What Happens In My Lovely Liar Episode 8?

But Do-Ha tells Sol-Hee that he didn’t do that. She feels happy. But the spirit tells her that the man told her a lie. She’s stunned. Do-Ha asks Sol-Hee what happened. Deuk-Chan breaks into the cafe. He blames Do-Ha for not picking up his phone.
Deuk-Chan tells Do-Ha that he came to the cafe because he didn’t find him in his house. He sees Sol-Hee. He greets her and he tries to take Do-Ha away. But Do-Ha refuses to leave because he’s talking with Sol-Hee. But Sol-Hee tells him that they can talk about it later.
Deuk-Chan takes Do-Ha home. Do-Ha turns on the light. Deuk-Chan asks Do-Ha about him and Sol-Hee’s talk. He thinks the girl asked him if he killed a person. He leaks that Syaon told it to Sol-Hee. He complains to him that he almost had a car accident after he heard the bad news.
Deuk-Chan thinks Syaon is a troublemaker. He tells Do-Ha that Syaon isn’t a problem because he knows the idol will help him. But he worries about Sol-Hee. He tells Do-Ha to move out because he worries that Sol-Hee will report him. But Do-Ha doesn’t believe Sol-Hee will do that.
Deuk-Chan mentions how did the people hurt Do-Ha. But Do-Ha still chooses to trust Sol-Hee. Sol-Hee still stays at the cafe. She doesn’t believe that Do-Ha is a murderer. But she worries that the guy told a lie to her. Deuk-Chan plans to let Sol-Hee sign a contract.
But Do-Ha tells Deuk-Chan that he intended to confess it to Sol-Hee even if Syaon didn’t leak it. He thinks he doesn’t need the contract. He tells Deuk-Chan that he won’t move out. Deuk-Chan wonders why Do-Ha wanted to tell his secret to Sol-Hee. He thinks he has feelings for the girl.
Do-Ha admits it. Deuk-Chan tells Do-Ha to think about Syaon and his mother. But Do-Ha doesn’t want to do that. Deuk-Chan is hurt by Do-Ha’s words. Do-Ha comforts Deuk-Chan that it won’t happen. Deuk-Chan tells Do-Ha not to trust Sol-Hee. He yells at him.
Sol-Hee searches Do-Ha’s news. She learns that he changed his testimonies and told the police that the girl killed herself. She remembers what he told her that he had a hard time because of a girl. She gets a call from Do-Ha. But she doesn’t pick up his phone.
Chi-Hoon asks Sol-Hee if Syaon is their VIP when she’s making coffee. He asks her about the case. She thinks he didn’t sleep for asking her the question. He’s surprised that she knows it. He wonders if his skin looks dry. But she tells him that her skin looks more drier than him because she didn’t sleep as well.
Sol-Hee takes over the chocolate from Chi-Hoon. She eats the chocolate. She tells him that Syaon isn’t their VIP. She adds that Syaon won’t come back. But he doesn’t believe what she said. He promises not to tell it to anyone. She tells him that it was a nutcase. It makes Cassandra laugh.
Deuk-Chan meets with Syaon. He wonders how did she find out that Do-Ha killed a person. She reveals she found out that Do-Ha looked familiar a week ago. He wonders why she didn’t report it to him. She explains to him that she thought Do-Ha would feel uncomfortable if he knew it.
Syaon tells Deuk-Chan that she intended to take the secret to her grave. But she told the secret to Sol-Hee when she saw the girl tangling her lover. Deuk-Chan yells at Syaon that she crossed the line. He reminds her that nobody will listen to her songs if they know Do-Ha is a killer.
Syaon thinks Do-Ha is in anger. Deuk-Chan tells Syaon not to call Sol-Hee. Sol-Hee gets a message from Do-Ha who asks her to call him. She agrees to it. But she sighs. Cassandra tells Sol-Hee to go home because there’s no client. But Sol-Hee wants to work.
Do-Ha remembers he told Eom-Ji to die when she threatened to kill herself. The madam reports to Gang-Min that her daughter asked her to send the money to her with a strange phone. The madam’s daughter shows up. She blames her mother for getting tricked.
Gang-Mi remembers he protected Sol-Hee when she got beaten by her mother. Police Officer Hwang invites Gang-Mi to go to Sol-Hee’s cafe with him. But Gang-Mi rejects it. Do-Ha walks into Sol-Hee’s cafe. He tells Sol-Hee that he wants to drink tea.
Sol-Hee brings the tea to Do-Ha. He tries to confess what he did to her. But he notes that she searched his news. She’s startled to turn over the tea. It burns his hand. Sol-Hee uses the ice bag to treat Do-Ha’s hand. She explains to him that she checked the news because she was interested in the case.

