This is the recap for Pretty Man Chinese Drama Episodes 1-2. Lu Jinnian is on the beach to look at the sea. There’s a show is going to begin. The lady Ms. Zhen is waiting for Lu Jinnian. But the guy reports to her that he couldn’t reach Lu Jinnian.
Episode 1

We find out that it’s a new drama conference. Ms. Zhen tells her assistant to do the plan B. Lu Jinnian’s assistant is driving. He persuades him to go to the conference. But Lu Jinnian insists on going to the set. The reporters interview Ms. Zhen. They ask her if Lu Jinnian is close to Lin Shiyi.
Qiao Anhao watches the interview on the set. The people talk about Lin Shiyi. They think Lin Shiyi is going to reach Song Xiangsi. One of the guys thinks Lin Shiyi is going to marry Lu Jinnian. Ms. Zhen tells the person who leaked the rumor to go to get his eyes fixed.
It makes Qiao Anhao laugh. Lin Zhiyi notes it. She knocks over Qian Anhao’s phone when she walks. She steps on the phone when Qiao Anhao tries to pick up the phone. She mentions she’s the 18th line actress. She leaves. The girl gets angry after knowing Lin Shiyi brought trouble to Qiao Anhao.
She tries to go to fight for Qiao Anhao. But Qiao Anhao stops the girl. She persuades her not to bring trouble because there’re many people on the set. But the girl thinks they should endure Lin Shiyi. She tries to leak something about Lu Jinnian. Qiao Anhao stops her.
Lin Shiyi comes back. She pours the water to the girl. She decides to teach her how to be a human since her master didn’t teach her. The girl gets angry. Qiao Anhao stops her. She tells Lin Shiyi that she and Meng Meng accepted the manner education.
It makes Lin Zhiyi know Qiao Anhao thought she has no manner. Qiao Anhao claims that she didn’t say so. The director calls Qiao Anhao Qiao Yi. We use the name from now on. Qiao Yi wipes the water off Meng Meng’s hair. Meng Meng tells Qiao Yi that she’s fine.
The filming begins. Lin Shiyi bumps Qiao Yi. She makes her papers fall. Lin Shiyi’s name is Secretary Lin and Qiao Yi’s name is Li Yimi in the drama. Secretary Lin thinks Li Yimi tried to flirt with the boss. She tries to slap her.
But Lu Jinnian stops Lin Shiyi. He asks Qiao Yi if she’s fine. Lin Shiyi is surprised that Lu Jinnian came. Meng Meng shows up. She asks Qiao Yi if she’s fine. Lin Shiyi explains it to Lu Jinnian that she got into the drama deeply.
He ignores her and he walks to the director. He asks him if he’s satisfied with the salary he paid him. He tells him that he’s not satisfied with his work. He asks him to follow the rules. He leaves. The director apologizes to Qiao Yi. He tells her that she can leave.
Qiao Yi prepares the dinner and the wine at home. She’s waiting for Lu Jinnian. He rings the doorbell and she goes to open the door. She sees him. She fails to block his way. He walks into her house and he goes to the bathroom. He washes his hands and he looks at himself in the mirror.
The two have dinner together. Qiao Yi thanks Lu Jinnian for helping her. He takes a look at the news of her and Lin Shiyi. He persuades her to change a manager. She tells him not to care for the rumor. He calls his assistant. He tells him that he doesn’t wish to see the rumor.
He hangs up and he tells Qiao Yi to let Zhao Meng visit him. He plans to arrange next drama for her. Qiao Yi worries that the people will know their relationship if Lu Jinnian arranges the drama for her. Lu Jinnian claims that he knows what to do. He drinks up the wine and he leaves.
Qiao Yi sighs. She takes a look at the wedding photo of her and her husband Jia Mu. She remembers the madam told her that Lu Jinnian is just a substitute. We see Jia Mu lying in the bed in a ward. He’s in a coma. He needs the medical equipment to support his life.
Qiao Yi keeps drinking when Lu Jinnian is taking a shower in the bathroom. He also remembers he’s just a substitute. Qian Yi takes the bottle and the glass to join Lu Jinnian after he took a shower. He sees her underwear inside her dress.
She asks him why he was cold to her. She thinks he’s changed. He tries to grab her wine when she drinks. But she stops him. She asks him when he was changed to be indifferent. He grabs her wine. It makes her not drink. She wonders if they’re the relationship if the time goes back.
She doesn’t know if she regrets or not. He drinks up the wine and he asks her about Jia Mu. She mentions every girl liked Jia Mu. She asks Lu Jinnian if she’s annoying. He tells her that everyone likes her. But she asks him why he doesn’t like her.
He turns around and he looks at her. He’s surprised. She cries to blame him for treating her in such a way. She hugs him and she tries to kiss him. He avoids her because he thinks she doesn’t have feelings for him. But he cannot endure it when she kisses his neck. He kisses her lips. They fall to the table. Lu Jinnian apologizes to Jia Mu in his heart.
Lu Jinnian wakes up in the bed. He is with Qiao Yi in the bed. They slept together last night. She falls asleep. We go back to the school time. Qiao Yi wears the glasses to run in the rain. She puts her bag on her head to cover the rain.
She joins Lu Jinnian in front of a building. He wears the earphones to listen to the music. She stares at his face. He turns around and he notes her. She smiles to greet him. But he’s cold to her. We find out that they’re in front of a flower store.
Qiao Yi picks up a leaf. She uses the leaf to cover the rain for a snail. Lu Jinnian notes it. He smiles. He sees a red mark on her clothes. He puts his clothes on her. He bikes away. She takes a look at the clothes. She smiles. Lu Jinnian is soaked to run into the store. Because he didn’t take any umbrella.
The boss Mr. Wen gives Lu Jinnian the salary. Qiao Yi returns home. She turns around and she sees herself in the mirror. She sees the red mark on her skirt. She learns the reason why the guy gave her his clothes. She washes her clothes and she dries his clothes.
Episode 2
The next day, Xu Jiamu is going to introduce a guy to Qian Anhao, and she finds out the guy is Lu Jinnian. She is interested in him since he is outstanding. Jia Mu and An Hao walks around the campus, Lin Qianqian shows up, and confesses her feelings. She got his name on her ankle, and he lies to her that Qiao Anhao is his girlfriend. So Lin Qianqian declares the war.
Lu Jinnian’s father Xu Niande visits his house, and gives him a check of compensation. But Lu Jinnian tears up the check, and remembers his mother died in the hospital.
Qiao Anhao cleans up the campus, and falls from high up. He rushes to catch her. She stares at his handsome face, and has some feelings. Qian Anyi offends a thug, and Xu Jiamu challenges the thug to play video game. The thug fails, but Xu Jiamu doesn’t ask for money, so they become good friend.
Lu Jinnian is going to walk Qian Anhao home, but her family sent the car to pick her. So he has to see her off with love, and misses her smile in the evening.
The next day, she rides a bicycle, and calls him at the campus. She rides the bicycle for him, but she doesn’t master it. So he has to hold the bicycle for her. She forces herself to eat double breakfast to stay with him more, and burps.
Lin Qianqian doesn’t give up Xu Jiamu since he saved her from the thug, and hangs up a banner to confess her love at the campus. Lu Jinnian takes Qian Anhao to walk since she has bad vision, and the teacher thinks they’re in relationship.
