangsun Hong is going to pass away. The prince offers to let Ning Yi and Ning Qi make toasts to Emperor Ning at the banquet.
