Crown Prince summons Commander Gu to his palace. He asks him to inform Emperor that he’s gathering monks to pray. He claims that he does it for provoking Emperor. Emperor falls asleep in his palace after he read the papers. The eunuch tries to take the papers away from Emperor. But he wakes Emperor up.
The eunuch reports to Emperor that Prince Chu was dispirited. Emperor thinks he got Ning Yi involved. He mentions he will leave the world before Ning Yi. The eunuch learns that Emperor worried about Prince Chu. He reports to Emperor that the doctors didn’t find out the illness of the Crown Prince.
Feng Zhiwei walks on the street. Prince Zhao sent some assassins to assassinate her. Feng Zhiwei flees when the hero comes to save her. The hero has stunning martial skills. He defeats all of the assassins. Prince Chu’s staff officer spots it.
Feng Zhiwei flees to the woods. The hero Gu Nanyi is waiting for her. How did he come so fast? She does see his face because he wears a bamboo hat. She tries to flee. But he blocks her way because his boss asked him to protect her.

The staff officer Zi Yan comes for seeing Ning Yi. He tells him that he recovers. Ning Yi knows Zi Yan wasn’t just for seeing him. Zi Yan confesses that he knows the whereabouts of Feng Zhiwei. Ning Yi takes a look at the general Ning Cheng.
Ning Cheng explains it to his master that he asked Xin Ziyan a favor because he had no other ways. Xin Ziyan reports to Ning Yi that Qiu Mingying got a bodyguard for Feng Zhiwei. He thinks the woman isn’t simple. He reminds Ning Yi that his chess piece will be someone else’s chess piece. But Ning Yi enjoys the joy of playing Go.
Commander Gu sends a letter to Ning Yi. Ning Yi reads the letter. He learns that Crown Prince wanted to get rid of the 5th Prince Ning Yan. Xin Ziyan thinks Ning Yan should die after he completes his mission. He tries to go to scares Crown Prince.
But Ning Yi stops Xin Ziyan. He begs him to leak Feng Zhiwei’s whereabouts. Xin Ziyan thinks the prince fell for the lady. But Ning Yi reveals he looked for the lady because the lady is related to the case. Did he tell a lie? I’m not sure.
Wei Zhiwei uses a bamboo cage to catch a hare. She’s excited to report to Gu Nanyi that their dinner is ready. The injured assassin reports to Prince Zhao that Feng Zhiwei was saved by a bodyguard with great martial art. He thinks Feng Zhiwei has a great background. Prince Zhao is furious to tell the assassins to go to look into it.
Feng Zhiwei carries the hare to go to see Gu Nanyi. But Gu Nanyi is missing. Ning Yi replaces Gu Nanyi to stand at the place. He tells Feng Zhiwei that he let someone draw the person away. She thinks he doesn’t have to spend time on her.
