Nan Nan asks Zheng Shuyi if she contacted Shi Yan. Zheng Shuyi chooses to trust Shi Yan. She texts Shi Yan and she asks him to reply to her. He sends an e-mail to Tang Yi. He accepts the article. Tang Yi is happy to tell the good news to the employees. She tells them to complete the rest work.
Zheng Shuyi texts Chen Sheng. She thanks him for working overtime. But he tells her that Shi Yan is working overtime. She sends a message to Shi Yan. She thanks him for working hard. But he doesn’t reply to her. She realizes that he likes sweet lines.
She goes to the bed. She takes a look at her phone. She remembers what Bi Ruoshan told her that Shi Yan bullied her because he likes her. She sends a message to Shi Yan. She tells him that she won’t give up. He reads her message. He smiles.
Bi Ruoshan arrives at the cafe. She gets a message from a guy who asks for a meeting up. But she rejects it because she has a business. She joins Zheng Shuyi. She finds out that Situ Yi doesn’t come. She complains to Zheng Shuyi that Situ Yi likes to be late like before.
Zheng Shuyi thinks Situ Yi has a reason to do that because she’s a celebrity. Bi Ruoshan thinks celebrities are rich. She realizes why Zheng Shuyi cares for digital magazine. Situ Yi shows up. She promises to buy the meal. Bi Ruoshan thinks Situ Yi should do so because she’s late.
She tells Zheng Shuyi to order the dishes. Zheng Shuyi thinks Situ Yi is pretty. But Situ Yi points out that Zheng Shuyi is pretty as well. She thinks she’s a chief editor. Zheng Shuyi reveals she’s still a reporter. Situ Yi is surprised that Zheng Shuyi didn’t change her job.
She tells her to focus on new media. But Zheng Shuyi thinks she won’t get kicked out if she has good content. Chen Kang has a meeting with Bruce. He asks him to join his team. But Bruce rejects it because he thinks Chen Kang isn’t match for him.
Shi Yan persuades Bruce to accept the challenge. But Bruce points out that he cannot complete the tasks alone. Shi Yan promises to help Bruce build the top team. But Bruce needs some time to think about it. Shi Yan claims that he won’t give up his goal no matter what Bruce’s decision is.
Situ Yi thinks Zheng Shuyi still gets together with Yue Xingzhou. Zheng Shuyi reveals she has broken up with Yue Xingzhou. Situ Yi leaks that Yue Xingzhou flirted with her when he chased Zheng Shuyi. She adds that she accompanied Yue Yingzhou before he got Zheng Shuyi.
Bi Ruoshan walks Zheng Shuyi on the street. She blames Situ Yi for bringing up the past. But Zheng Shuyi agrees to what Situ Yi said that she needs to improve the digital magazine. Bi Ruoshan tells Zheng Shuyi to focus on Shi Yan. But Zheng Shuyi tells Bi Ruoshan that she’s going to get the both.
Zheng Shuyi texts Shi Yan. She asks him to come to pick up her. He sees her when he’s in the car. Bi Ruoshan thinks Zheng Shuyi was crazy to send the message. But Zheng Shuyi points out that Shi Yan doesn’t read the message. She sees Shi Yan’s car. The two girls are shocked.
Shi Yan gives the two ladies a ride. Bi Ruoshan asks Mr. Fan to drop her. Zheng Shuyi gets off the car with Bi Ruoshan. She explains to her that she got off the car because she saw her getting off the car. Bi Ruoshan tells Zheng Shuyi that she got off the car for leaving the space for her and Shi Yan.
She thinks she should catch the chance. But Zheng Shuyi didn’t wish to see Shi Yan’s terrible face. Bi Ruoshan mentions Zheng Shuyi brought up a man in front of Shi Yan. She thinks Shi Yan was jealous. She believes that Zheng Shuyi knows nothing about language art.
She swears to leave love place if Zheng Shuyi can get Shi Yan in such away. Zheng Shuyi doesn’t believe that Shi Yan would be jealous of Chen Sheng. Chen Sheng calls Shi Yan. He intends to arrange dinner for him. But Shi Yan rejects it. Because he thinks Chen Sheng is very busy.
Chen Sheng is confused. Zheng Shuyi texts Shi Yan. She asks him if he was jealous. He texts her back and he asks her if she’s free. Bi Ruoshan tells Zheng Shuyi not to reply to Shi Yan. But Zheng Shuyi replies to Shi Yan by mistake.

Bi Ruoshan tells Zheng Shuyi to let Shi Yan think about her. She leaves. Guan Ji takes Qin Shiyue to the bar. He thinks Shi Yan will kill him if he knows he took her to the place. He tells Qin Shiyue to drink up the wine. So he can take her home.

Episode 7 of Only for Love Chinese Drama ends with Zheng Shuyi returning to her office. She sees the invitation on her desk. She asks Qin Shiyue who placed the invitation on her desk. Qin Shiyue reveals it was her. She tells Zheng Shuyi not to thank her. Because she thinks she should do so.
