Xiao Qi rides the horse at the street. Song Huaien thinks Xiao Qi is very handsome with his wedding clothes. Xiao Qi tells Song Huaien that he wears the armor inside. Princess and Xiao Qi get married. Wang Xuan waits for Xiao Qi in the wedding room. But he doesn’t come. Su Jiner tells Wang Xuan to take off the phoenix crown.
The maid stops Wang Xuan and tells her that the phoenix crown can be only taken off by her husband. She tells her to wait for the king. Wang Xuan is told that Xiao Qi is going to leave. She is furious and tries to walk out of the wedding room. But she’s stopped by the maid.
Song Huaien reports to Wang Xuan that Xiao Qi had to leave because Hu Lan attacked the nation. She thinks Xiao Qi is just a coward. Song Huaien tells Wang Xuan to consider the overall situation. She asks him if she gave up her love wasn’t for the overall situation. She adds that she needs to bear it to volunteer to accept the big shame.
Princess tells Song Huaien what she saw was the ugly faces when she was asked to consider the overall situation. He gets on knees and tells her that he’s scared. She takes off the wedding hairpin and tells him to give it to Xiao Qi. She thinks men should take responsibility, and nobody can replace him to do the thing. He accepts the wedding hairpin.
Xiao Qi leaves capital with his troops. Wang Xuan spots it and throws the wedding crown in front of people. The wedding crown is broken. She tells us that she has a dream, and wishes to wake up from the dream.
Song Huaien reports to Xiao Qi that Wang Xuan doesn’t accept the gifts. He thinks she cannot be flattered. Xiao Qi tells Song Huaien to continue to send the gifts.
Su Jiner tells Princess that Xiao Qi sent the letter to her again. Wang Xuan doesn’t want to take a look at the letter. Su Jiner complains that they wouldn’t be like that if Xiao Qi didn’t run away from the wedding. But Wang Xuan points out that she lives so happy.
Su Jiner tells Wang Xuan that Zi Tan sent the letter to her as well. Wang Xuan doesn’t want to open the letter because she’s Yuzhang Princess now. Su Jiner tells Wang Xuan to take a look at the Duck Lantern. Wang Xuan takes a look at the Duck Lantern, and remembers she wished the Duck Lantern to fly high so that Zi Tan would see it.
