This is the recap for Sword and Fairy: Episode 9. Xian Qing is hurt for protecting Luo Zhaoyan. Ge Qingfei leaves. Ming Xiu sees Xian Qing. She decides to take him to Blue Mountain because he was hurt bad. Ju Shifang tells Luo Zhaoyan to go to take care of Xian Qing.
Sword and Fairy Episode 9 Recap: A Fool In Love
Note: From here on out there are specific plot spoilers for Sword and Fairy: Episode 9.
Qili Xiaoyuan has a fight with Yue Qi and Yue Jinzhao. She makes Yue Jinzhao fall off the cliff. Yue Qi jumps off the cliff to save Yue Jinzhao. Qili Xiaoyuan cries to tell her older brother and her older sister that she didn’t intend to kill them.
Yue Qi jumps into the sea to save Yue Jinzhao. She kisses him in the water. He leaves the sea with her. He passes out. She mistakes that he doesn’t recover. She tries to kiss him again. But he spits out a goldfish. She carries the goldfish to the sea. She releases her.
Yue Jinzhao reminds Yue Qi that they need to go to Wind and Smoke Hotel to see Ju Shifang. She tries to leave with him. But she hears a voice. They see Gao Xiao and Meng Cheng. Meng Cheng laughs. He mentions he let Yue Qi and Yue Jinzhao flee.
Yue Jinzhao points out that the ones who fled weren’t them. Gao Xian reveals he managed the water area for raising Zhen Yao. He plays the flute. The sea monster Zhen Yao shows up. He attacks Yue Qi and Yue Jinzhao. Yue Jinzhao deals with the sea monster alone.
He tells Yue Qi to go to see Ju Shifang. But she casts the light swords to the sea monster. She kills the sea monster before he eats Yue Jinzhao. Gao Xiao flees with Meng Cheng. Yue Qi worries about Yue Jinzhao. She tries to wake him up.
Ming Xiu takes Luo Zhaoyan and Xian Qing to Blue Mountain. She calls her master. She comforts Luo Zhaoyan that her master is there. Her master tries to test her. But she tells him that Xian Qing was hurt. The chief of Blue Mountain Gu Hanjiang shows up.

He tells Ming Xiu and Luo Zhaoyan to take Xian Qing into his cave. Luo Zhaoyan places Xian Qing on the bed. She tries to leave. But he holds her hand. Ming Xiu asks Luo Zhaoyan to leave with her because her master Gu Hanjiang needs to treat Xian Qing.
Luo Zhaoyan comforts Xian Qing that everybody is fine. She leaves the cave. She remembers Xian Qing held her hand. She wishes him to recover. Gu Hanjiang gives Xian Qing a treatment. He thinks Xian Qing won’t wake up. Yue Qi carries Yue Jinzhao in the field. She lets him take a break on the wood. She asks him to wake up and she tells him that she cannot lose him. She cries to tell him that she won’t give up him even if the master in her dream comes back. He wakes up and he tells her that he feels cold. Episode 9 of Sword and Fairy ends with Xian Qing telling Gu Hanjiang that Luo Zhaoyan is a very special girl. Gu Hanjiang sighs. He leaves his cave.
