Ji-Un asks Seok-Jo to release his friends. Because he thinks they did nothing. Seok-Jo rejects it even if he knows they’re innocent. He tells Ji-Un to work in the palace. He promises to keep his follower’s lives. Lee Hwi goes to see the teacher. She’s surprised that the teacher is Ji-Un.
Lee Hwi mentions she told Ji-Un that she doesn’t want to see him. He tells her that he doesn’t forget it. He reveals he was asked by the king. Lee Hwi visits King Hyejong. She tells him that she doesn’t want Ji-Un to be her teacher because she knows he’s a bad guy. But King Hyejong rejects it because Lee Hwi is lack of evidence.
Lee Hwi tells King Hyejong to interrogate the maids and the servant who are related to Ji-Un. But they deny that they saw Ji-Un before. Lee Hwi tells King Hyejong to interrogate Ji-Un. She reveals she ran into the guy after she walked out of the palace.
But King Hyejong scolds Lee Hwi for leaving the palace. Eunuch Hong tells Lee Hwi that the maids and the servant lied because they got money from Seok-Jo. Court Lady Kim worries that Ji-Un will find Lee Hwi’s identity because he will be close to her during the class. Lee Hwi tells Court Lady Kim that she will make Ji-Un resign.
Lee Hwi brings the books to Ji-Un and tells him to transcribe them. Moon-Soo thinks Ji-Un offended Lee Hwi. Lee Hwi prepares the meal for Ji-Un. She tells him to drink. He remembers Moon-Soo told him that Lee Hwi wants him to be drunk.
Ji-Un eats the pill he prepared before he drinks. He’s fine after he drank up all of the wine she gave him. Eunuch Hong is drunk after he tasted the wine. Lee Hwi tells Ji-Un to catch loaches. He wants to resign after she smelled the smell on his body. But he remembers Seok-Jo promised to release his friends if he can serve Lee Hwi well.
The King’s Affection K-Drama: Episode 4 Ending
Lee Hyun takes Lee Hwi to run out of the Jewelry Store. Ga-On and Eunuch Hong chase them. They don’t find them because they hide behind the cloth. Lee Hyun hands over the gift to Lee Hwi after Ga-On and Eunuch Hong left. Lee Hwi opens the gift. She finds out that it’s a ring.
Lee Hwi asks Lee Hyun why he gave the ring to her. He explains that he wants her to give it to the girl she likes. He protects her when the woman pours water to her.
