Lee Hwan agrees to let Jae-Yi to come to the east palace. But he tells her that she needs to find the way on her own. Tae-Gang opens the door. He asks Lee Hwan what happened. Lee Hwan doesn’t reply to Tae-Gang. He walks away. Jae-Yi takes a look at her pass. She wipes off her tears.
Jae-Yi runs to Lee Hwan. She tells him that she will listen to his order. She walks to the maid. She introduces herself as an eunuch. She tells her that she needs to get changed. The maid lets the eunuch help Jae-Yi. The eunuch hands over the clothes to Jae-Yi. He tells her to go to get changed. He thinks she won’t stay too long in east palace.

Ga-Ram thinks Myung-Jin shouldn’t have feelings for Jae-Yi because she has a fiance. But Myung-Jin doesn’t care for it. He asks her to read the book. He finds out that she cannot read the book. He tells her to learn. But she claims that she learned a lot from her previous teacher.
Myung-Jin asks Ga-Ram to write down his name. She does it and hands over the handwriting to him. He laughs after he saw her handwriting. Jae-Yi follows the eunuchs to the east palace. But she’s lost. She runs into Princess Hayeon. Princess Hayeon takes over the tea from the maid. She tries to leave. But she trips.
Jae-Yi runs to catch Princess Hayeon. The maid tells Jae-Yi to stay away from Princess Hayeon. Jae-Yi tells Princess Hayeon that she was lost when she came to east palace. Princess Hayeon promises to take Jae-Yi to the east palace. But she asks Jae-Yi to take care of Lee Hwan.
Jae-Yi remembers her father caught her when she wore a man’s clothes. She explained to him that she did it for helping the man who has a daughter. Master Min reminded Jae-Yi that she will fight with the world if she does so. But she didn’t want to give up.
Jae-Yi arrives at the east palace. She remembers Lee Hwan told her to prove herself to him. Princess Hayeon waves at Jae-Yi. Jae-Yi runs to Princess Hayeon. Princess Hayeon tells Jae-Yi to find the way on her own. She walks into Lee Hwan’s room. She lets Jae-Yi walk into the room. She tells Lee Hwan that she ran into Jae-Yi when she couldn’t find east palace. Jae-Yi greets Lee Hwan. She mentions she found the way on her own.
The follower reports to Won-Bo that Sung-On didn’t catch the shaman. Won-Bo laughs. Princess Hayeon lets Jae-Yi pour Lee Hwan tea. Prince Myungan shows up when the eunuchs talk about Jae-Yi. He walks into Lee Hwan’s room. He gives some snacks to him. He asks him to teach something to him.
Lee Hwan promises it. But he asks Prince Myungan not to skip the class. Princess Hayeon asks Lee Hwan how did he resolve the hunting ceremony case. He reveals the case was resolved by Jae-Yi. Princess Hayeon tells Lee Hwan that she likes Jae-Yi very much.
Lee-Hwan lets Princess Hayeon take away Jae-Yi. Jae-Yi is against it. She claims that she cannot serve two masters. Princess Hayeon asks Jae-Yi about her name. Jae-Yi stares at Lee-Hwan. She wishes him to help her. He gives the name Soon-Dol to her. It makes her laugh. She thinks she was stupid to forget her name.
Princess Hayeon mentions Jae-Yi. She thinks she’s a bad woman. The guy shows Sung-On the item that the shaman Man-Shik sold it to him. The bodyguard reports to Sung-On that Man-Shik escaped last night. He asks him if he found something. Sung-On denies it when he conceals the item.
Sung-On takes a look at the item. He remembers that the item belongs to his father. He thinks it’s impossible that his father would do it to Lee-Hwan. Jae-Yi tells Lee-Hwan that she wants to find the truth to take revenge her families. She reveals she resolved the cases with her maid. He asks her to resolve the cases. He gives the book to her.
Sung-On visits Joong-Eon. He puts the item into his sleeve. He walks into Joong-Eon’s room. He reveals he didn’t catch Man-Shik. He believes that Man-Shik has a goal. Joong-Eon tells Sung-On that Man-Shik plans to let Prince Myungan replace Lee-Hwan.
Sung-On tells Joong-Eon that he wants to take Lee-Hwan’s side. But Joong-Eon points out that Lee Hwan doesn’t trust Sung-On. Tae-Gang takes Jae-Yi to the basement. He tells her that the place was used by Lee-Hwan. She finds the food.
Tae-Gang grabs Jae-Yi’s collar. He tells her that he will take her life if she wants to hurt Lee-Hwan. But she points out that Lee-Hwan keeps her because he needs her. She tears up when she stares at the food. She eats the food.
Tae-Gang goes to see Lee-Hwan. He asks him why he’s nice to Jae-Yi. Lee-Hwan tells Tae-Gang that he needs Jae-Yi like he needs him. He mentions he was a thug. He remembers Jae-Yi yelled at him that she risked her life to come to him. He thinks she didn’t lie.
Jae-Yi eats up the food. She doesn’t understand Lee-Hwan. She remembers he threw the pass to her. She thinks she passed his test. Sung-On remembers his father told him that Lee-Hwan doesn’t trust him. Jae-Yi mentions Lee-Hwan gave the food to her even if he’s a bad person. Tae-Gang tells Lee-Hwan that Jae-Yi said nothing after she had found the food. Jae-Yi tells Lee-Hwan that she knows he’s not a heartless person after she ate his food.

Episode 3 of Our Blooming Youth K-Drama ends with the bodyguard reporting to Sung-On that Jae-Yi is alive. Lee-Hwan looks at Jae-Yi when she helps him wear clothes. He tells her that he thinks she’s still the little girl. She tells him that she remembers they encountered at the valley when they were children.
