A Dou tells Li Changge that he’s very useful to her because he knows everything about Changan. He asks her to let him follow her. She tells him that he will die if he follows her. He tells her that he thinks it’s worth of it if he follows her to take the path in her heart. He says that he fears death but he doesn’t want to live like a dog.
A Dou notes that Li Changge smiled. He thinks she looks pretty when she smiles. She tells him not to hate her since he asks for death. He learns that she accepted him. Ashina Sun is surprised that Li Changge fled. He’s interested in him. He asks the follower Su Yishe if Li Jiancheng has any son. Su Yishe denies because all of Li Jiancheng’s sons got killed.

Su Yishe thinks Li Changge is just a normal guy. The follower gets on knees to Li Shiming. He asks to take the bodyguards to catch the princess. Du Ruhui glares at the follower Fang Yi. Fang Yi is startled and calls Li Changge as escaped criminal.
Fang Xuanling asks Fang Yi why he talked nonsense. Du Ruhui asks Fang Xuanling about it. Fang Xuanling says that the followers of Li Jiancheng will flee if they search for them. He tells Du Ruhui that the melon won’t be sweet if they forces to eat them. He asks him to taste the melon.
Du Ruhui thinks Li Leyan wouldn’t release Li Changge if someone didn’t support her. Fang Xuanling tells Du Ruhui not to stare at him. He thinks it was reasonable that Li Leyan visited Li Changge because they’re best sisters. Du Ruhui asks if it was reasonable to steal Crown Prince Seal.
Fang Xuanling says that he didn’t expect that Li Leyan had guts. Du Ruhui is furious to ask Fang Xuanling if he wants to praise the girl. Fang Xuanling tells Du Ruhui not to wrong him. He says that it wasn’t related to him. He adds that he wouldn’t support Li Leyan to take away Crown Prince Seal.
Li Shiming stops the two. He thinks his daughter shouldn’t do that. He reveals that he punished her to think about her fault. He tells Fang Yi to go to arrest Li Changge. But he asks him not to kill her. Du Ruhui reminds Li Shiming that Li Changge has great martial arts. But Li Shiming says that he wants Li Changge to be alive.
Li Shiming mentions what Fang Xuanling said that the ministers are watching it. He asks him if he has any strategy. Fang Xuanling tells Li Shiming to use the wood Wei Zheng.
