Ki-Jun has been divorced three times. His ex-wives are all weird. His first wife Na-Rae becomes his boss in The Divorce Insurance Episode 2. His second wife leaves home and becomes a nun. But she’s treated as his spiritual advisor by him. He goes to the temple to ask for help when he gets a problem.
Episode 2
Na-Rae holds the first meeting of the divorce team. She plans to develop a divorce data model based on big data. Because they want to confirm the feasibility of divorce insurance. They need to collect related divorce data. Han-Deul thinks she needs to find a good reason to prove that divorce needs insurance.
Ki-Jun supports Han-Deul’s point. But Na-Rae thinks he took the girl’s side. She’s not happy to ask everyone to collect data first. Dae-Bok worries that the two will have a fight. Na-Rae arranges the tasks of collecting data. Ki-Jun teams up with Han-Deul. Na-Rae teams up with Jeon-Man.
Ki-Jun takes Han-Deul to have lunch. He thinks they can only have strength to work when they’re full. He fights the man who drives a sports car for the parking spot. The two men decide to settle it with a guessing game. Ki-Jun wins in the end.
Han-Deul thanks Ki-Jun for winning for her. Because the man is her ex-husband. He notes that she’s not happy. He teases her and he makes her laugh. She wants to go to law firms to collect data after the lunch. But he takes her to a temple.
The one who welcomes them is a young nun. Han-Deul learns that the two know each other. She mistakes the nun for Ki-Jun’s friend. But the nun says that they were a couple. Ki-Jun lets Han-Deul ask his ex-wife questions. His ex-wife is a wise woman.
Han-Deul reveals the goal why they came. They want to collect for proving the necessity of divorce insurance. She asks the nun to share her views on divorce. The nun reveals she’s longed for the alone life. She just didn’t dare to tell her thoughts to her parents. She followed ordinary people’s trajectory to get married. Ki-Jun saw her thoughts after he was married. He granted her wish.
The nun knows that many couples will face a lot of obstacles when they choose to get divorced. Because people won’t blame those people who suffered. But they look down on the people who got divorced ever. She knows the divorce insurance will make the people face the pressure. But the divorce insurance will help them if they choose to get divorced for living from the heart. It gives their future the hope.
The nun tells the two that there will be a meteor shower in the evening. She persuades them to stay for watching it. Ki-Jun sees that Han-Deul wants to watch the meteor shower. He orders a pizza and he watches the meteor shower with her on the camper.
They talk about the divorce insurance. They ask each other about the special insurance they want to get. The insurance Ki-Jun wants to get is words insurance. He can choose any word he wants to speak and he won’t get rejected in the marriage. Han-Deul guesses that Ki-Jun was scolded by someone or he scolded someone. He doesn’t answer her.
She mentions the insurance she wants to get. The self-esteem insurance. She will get compensation if her self-esteem is hurt. The compensation she wants to get is her self-esteem. Meanwhile, Jeon-Man and Na-Rae are talking about same question. She asks him to take her to the professional place to collect data. But he takes her to the internet cafe. Relaxing is very important to him. But she falls asleep when she sits on the chair.
He’s surprised and he approaches her for checking. But she opens her eyes. She’s a little uneasy. She makes an excuse to get some fresh air and she runs outside. He chases her out of the internet cafe and he asks her about the marriage of her and Ki-Jun.
He only saw her one time at the wedding as Ki-Jun’s childhood friend. He never saw her in his life. She claims that she and Ki-Jun didn’t register their marriage. They got married after they had dated for three months. They got a divorce after they were married. She didn’t see Ki-Jun’s any friend after the wedding. They got married just because of some insulting words.
Words is the most sharpest weapon. It can hurt someone else and it can kill a marriage. She wishes to get words insurance as well. So she can get good words as a compensation after she was hurt by another side with bad words. Jeon-Man wishes to get space travel emergency help insurance instead. It makes Na-Rae laugh. They open their hearts when they communicate. Their relationship isn’t cold like before. He even approaches her and he takes her arm for explaining the stars in the sky for her. Ki-Jun reaches out his hand to Han-Deul. He pulls her to the roof for watching the stars. She takes a look at him who’s under the moonlight. She’s feelings for him suddenly.
The next day, Han-Deul runs into Na-Rae in the movie theater. The movie is over. Na-Rae notes that Han-Deul was alone to watch the movie. She asks her about her next plan. Han-Deul takes Na-Rae to the workshop for learning knitting a sweater.
Na-Rae chooses green wool. She claims that she wants to knit it for someone she likes. Han-Deul remembers Ki-Jun told her that he likes green. She asks Na-Rae about it. Na-Rae claims that she still loves Ki-Jun. Although she knows the probability of making up is very little, it doesn’t mean that she forgives her love because of it. She finds out that she’s feelings for Ki-Jun.
The next day, the insurance team has a meeting again. They make a plan, according to the data. Ki-Jun thinks they can provide divorce preventing services for couples. He thinks parenting counseling is a good choice as well. Na-Rae decides to list the projects in the term of services. They go bowling for celebrating it.
It’s Han-Deul’s first time to bowl. Ki-Jun teaches her. Na-Rae doesn’t want to be weak. She stands next to him for learning. The teammates think the atmosphere is weird. They don’t dare to approach. They go to sing after they bowled.
The next day, Na-Rae and Dae-Bok submit the plan. The board of directors makes the decision after an intense discussion. Na-Rae tells the team members that the plan was passed. But they need to sell thirty insurances within three days. They need to ensure that the divorce rate is zero after the contract expires.
The people are frustrated. They think only the top insurance sellers can achieve it. It’s too hard to them. Dae-Bok intends to end the plan. But Ki-Jun doesn’t want to be defeated. He cheers the people up and he believes that they can complete the task. Because there’s a place to resolve the problem.

The four go to the wedding fair. Ki-Jun thinks the couples will suffer from the premarital depression. The couples worry that the married life isn’t guaranteed. He thinks they can use the mentality. But they’re driven off the stage by the couples who look forward to marriage after a passionate speech.
The girl caused the most trouble walks to Ki-Jun for being insured. More people ask them about the insurance. There’s a mother being insured for her daughter who’s going to get married. She worries that her daughter will get a bad married life. There’s another lady being insured for her son who’s going to get married soon. The two ladies have an eye contact. They’re shocked.
