This is first episode of Chinese drama The Eternal Love. Qu Tan Er meets Mo Lian Cheng while escaping from her marriage. She is punished by Madam Xu and locked up.
The second daughter of Qu family Qu Tan Er (Liang Jie) complaints of the world while maid Jing Xin asks her which food she wants to eat. She claims she has legitimate job and lets her call her “Xiao Tan” while Jing Xin calls her Miss. Qu Tan Er asks her maid about her ancient bed, but the maid didn’t find after searched the whole house. When she is going to leave, Jing Xin tells her 8th Prince is going to visit her negotiating their wedding. Qu Tan Er thinks her future husband is old and ugly, but Jing Xin reveals 8th Prince is handsome. Qu Tan Er thinks she cheats her, Jing Xin tells her that maids and servants is going to watch him. She is happy as there are only she and Jing Xin in the house.
The Eternal Love Recap: Episode 1 – Two Sides of Miss
The 8th Prince Mo Lian Cheng (Xing Zhao Lin) is playing Go, he is attacked by a group of assassins. His men Yu Hao kills most of assassins. At this time, an assassin appears from lake and is going to attack Mo Lian Cheng with a sharp sword. He kills via a chess piece and ends the battle. He tells Yu Hao’s he is too slow.
Qu Tan Er tries to climb wall, Jing Xin stops her. She finds baskets to climb successfully. However, she finds she cannot get down as the wall is too high. At this time, Mo Lian Cheng walks through. She calls him and asks for help, but he thinks man and woman should keep distance. Maids and servants arrive and are going to catch her. She hits them down via her feet.
Qu Tan Er thinks he is a sissy while she sees Mo Lian Cheng stands there without any action. She falls and lets him catch her. However, he ignores it. She faints while hitting ground. Jin Xing arrives and watches her. She wakes up and is transferred into another personality. She says sorry to him politely. He is curious about her changing.
Mo Lian Cheng asks Qu Tan Er’s father whether or not his daughter is born of concubine. Master says yes and thinks he wants to cancel wedding, but Mo Lian Cheng denies it. He sees her via a gauze and asks her a new word “sissy” which he heard from somewhere. She says she doesn’t know and never heard of it.
Jin Xing thinks Miss isn’t satisfied with 8th Prince. Miss denies it and thinks nobody is interested in her. Madam lets Qu Tan Er kneel and stabbed her with needle as she climbed the wall and embarrassed family. Jin Xing protects her and begs Madam not to continue. Madam thinks she wants to fight with Pan Er. Qu Tan Er complaints to Madam that her daughter stole her husband. She pushes Qu Tan Er down. She faints again and her another personality appears. She blames what Madam did on her and thinks she is in menopause. Madam thinks she is crazy and lets servants catch her and lock her up.
Yu Hao reports to 8th Prince what Madam Qu did on Miss, but Mo Lian Cheng thinks it’s just their trick. Madam Qu Lets Qu Tan Er to embroiders mandarin duck pouch otherwise she won’t let leave. She pretends she is going to bathroom. At that time, the room gets dark, she touches a candlestick opening another space accidentally.
A strange man and a strange woman killed two persons via their paws. We cannot see their faces as their caps cover it. The male says, “It seems like the thing we are looking for is in Dong Yue country.”
Qu Tan Er enters modern world and runs as the two persons chase her. She enters a room which is full of ghost’s voice. She faints after seeing words on the wall.
