Sung Jin-Woo helps his team members to avoid the attack of the stone statue. But some of them are killed in episode 1. He’s scared to tells them that they will be killed. Solo Leveling Episode 2 reveals that the hunter doesn’t believe what Sung Jin-Woo said. He’s confident to rush to the gate.
But he’s killed by the stone statue. He only leaves two legs. Other hunters feel hopeless after they saw it. Sung Jin-Woo wonders why the stone statue didn’t take action since he could kill them like killing ants. He finds out that there’re some rules restraining the stone statue.
He remembers the rule of the codex that they should pay their respects to the god. He asks everyone to pay their respect to the god. The stone statue drops his laser. But he smiles and walks to the hunters. Sung Jin-Woo remembers the seconds rule that they should praise god.

Sung Jin-Woo cries because he feels hopeless. He asks Mr. Song to take Joo-Hee to leave. Because he decides to shoulder everything. Joo-Hee cries when she calls Sung Jin-Woo. She’s stunned by Mr. Song. He carries her to the gate.
