How Does Jae-Yi Find Out that Shim Young Killed Her Families?

But Ga-Ram stops Myung-Jin. Jae-Yi hands over the bracelet to Lee Hwan. Chief Bodyguard arrives. Myung-Jin tries to be close to the chancellor’s daughter. But he’s blocked the the bodyguards. Chief Bodyguard recognizes Myung-Jin. He wonders why he came to the place.
Myung-Jin reminds Chief Bodyguard that the dead body will be changed within one minute. He volunteers to check the body. But Chief Bodyguard tells Myung-Jin to step back. Jae-Yi returns to Myung-Jin’s house with the people. She thinks the lady was attacked by someone because she vomited blood.

But Lee Hwan thinks the lady was poisoned. Myung-Jin points out that the lady had no enemy. But he thinks the girl who likes him killed the lady. He mentions Jae-Yi took away the bracelet from the dead. He thinks Lee Hwan should say something.
Lee Hwan reveals the bracelet belongs to Jae-Yi. Myung-Jin is shocked to take a look at Jae-Yi’s poster. Lee Hwan hands over the bracelet to Myung-Jin. Myung-Jin thinks the case is related to Jae-Yi. But Jae-Yi thinks the lady just happened to get the bracelet.
Myung-Jin wonders why the three knew the bracelet belongs to Jae-Yi. The three explain to him that they were told by Crown Prince. Myung-Jin mistakes that Jae-Yi is Crown Prince. He gets on knees to her. He grabs her hand when he asks her for her mercy.
Lee Hwan walks Jae-Yi. He tells her that he knows Ga-Ram is her maid. He thinks Ga-Ram had no reason to recognize the bracelet. He mentions the maid would become a slave after her master broke the law. He blames her for letting Ga-Ram stay by her side.
Lee Hwan tells Jae-Yi to get Ga-Ram to go back. But she rejects it because Ga-Ram has no place to stay. She mentions she would be in jail if Ga-Ram didn’t help her. She tells him that she wants to give a house to Ga-Ram. She cries to tell him that she treats Ga-Ram as her friend.
Lee Hwan reminds Jae-Yi that she will be in danger if Ga-Ram is caught. She asks him to protect her maid as well. He asks her if her bracelet is related to the death of the lady. She’s not sure about it. She tells him to go back to see the bracelet.
Myung-Jin holds the bracelet. He thinks something isn’t right. He tells Ga-Ram that Jae-Yi is a woman. He mentions Jae-Yi’s hand was soft when he touched her hand. Ga-Ram lets Myung-Jin check her hand. He grabs her hand. He finds out that her hand is soft as well.
The bodyguard takes Sung-On to the house of Man-Sik’s sister-in-law. But the woman tells Sung-On that the madam moved to Gaeseong. He returns home and sees So-Eun praying. He asks her what she’s doing. She conceals the ring. He sees the mugwort.
Sung-On asks So-Eun if she intended to use the mugwort smell to drive away ghosts. She explains to him that she likes the spreading of the scent. He thinks she was worrying about Crown Prince. He comforts her that Crown Prince will be fine. Because he thinks his father has a way.
Sung-On tells So-Eun that Crown Prince is a good person. He believes that Crown Prince will be nice to her. He mentions women has trouble before they get married. He thinks she’s like those women. She talks back that he has trouble as well before he gets married.
So-Eun realizes that she said something wrong. She apologizes to Sung-On. She mentions his fiancee passed away. But he thinks his fiancee isn’t dead. He believes that she didn’t kill her families. So-Eun wonders why Sung-On trusts Jae-Yi since it was an arranged marriage.
Sung-On thinks he should trust Jae-Yi because the whole world is against her. So-Eun asks Sung-On if he still waits for Jae-Yi. He admits it. She tells him that Jae-Yi doesn’t have feelings for him because she didn’t look for him. She realizes that she said something wrong again. She apologizes to him.
Sung-On agrees to what So-Eun said that Jae-Yi doesn’t have feelings for him. He tells her to have a talk with him anytime. He tells her that he’s good at keeping secrets. Jae-Yi takes a look at her bracelet. She thinks the lady was killed by poison.
Lee Hwan thinks Jae-Yi’s families were killed by Shim Young. Because Shim Young gave the bracelet to Jae-Yi. Myung-Jin wonders why Shim Young killed the lady. Jae-Yi thinks it was a coincidence. Ga-Ram intends to give the evidence to the official to clear Jae-Yi’s name.
