Why Gu Jin Lent Heaven Umbrella to Hua Shu?
Note: From here on out there are specific plot spoilers for The Last Immortal: Episode 6.
Wu Gui tells A Yin and Gu Jin to leave since they have gotten Feng Yin’s soul. But A Yin asks Gu Gui to untie the master and servant contract for her and Gu Jin. Wu Gui tries to untie the contract. But he tells the two the he cannot untie it.
He believes that Dong Hua made the contract. Gu Jin admits it. He reveals Dong Hua made the contract before he became god. Wu Gui tells Gu Jin and A Yin that Dong Hua made the contract for protecting them. But A Yin thinks she doesn’t need the protection of the contract. Wu Gui tells A Yin that it’s not as simple as she thinks.
Gu Jin takes A Yin to leave. She’s surprised that he didn’t let her heal with him. She asks him if he recovered. He claims that he can heal himself on his own. He asks her not to look at him. He wears his clothes.
A Yin explains to Gu Jin that she came to tell him that she has forgiven him. She promises not to tame him. She treats him as her friend. He explains to her that he lent Heaven Umbrella to Hua Shu because Hua Shu worried about her father. He reveals he didn’t wish Hua Shu to lose her father like him.
Does A Yin Have Feelings for Gu Jin?
Gu Jin reveals his father left his mother and him for shouldering the calamity on his own. A Yin thinks Gu Jin’s father is a hero. Gu Jin admits it because his father saved many people. But he thinks his father couldn’t live for himself like Feng Chi.
A Yin tells Gu Jin to be himself because he has her. He agrees to what she said when he strokes her hair. He reveals he likes everything about Great Lake Mountain. He wishes to stay with her forever. It makes her happy. She mentions the water beasts have short life.
She promises to live longer. She thinks she can stay with him longer if she does so. Gu Jin cheers A Yin up when he hugs her. She’s startled to run away. She reminds him that he didn’t wear his clothes well. Gu Jin shows up behind A Yin when she’s writing down his name on her Immortal Book.

It startles her. He asks her if she ran into good guy. She mentions there’re many guys in Monster Realm. She thinks she should write them down. She wonders if they’re going to leave Monster Realm. He denies it and he takes her to a good place.

Episode 6 of The Last Immortal ends with Gu Jin telling Hong Yi to let the past go when they arrive at Immortal Mountain. But he uses the spell to make him not move. Hong Yi flies into A Yin’s bag. He runs into Yan Shuang. She gets angry when she sees him.
