This is first episode of Suits Korean Drama, Yeon Woo is talented who is good at memory. He is chosen to be Kang Seok’s associate because he recognizes the sculpture he placed. But Yeon Woo isn’t educated, and commit a crime in front of Kang Seok.
Suits Korean Drama Recap: Episode 1
Kang Seok visits Yeon Woo in the prison, there is a voice says that fate isn’t made by coincidence, but your choice.
Geum Sik looks at his arguing colleagues, thinking classless animals cannot be giraffes no matter how hard they worked. He praises himself in front of Ha Yeon, but she only wants to see Kang Seok. Meanwhile Kang Seok is playing poke with his dad at the club. He wins ultimately, and gets his father’s money.
Mr. Park sits in office, and asks Ha Yeon to get rid of TaeJin for him, but she stands by Taejin’s side, and defends for Taejin’s CEO Mr. Oh. He gets angry, and asks her who she works for. Just then Geum Sik asks Mr. Park to calm down, Ha Yeon lets Geum Sik go outside, and tells Mr. Park that he already won, and reveals that CEO Oh just wants to keep his name there for one year. But Mr. Park cannot accepts what she said.
Ha Yeon introduces Kang Seok to Mr. Park, and claims he is the best attorney in her company. But Mr. Park don’t think so, until Kang Seok thinks the merger is hostile, and thinks he lacks the basic respect to his prey as a hunter. Mr. Park warns not to pay legal fee if he keeps on acting like this. But Kang Seok claims he already got it, and shows the proof through his phone. Mr. Park leaves with temper. Ha Yeon tells Kang Seok that he shouldn’t be bluffing after knowing the money he got is just the scholarship from Congressman Jo, and reveals he can bear when anyone speaking ill of her.
Yeon Woo shows up in the room of the nightclub with his friend Soon, the client Joon Pyo wants to test his memory, and reveals he will give him a check when he guesses it right, and drinks the alcohol. But Joon Pyo places drug in his alcohol after Yeon Woo passed his tests. Yeon Woo crumbs the drug, and says that dog won’t bit his owner, but bites other dogs.
Hee shows up when Yeon Woo is drinking with Soon. Hee feels sorry to Yeon Woo as she chose Soon. She thinks he is smart and kind now. Meanwhile Soon gets a call from Joon Pyo who asks him to let Yeon Woo carry herb for him.
Geun Sik asks Ha Yeon why it always is Kang Seok since he only rests 4 hours a day. Just then Kang Seok shows up when they’re talking, and says that because he sleeps 7 hours a day. Ha Yeon ends their argues, and wants to get Kang Seok an associate because he is a senior partner now. Geun Sik is shocked after hearing what she said.
Da Ham grumbles that she has no luck in men nor money, and all she has is endless works. Kang Seok thinks his promoted won’t take too long, since she prayed against it. Da Ham asks for 18 bonus to work for him, he thinks she used the tactics he taught her on him, and has to agree when she claims that she is intention to asks for 20. She completed the contract after signing in his hand.
Yeon Woo visits his grandmother Gwi Sim at the hospital, she tells him that his hand will get dirty if he touches coal, and asks him to go avoiding nurse. The nurse tells him that his grandmother has to move out because of the bill, and asks him to get some money since she is young.
Yeon Woo tells Soon that he is going to deliver bag for him. Soon is happy after hearing what he said. Da Ham reminds Kang Seok that he has a interview, he likes her words when calling her as Senior Partner Choi. Hee wears suits for Yeon Woo, and reveals Soon asked her to do it for him, thinking it’s a interview.

Yeon Woo sees bulletin board shows that kang and ham looks for associates. Kang Seok asks Da Ham to give him a sign when interviewer recognizes the sculpture. He runs into two cleaners while he takes the suitcase the appointment room. Yeon Woo recognizes that they’re fake according to his memory, and flees. Joon Pyo calls Yeon Woo when he drops the suitcase at stairs, and tells him that he is a criminal now. Just then the cleaners target him, and asks him to stop.
Yeon Woo pretends to be a interviewer Tae Hyung, and thinks the sculpture is Kairos, the Greek god of opportunity when Da Ham asks. She signs Kang Seok, and asks Yeon Woo takes the sculpture to go inside. Kang Seok discovers that Yeon Woo takes drug, even if Yeon Woo claims he fell into a wicked trap. He invites the cleaners who are police officers to his room, and asks Yeon Woo defends for himself since he wants to be a lawyer.
Kang Seok thinks Yeon Woo’s defense was good after the police officers left, but he only needs elites. He changes his mind after seeing the interviewers staying outside are stupid. Yeon Woo throws the drugs into toilet, and read all of the law books.
Yeon Woo runs into Ji Na, and splashes dirty water on her white shirt while biking. She yells at him, and thinks he is a jerk. But he doesn’t hear what she said, and knows he is fired after visiting Kang Seok at his office.