Lee Hwan is against it. He reveals Shim Young killed himself. Myung-Jin thinks Jae-Yi and Shim Young loved each other. Jae-Yi and Ga-Ram deny it. Myung-Jin wonders why the two knew it. He returns home and runs into his father An-Jik.
An-Jik mentions the death of Myung-Jin’s fiancee. Myung-Jin’s mother takes a stick to wait for Myung-Jin. She’s ready to beat her son. But she sees An-Jik. She greets him and blames Myung-Jin for not greeting her. Myung-Jin ignores his mother. He asks his father if the shaman had white hair.
An-Jik admits it. He tells something to Myung-Jin. Myung-Jin walks away after he realized something. Myung-Jin’s mother tries to chase Myung-Jin because she thinks he didn’t respect his mother. An-Jik stops his wife. Myung-Jin returns to his house. He writes something down. He realizes that the case is related to Crown Prince.
Jae-Yi walks Lee Hwan. She tells him that she wants to find out why Shim Young wanted to kill her. It makes him believe that she wants to return to her hometown with Ga-Ram. She denies it and tells him that she wants to live alone. He tells her that he will miss her when he sees the rude eunuch like her.
Man-Deok buys something. He runs into Won-Oh on the street. Won-Oh recognizes Man-Deok. He gets off the sedan chair and walks to Man-Deok. He asks him if he saw him before. Man-Deok denies it. Won-Oh walks away. Dal-Rae tries to help Bok-Soon work.
Man-Deok stops Dal-Rae. He tells him that he’s his son. Sam-Chil shows up. He tells Man-Deok that he wants to drive Myung-Jin away. He reveals he saw Jae-Yi stealing the bracelet from the dead. He thinks the people came from Byeokcheon. Man-Deok and Bok-Soon are furious to drive Sam-Chil away. Dal-Rae wonders why the people hate the people who came from Byeokcheon.
Lee Hwan visits King. He asks him to take back his order. King reminds Lee Hwan that Han family will support him if he marries So-Eun. Lee Hwan takes out the bracelet from the drawer. He grabs the bracelet tightly. King gives the snack to Jae-Yi because she passed the test.
Lee Hwan throws the bracelet into the lake. He tells Eunuch So what he threw was his heart. He runs into Sung-On. Sung-On tells Lee Hwan that he wants to tell something to him. Lee Hwan lets the servants leave. Sung-On reports to Lee Hwan that Man-Sik’s sister-in-law moved to Gaeseong when he went to see her.
Sung-On is surprised that he didn’t see Jae-Yi. He asks Lee Hwan about Jae-Yi. He reveals Jae-Yi’s leg was hurt. He asks Lee Hwan if he knew Jae-Yi looked for him with the injury. Jae-Yi tries to tell Lee Hwan that she got the snack from King.
Lee Hwan shows up. Jae-Yi conceals the snack under the desk. He reveals King talked with him about his marriage. He asks her what she wanted to say to him when he was hurt. She refuses to tell it to him because he’s going to get married.
Jae-Yi tells Lee Hwan that she forgot what she wanted to say to him. He asks her why she didn’t tell him that her leg was hurt. She thinks he didn’t have to worry about her. But he believes that she told a lie to him. She thinks she had no reason to tell him that she was hurt when he was going to die.
Lee Hwan reminds Jae-Yi that she didn’t grind the ink stick. He thinks she never felt sorry. She gets the ink to his hand by mistake. He tells her to leave. But she wants to stay with him. He tells her that he doesn’t want to see her.
Jae-Yi takes out the snack. She tells Lee Hwan that she wanted to share the snack with him. She tells him to enjoy the snack. She leaves his room and cleans up the floor of the library. She remembers what he told her that he’s going to get married.
The chancellor refuses to let the coroner touch his daughter’s body because his daughter didn’t get married. Eunuch So reports it to Lee Hwan. Tae-Gang tells Lee Hwan that Han-Su got the money from Jo family. Lee Hwan tells Tae-Gang to bring the evidence to him.
Tae-Gang asks Lee Hwan what he wants to do if he knows the people of Byeokcheon were wronged. Lee Hwan reveals he wants to clear the people of Byeokcheon’s name if they were wronged. He tells Tae-Gang to look for a house for him. Jae-Yi takes a look at her bracelet. She wonders why Shim Young killed her families.
