Lin Jianguo is furious to ask Gu Wei what he said to his daughter. He mentions Lin Zhixiao told him to do the test again. Gui Wei reminds Lin Jianguo that his families will feel guilty if he passes away. He reveals Lin Zhixiao cried. He asks him if he wants his daughter to live with worry.
Lin Zhixiao runs into Li Huijuan who just left the ward. Li Huijuan tells Lin Zhixiao that her father told her that he wants to do another test. She wonders why he changed his mind. Lin Zhixiao sees Gu Wei. She greets him.

Gu Wei is told that Lin Jianguo has a cancer. Gao Xi walks into his office and tells him that the director praised him for what he did. But he thinks it’s not a good news for Lin Jianguo and his families. She tells him that he misunderstood her. She adds that she feels happy for Lin Jianguo who encounters an outstanding doctor like Gu Wei.
Gao Xi asks Gu Wei to operate for Lin Jianguo. But he rejects it. Li Huijuan tears up when she sits on the bench in the lobby. Lin Zhixiao joins her mom. She slaps her shoulder and lets her lean on her shoulder. Li Huijuan hugs Lin Zhixiao to cry.
Lin Jianguo brags that he knew he’s fine. He thinks they wasted the money. Li Huijuan agrees to what her husband said. She tells him that she wants to stew for him. He thinks it’s a good idea. He blames Lin Zhixiao for letting him do the test.
Lin Zhixiao agrees to what Lin Jianguo said. But she mentions he concealed the cigarette. Li Huijuan finds the cigarette from Lin Jianguo’s bed. She throws a fit to him. Lin Zhixiao runs out of the ward. She’s in tears. Qiu Qiu shows up. He asks her what happened.
Lin Zhixiao wipes off her tears. She tells Qiu Qiu that she’s fine. He hands over the lollipop to her. He thinks the candy will make her feel better. She praises him and she walks away. She cries when she stands on the rooftop. He spots her and he runs away.
Gu Wei passes by Lin Jianguo’s ward. Qiu Qiu runs to Gu Wei. He asks him to look for the medicine for him. Gu Wei leaves after he let Qiu Qiu return to his ward. Qiu Qiu opens the door. He smiles when he sees Gu Wei off. Gu Wei reaches the rooftop. He spots Lin Zhixiao crying. He wants to leave. But he changes his mind and he joins her.
Lin Zhixiao wonders why Gu Wei came. He explains that Qiu Qiu asked him to look for the medicine for him. She thinks the medicine isn’t there. She wants to help Gu Wei. He rejects it and thinks he found what Qiu Qiu asked him to look for.
Gu Wei notes that Lin Zhixiao’s eyes are red because of crying. She explains that it was because of the wind. He tells her that crying isn’t a bad thing. He adds that her father’s illness can be cured if he gets the treatment. He shares the music with her.
Gao Xi introduces the doctor Yan Bingjun to Lin Zhixiao. Yan Bingjun wants to cut off the whole stomach. It makes Li Huijuan sad. Lin Zhixiao mentions Gu Wei’s treatment which can keep half of the stomach. She asks Gao Xi to let Gu Wei operate for her father.
Gao Xi tells Lin Zhixiao to talk with Gu Wei. Lin Zhixiao and Li Huijuan are very happy. Li Huijuan gives the cash to Lin Zhixiao. She tells her to buy Gu Wei something with the cash. She mentions Gao Xi told them to be sincere to Gu Wei.
Lin Zhixiao points out what Gao Xi meant was that they should be sincere to Gu Wei when they talk with him. Li Huijuan scolds Lin Zhixiao. She thinks she’s still a kid. Lin Zhixiao follows Gu Wei to get into his office. She tells him that he’s the doctor that her families trust most. She asks him to operate for her father when she shakes his hands.
Gu Wei rejects it because Lin Jianguo’s Attending Physician is Yan Bingjun. Lin Zhixiao mentions what Yan Bingjun said that he wants to cut off the whole stomach for her father. Gu Wei tells Lin Zhixiao that he cannot operate for her father because of personal matter.
Lin Zhixiao learns that Gu Wei needs the sincerity from her. She tries to hand over the hair supplement to him. But he rejects it and drives her out of his office. Gao Xi runs into Lin Zhixiao. She promises to go to persuade Gu Wei. But Gu Wei tells Gao Xi not to persuade him.
Gao Xi agrees to Gu Wei’s plan. She tells him that she wants to go to the top lab with her. She tells him that she wants to do it for him when she holds his hand. Lin Zhixiao breaks into the office. She sees Gao Xi holding Gu Wei’s hand. She tells the two that she doesn’t see anything. She tries to leave.
Gu Wei keeps Lin Zhixiao. He mentions what she said that she wants to talk with him. He tells Gao Xi to leave. Lin Zhixiao smiles at Gu Wei. She thinks Gao Xi is Gu Wei’s ex-girlfriend. She adds that Gu Wei wants to bully Gao Xi when she wants to stay with him.
Gu Wei denies. Lin Zhixiao thinks Gao Xi has a crush on Gu Wei. Gu Wei stops Lin Zhixiao. He tells her to leave. She blames him for giving up her after he used her. She tells him that she won’t leave if he doesn’t explain the reason to her.
Gu Wei tells Lin Zhixiao that he loves the orange she bought very much. He tells her to go to wash the orange. But he leaves after she went to wash the orange for him. Lin Zhixiao returns and finds out that the door is closed. She thinks Gu Wei did a great job.
Gu Wei visits Yan Bingjun and tells him to take his advice. But Yan Bingjun points out it’s Gu Wei’s idea. He tells Gu Wei to operate for Lin Jianguo. Lin Zhixiao meets with Xiao Shan at the cafe. She reveals she asked Gu Wei to operate for her father, but he rejected it.
Xiao Shan mentions what Lin Zhixiao said that Gu Wei is a bad person. She wonders why she changed her mind. Lin Zhixiao leaks that Gu Wei found her father’s illness. She thinks he’s the only doctor who can save her father. Xiao Shan tells Lin Zhixiao to give a gift to Gu Wei to beg him.
Xiao Shan laughs after knowing the gifts Lin Zhixiao gave to Gu Wei. She shares the tip with her. Lin Zhixiao intends to give the red envelope to Gu Wei. But she flees after he showed up behind her. Gu Xiao calls Xiao Shan. But she doesn’t pick up his phone. He goes to see her at the cafe.
Gu Xiao apologizes to Xiao Shan. But he gets a video call from the girl who asks him for a meeting up. Xiao Shan leaves. Lin Zhixiao waits for Gu Wei. He tells her that he wants to eat with her. She agrees to it and she takes him to the restaurant.
But Lin Zhixiao sees the heart shape flowers on the table. The waitress hands over the menu to Gu Wei. She tells him that it’s their Valentine’s Theme Day. Lin Zhixiao is surprised. She tells the waitress that it’s her treat. She adds that she’s not Gu Wei’s girlfriend. Lin Zhixiao stands up. She asks Gu Wei to operate for her father. She hands over the red envelope to him. She runs away.

Gu Wei hands over the red envelope to Xiao Du. He tells him to deal with it. Xiao Du mistakes that Gu Wei decided to operate for Lin Zhixiao’s father. Gu Wei denies it. Li Huijuan reports to Lin Zhixiao that Gu Wei returned the money to her. She thinks the doctor doesn’t want to operate for her husband. Lin Zhixiao comforts her mom that she will convince Gu Wei.
