This is the Recap & Ending for One Dollar Lawyer K-Drama: Episode 7. Sang-Gu walks into the room. He cries when he intends to end his life with the rope. He takes out his phone and takes a look at his family photo. He calls someone and asks him to keep the promise when he stands on the chair. He kills himself.
Does Sang-Gu Kill Himself?

Joo-Young reports to Hyun-Mu that Ji-Hun arrested Ki-Tae for ruining the evidence. Hyun-Mu believes Ji-Hun found evidence. He asks her about Ji-Hun. Young-Joon tells Hyun-Mu that Ji-Hun is very stubborn. Joo-Young watches the interview of Ji-Hun. He claims that he wants to guard the justice.
Young-Joon calls Ki-Hwan. He tells him that he wishes Ki-Tae to do a written investigation. He asks him about Min-Hyeok. Ki-Hwan tells his followers that they will let Ki-Tae do a written investigation. Ji-Hun is against. Ki-Hwan asks Ji-Hun if he wants to end the investigation until he finds Sang-Gu.
Ji-Hun talks back that it’s Ki-Hwan’s plan. Ki-Hwan is furious to tell Ji-Hun to find Sang-Gu. Min-Hyeok takes Ji-Hun away. Ki-Hwan scolds Ye-Jin for not managing Ji-Hun well. She walks out of his office. Min-Hyeok asks her if she got scolded.
Ye-Jin admits it. She asks Min-Hyeok if he plans to bring trouble. He points out the everyone knows Ki-Tae did something bad. He asks her if they should let Ki-Tae get what he wants. She’s furious to deny it. She tries to walk away. It makes him smile. He asks her where she wants to go. She tells him that she wants to find her conscience. He’s happy to follow her.
Ji-Hun takes a look at the recording pen. He listens to the recording. He asks Sang-Gu’s wife if her husband had given the pen to her before he disappeared. She admits it and believes that her husband found the evidence. She asks Ji-Hun to find her husband because the kids need their father. He promises it.
Ye-Jin walks into Ji-Hun’s office. She tells him that he only has one chance to deal with Ki-Tae. He thinks it’s enough. Ki-Tae stays in the car with Joo-Young. He complains to her that she didn’t do her lawyer job well. She reminds him that he just needs to show up for one time. She tells him to pretend to know nothing when Ji-Hun asks him about the case.
Joo-Young asks Ki-Tae if he concealed something from her. It makes him believe that she doesn’t trust him. She admits it. She tells him that she won’t help him if he stabs her from her back. He tells her that he didn’t conceal what he did from her.
Ji-Hun walks into the interrogation room to question Ki-Tae. Ki-Tae claims the he didn’t hurt Sang-Gu. But Ji-Hun asks Ki-Tae if he told Sang-Gu to take his life. Ki-Tae denies it because he knows Ji-Hun doesn’t have the evidence.
Ki-Tae claims that he cared for Sang-Gu very much after he had stolen the money. Ji-Hun shows the money Ki-Tae gave to Sang-Gu’s wife. Ki-Tae explains that he did it to Sang-Gu because he was his employee. Ji-Hun walks to Ki-Tae that he committed a crime if he told Sang-Gu to end his life.
Ki-Tae remembers he told Sang-Gu to end his life with a rope when Sang-Gu promised to take the duty for him. Joo-Young asks Ji-Hun to let her stay with Ki-Tae for a while. Ki-Tae admits to Joo-Young that he asked Sang-Gu to kill himself. He thinks Ji-Hun doesn’t have the evidence. But Ki-Tae and Joo-Young hear the recording Ji-Hun plays. Joo-Young tells Ki-Tae that he will be a killer if Sang-Gu killed himself. He’s scared after he heard what she had said.
It flashes back. Ji-Hun finds Sang-Gu before he killed himself. He stops him and tells him that he won’t solve the problem even if he kills himself. Sang-Gu reveals he worried that Ki-Tae will kill him if he’s alive. Ji-Hun disagrees to what Sang-Gu said. He tells him that Ki-Tae wishes him to be alive. He asks him to make a choice between death and duty.
Ki-Tae is arrested after he was found to force Sang-Gu to kill himself. Ki-Tae asks Joo-Young to help her when she walks him. She reminds him that silence is the best choice to him before he sees the judge. They run into Sang-Gu in the lobby.
Sang-Gu greets Ki-Tae. Ki-Tae walks to Sang-Gu. He shakes hands with him and thanks him for saving him. He turns around and asks Joo-Young if he won’t be a killer. She nods. He praises Sang-Gu for what he did. He asks him if he’s fine. Sang-Gu is confused to nod.
Ji-Hun shows up behind Ki-Tae. He remembers he told Sang-Gu not to kill himself. He walks away. Joo-Young sees Ji-Hun. She reports to someone that Sang-Gu is alive. Ki-Tae walks out of the building after he was arrested. He’s happy to tell the reporters that he admits to the charges. He thinks it’s nothing when comparing to killing. He gets on the bus.
Joo-Young takes Ji-Hun to the bar. She mentions she promised to buy him a drink. She thinks he didn’t defeat her because Ki-Tae replaced her with another lawyer. But he points out that he would defeat her as well if she was the lawyer. She agrees to what he said.
Ji-Hun tells Joo-Young to order some food when she asks the bar owner for the wine. She offers to order dried pollack. She thinks he didn’t eat the food before. He tells her that he ate it ever. She hands over the dried pollack to him when she eats. He places the dried pollack on the table.
Ji-Hun smiles when Joo-Young asks him if she looks like a lawyer. He stares at her when she teaches him how to eat dried pollack. He takes over the dried pollack from her. He tastes the food and thinks it’s very delicious. He tells her that he wants to find out where Ki-Tae got the money.

Ji-Hun walks to the vending machine. He tries to buy a cup of coffee. But Joo-Young buys him coffee. She tells him that she did it because she thought they’re friends. She asks him about his weekend plan. It makes him smile. She mentions it was his second smile. She asks him to go out with her if he smiles the third time.
Ma-Ri wonders what happens later. It makes Ye-Jin believe that Ma-Ri has feelings for Ji-Hun. Ma-Ri laughs to deny it. Ye-Jin drinks with Ma-Ri. She reveals Ji-Hun continued with the investigation because Ki-Tae didn’t confess. Ji-Hun meets with Sang-Gu in the jail. Sang-Gu reveals he didn’t saw who laundered the money. He adds that there was a car waiting for him when he arrived at the place. Ji-Hun asks Sang-Gu if he saw the licence plate. Sang-Gu denies it. Ji-Hun tries to leave. But he stops. He reminds Sang-Gu that the person saw him. Sang-Gu agrees to what Ji-Hun said.
One Dollar Lawyer K-Drama: Episode 7 Ending
Episode 7 of One Dollar Lawyer K-Drama ends with the chief prosecutor telling his followers that they need to make Yoon-Sub confess that he took the money on his own. Ji-Hun lets Yoon-Sub hear what the chief prosecutor said through the bug he set up in the room.
