The girl mentions Chief Editor recommended Xu Yuling. She thinks Xu Yuling is the queen of the magazine. Xu Yuling decides to catch the chance because Chief Editor gave the task to her. The girl persuades Zheng Shuyi not to study the paper because Shi Yan has flied away.
Zheng Shuyi thinks Shi Yan isn’t a ordinary person. She decides to improve her paper. The girl thinks Zheng Shuyi’s brain was hurt after she lost the interview chance. She reminds her that Shi Yan won’t come back. She reveals Chief Editor called Shi Yan’s company. She thinks method is more important than talent.
Zheng Shuyi thinks she needs to improve her talent since she doesn’t have trick. The girl wonders if Shi Yan is handsome. The assistant reports to Shi Yan that the reporter Xu Yuling is going to interview him. But Shi Yan remembers he didn’t choose Xu Yuling.

The guy of Lie Ying promises to help Shi Yan. But Shi Yan is interested in the goal of Lie Ying. He mentions Lie Ying didn’t improve himself. The guy mentions Lie Ying took hard time with Yun Chuang. Shi Yan understands what the guy said. But he points out that Lie Ying needs to come up with a plan to improve the company.
President Li is furious to leave the meeting room. Shi Yan tells Chen Sheng that he’s going to help him. He promises to visit his company Le An. Director Feng reminds Shi Yan that President Li is an old friend of his father.
Why Shi Yan Asks Zheng Shuyi to Arrange the Interview Time?
He thinks he cannot convince the shareholders if he chooses Le An. Shi Yan blames Director Feng for not arranging the meeting well. He gets a call from Qin Shiyue who mentions he promised to pick her up. She thinks he doesn’t love her anymore.
The assistant reports to Shi Yan that Guan Ji wishes him to attend the party. He reveals Guang Ji is going to introduce an important person to Shi Yan. Shi Yan gets a message from Guan Ji. He finds out that the one Guang Ji wants to introduce is Yu You.
Shi Yan agrees to attend the party. He tells the assistant to tell the magazine to arrange the time. Zheng Shuyi gets a call from her boyfriend Xing Zhou who thinks she won’t work overtime. But she tells him that she needs to interview Shi Yan.
She apologizes to him. But he tells her that he understands her. He tells her to catch the chance. She thanks him and she thinks he’s the best man. She promises to complete the interview within two hours. The girl walks into the restroom.
She wonders if Zheng Shuyi’s boyfriend complained. Zheng Shuyi denies it. She reveals her boyfriend promised to come to pick her up. She gets a call from the director Chen Sheng. He reveals Shi Yan asked for arranging another time. He hangs up. She texts Shan Shan and she asks her to look into where Shi Yan is going to go.
Episode 1 of Only for Love ends with Zheng Shuying going to look for Xing Zhou. But she sees him walking out of the hospital with a girl. She thinks the girl is Xing Zhou’s friend. But she sees Xing Zhou kissing the girl. Her umbrella drops.
