The Kingdoms of Ruin Episode 3 reveals Mia knows nothing about it. Mia tells Doroka that humans suddenly attacked them. Doroka is surprised. She thinks witches and humans has gotten along well. She mentions they cured Tom. She asks Mia to use magic.
But Mia reveals they cannot use the magic because the machine sealed the magic. She believes that their chief Ofelia knows something. She asks Doroka to go to inform Ofelia about what happened in the village. Doroka rejects it. She asks Mia to flee with her.
But Mia asks Doroka to listen to her. Doroka realizes that the soldiers did something bad to Mia. Mia grabs the doll. She uses the doll to cheer Doroka up. Doroka wipes off her tears. She takes over the doll from Mia. She runs away. The soldiers find Mia.
Episode 3 returns to the scene where Doroka is shot. She apologizes to Adonis when he carries her. She vomits blood. He asks her to hang in there because he wishes to know the method to resurrect Chloe. She tries to tell the secret to him. But she’s killed by the soldiers.
Eekhout reports to Yamato that he has completed his task. Adonis uses his magic to make an enchantment. The soldiers shoot him. But the bullets are blocked by the enchantment. Adonis returns the bullets to the soldiers. He kills them.
Adonis tries to walk to the last soldier. Eekhout catches the chance to shoot Adonis. But the bullet stops before it reaches Adonis. Adonis returns the bullet to Eekhout. He walks to the last soldier when he thinks the soldiers shouldn’t be alive because they killed Chloe.
He intends to let humans taste the despair of Chloe. Yuki looks at the machine DAM. She learns that it’s the scientific crystallization which defeated witches. She thinks she can seal Adonis’s magic if she uses the machine. She feels happy because she thinks she’s going to help her brother.
She tells her followers to go to use the machine. But she’s stopped by Director Theta of the National Science Agency. Theta tells Yuki that she cannot use the machine. Yuki asks Theta to explain it. Theta uses Yuki’s phone to call Yamato.
She thinks they’re like the ants in a hot pot. He recognizes her according to her voice. She asks him for a talk. But he claims that he doesn’t have time. She tells him that he cannot use the Magic Suppression Device. She mentions the illness of Cellular Dysfunction.
He remembers the soldiers got the disease when they hunted witches. He asks her about the disease. She reveals the disease was caused by the machine. He wonders why he didn’t hear the news. She reveals the king didn’t allow them to leak the message.
She thinks humans will be killed by the rays without witches’ help. She thinks he knows the king’s health. She mentions the king stood in front of the machine to persuade people. He learns that the king is sick because of the illness.
But he gets angry when Adonis laughs to kill the soldiers. Theta tries to return the phone to Yuki. She tells her to go home if she knows what happened. But Yuki runs to the machine. She thinks she doesn’t have time to think about if she will be sick or not.
She remembers her brother gave the task to her. Theta tells her followers to leave. She goes to chase Yuki. She asks her not to use the machine. But Yuki uses it. Adonis finds out that his magic disappears. His pen drops. Yamato calls Theta. He asks her what happened.
She tells him nothing happened. She reminds him that he can defeat the boy even if he doesn’t have the machine. She tells him that their kingdom is indestructible. He’s cheered up by her words. He tells the soldiers to attack Adonis.
The soldiers try to shoot Adonis when he tries to grab the pen. A soldier rushes to Adonis. She uses her knife to cut off his head. She carries his head to see the soldiers. She tells them that she made it. She throws Adonis’s head to them.

Episode 3 of The Kingdoms of Ruin ends with the soldiers cheering after they saw Adonis’s head. They praise the soldier for killing Adonis. Ria goes to the tomb. She thinks the king didn’t protect the people well. She apologizes to Takuma. She thinks he hates her. She remembers she fled when he asked her to save him.
