What Happens In The Escape of the Seven Episode 5?
Note: From here on out there are specific plot spoilers for The Escape of the Seven: Episode 5.
But Yong-Joo stands up to support the judge. Hwi-So cries when he’s taken away. He tries to escape from the prison. But he’s caught. The officers throw him into the cell. They beat him. Hwi-So takes out a toothbrush after the officers left.
The prisoner kidnaps Hwi-So to the kitchen. He tells him not to get them involved. He reminds him that there’re some knives on the wall. Ki-Tak throws a knife to Hwi-So. He tells him to kill himself with the knife. But Hwi-So doesn’t listen to what Ki-Tak said.
So Ki-Tak wants to kill Hwi-So. He puts the knife on his neck. Hwi-So tells Ki-Tak that she wants to leave the prisoner to check if his daughter is alive or not. He fights with the prisoners. But he’s caught. Ki-Tak pours the hot water to Hwi-So’s face.
The prisoner reports it to the officers. He takes them to the kitchen. The officers beat the prisoners. They carry Hwi-So away with the doctor. Ki-Tak has an eye contact with the officer. Hwi-So is sent to the hospital. Mo-Ne is happy to drink with La-Hui after her drama got a good rating. She thinks she won’t make it without her help.
La-Hui asks Mo-Ne to promise her that she won’t have a child. Mo-Na promises it. She sings in the studio. La-Hui looks at Mo-Ne. But she sees Da-Mi. She’s startled. She thinks she will feel guilty if she cries. She tells herself to make Mo-Ne be the best actress.
Hwi-So is taken back to the prison. The officers leave after they locked the door. But The Escape of the Seven Episode 5 finds out that the person is Chil-Sung after Chil-Sung turned around. It flashes back. The police save Chil-Sung. They take him to the hospital.
Chil-Sung grabs Secretary Hwang’s hand. He asks him to help him leave the hospital. The doctors operates on Chil-Sung. Secretary Hwang watches the doctors from another room. Chi-Sung is taken out of the operating room. The doctors switches him and Hwi-So.
Ki-Tak walks into the cell. He gets on knees to Chil-Sung. He reveals Hwi-So has left the prison. Chil-Sung thinks Hwi-So will the the one who takes revenge for Da-Mi. He promises to give all of his money to Ki-Tak. He asks Ki-Tak to help Hwi-So.
Is Chil-Sung Alive?
Ki-Tak worries about Chil-Sung’s health. Chil-Sung wants to help Hwi-So before he passes away. Mo-Ne promises the app. She asks the people to come to Jeju Island with her. She has fun in the pool with the people. She reveals the person she loves most is her mother.
Do-Hyuk climbs to the stage to dance with Mo-Ne. Matthew Lee watches them. We see a scar on his chest. He smiles and drinks the wine. He thinks his enemies gathered to the hotel. Ki-Tak visits Chil-Sung in the cell. He reveals he’s going to release. He confesses to him that Hwi-So knew his plan. He walks out of the prisoner. He calls Matthew Lee. He reveals Chil-Sung is hanging in there in the prison. Matthew Lee thinks he owes Chil-Sung debts.
It flashes back. Ki-Tak visits Hwi-So in the ward. He brings the clothes to him. Hwi-So runs out of his ward. He tries to stop Chil-Sung. But he’s stopped by Ki-Tak. Ki-Tak reveals Chil-Sung tried his best to help Hwi-So. It makes Hwi-So sad.
Ki-Tak reminds Hwi-So that he needs some powers to deal with the powerful people. He hands over Chil-Sung’s bankbook to him. Hwi-So takes a look at the bankbook. Chil-Sung asks Hwi-So to pay him the interest. Hwi-So takes a look at Chil-Sung. Chi-Sung is taken away by the officer.

Episode 5 of The Escape of the Seven ends with Myoung-Ji drinking up all of the water. Ju-Ran is furious to blame Myoung-Ji. The woman smells the flower. But she’s killed by the flower. The people are scared after they saw the woman’s scary face.
