In the second episode of Rule the World Chinese Drama, Nuer Hachi accepts Dong Ge’s request, but she finds her brother Bu Yanggu wants to murder Huang Taiji after they return Yehe.
Rule the World Chinese Drama Recap: Episode 2
Dong Ge visits Nuer Hachi and persuades him to write a letter to Yehe, letting Meng Gu’s mother to see her. Nver Hachi accepts her, but lets Dong Ge visit Yehe in person. Dai Shan worries Dong Ge and runs into her in the rain. She tells him his father accepted her request, but he realizes something was wrong and wants to let his father appoint him as her fiance. Dai Shan confesses to her and gives her the jade ring, but she cannot accepts it as she isn’t sure whether or not she loves him. Dong Ge wishes him to give her some times. Dai Shan accepts it and tells her that he will be with her anytime.

Dai Shan orders Huang Taiji to protect Dong Ge as he knows the road to Yehe isn’t safe. Huang Taiji accepts it. Dai Shan gives Dong Ge a sachet which may help her sleep well. Dong Ge accepts his regard. Zhe Ying also comes and sees them off, but Dong Ge doesn’t want to see him.
Nuer Hachi visits Meng Gu asks for her condition. She says that she is ok and begs him to treat her son Huang Taiji well. Nuer Hachi accepts it and says that he is my son as well. Gui Dai tells Nuer Hachi that elder prince Zhe Ying loves Dong Ge and persuades him to appoint the wedding, but Nuer Hachi gets angry.

Huang Taiji enters Dong Ge’s coach teasing her maid. She tells him that she can appoint the wedding if he likes her. Huai Taiji says that he is the watcher of Nuer Hachi in her mind, but she denies it and says he is Meng Gu’s son and her younger brother.
Bu Yanggu sits on horse and welcomes Dong Ge, but he dislikes Huang Taiji as he is the son of Nuer Hachi. Nuer Hachi appoints the elder miss of Guo Luoluo Family to Zhe Ying, he accepts it reluctantly.
Huang Taiji asks Bu Yanggu when he can see his grandmother in the welcome dinner. Bu Yanggu lets him take it easy and persuades him to drink. Dong Ge drinks it for Huang Taiji and asks his brother to have a talk alone.
Bu Yanggu tells Dong Ge that he suspects Nuer Hachi’s intention as he didn’t reply his letter since he wrote so many letters to him to return Dong Ge. But, Dong Ge doesn’t believe it and asks about her grandmother. Bu Yanggu tells her grandmother cannot go Jianzhou with them as she is old and gets sick. However, Huang Taiji suspects what Bu Yanggu said and decides to stay in her room, taking care of Dong Ge. The next day, Huang Taiji’s room is fired, all of his servants are dead in the fire.
Dong Ge visits Bu Yanggu asking her brother the reason. Bu Yanggu makes a excuse and asks her about Huang Taiji. He orders his henchmen to kill him after knowing Huang Taiji falls asleep.