Do-Ha tells Sol-Hee that he understands what she did. She asks him if he killed the girl or not again. He realizes that the spirit told her that it was a lie. She admits it and thinks she was wrong. She asks him to tell it to her again.
Do-Ha tells Sol-Hee that he didn’t kill the girl. But the spirit still tells her that it was a lie. She’s startled. The ice chunks fall to the floor. Sol-Hee blames Do-Ha for telling her a lie. She yells at him and asks him to make an excuse.
Do-Ha refuses to do it because he worries that Sol-Hee will treat it as a lie. He leaves her cafe. She eats at the restaurant alone. She remembers he peels the shrimp for her. He’s on the balcony. He takes a look at her balcony. He thinks she didn’t come back because the room is dark.
Sol-Hee calls Do-Ha. She tells him that she drinks because of him. She wonders why the shrimp tastes terrible since it’s the same shrimp. She tells him that the shrimp he peeled for her was delicious. She thinks something happened to him.
Do-Ha wants to come to Sol-Hee’s place. But she rejects it. She asks him for telling her the truth over the phone. He reminds her that she will fear to hear the answer. Sol-Hee is drunk to walk on the street. She runs into the couple who have a fight.
The girl thinks she’s clean because the guy has slept with twenty women. Sol-Hee thinks it’s not a problem. She tells the girl to let the man’s past go. It makes the man want to beat Sol-Hee. His girlfriend stops him. Sol-Hee tells the man that she’s jealous of him and his girlfriend.
The man tells Sol-Hee to shut her mouth if she wants to watch them fight. Do-Ha blocks the man’s way. The man is taken away by his girlfriend. Do-Ha reaches out his hand to Sol-Hee. He gives her a ride. She wonders how did he find her.
Do-Ha points out that there was no bar where he peeled shrimp for her. He takes her home. She invites him to have some hangover soup with her. He asks her if she will be fine when she eats with him. But she points out that they had many meals together.
Do-Ha thinks Sol-Hee worries that what he says are lies. He believes that she cannot hear her lies. She yells at him that her head is going to be ruined because of his lies. She complains it to him that she cannot ignore it if what he says is a lie.
Why Yeon-Mi Wishes to Send Do-Ha to Germany?
Yeon-Mi gives a speech to the people. She tells them that she’s a single mother who raised her kid alone. But she remembers his son thought she gained many votes through using the image of single mother. She’s happy to see the guests off after the meeting.
The assemblywoman hands over the water to Yeon-Mi. She tells her not to put the party leader’s words into her mind. But Yeon-Mi wants to give up because the party leader supports someone else. But the assemblywoman tells Yeon-Mi that she’s going to support her. It makes Yeon-Mi happy.
But the assemblywoman tells Yeon-Mi not to let her son bring trouble. She thinks she will win if she can handle it. Yeon-Mi calls Deuk-Chan. She asks him for a meeting up. He arrives at the cafe. She tells him that she intends to send Do-Ha to Germany.
Yeon-Mi mentions Do-Ha didn’t go to Germany because of Deuk-Chan. She thinks Deuk-Chan doesn’t need Do-Ha anymore because his company has grown. He realizes that the election is going to begin. He promises to help Do-Ha go to Germany.
Yeon-Mi feels happy after she got Deuk-Chan’s promise. But they don’t know Eom-Ho is watching them. Eom-Ho smiles. Do-Ha lies on the couch. He gets a call from Syaon. He meets with her. She apologizes to him for what she did. He wonders how did she find the cafe.
Syaon reveals she found the cafe when she waited for Do-Ha. She promises to go back to the cafe and tell Sol-Hee that she was mistaken. But he tells her not to tell a lie. He adds that he doesn’t live at the place anymore. He refuses to leak where he lives.
Do-Ha decides to leave Syaon’s house because he has nothing to say to her. She realizes that he moved out because Sol-Hee feared him. She tells him not to be upset because of Sol-Hee. She doesn’t care for it no matter what he did.
It makes Do-Ha realizes that Syaon thinks he killed the girl. He leaves her house. Sol-Hee sighs when she sits at the cafe. Cassandra thinks Sol-Hee should take a break. Chi-Hoon tells Sol-Hee that Do-Ha isn’t match for her. He thinks the guy likes lovely girls.
Chi-Hoon points out that Sol-Hee is a cool girl. He thinks she cannot defeat Syaon. Cassandra drags Chi-Hoon aside. Bo-Ro brings the breads to Sol-Hee. He thanks her for helping him get his sales back. He tells her that the breads aren’t leftovers.
Bo-Ro tells Sol-Hee to give one of the breads to Do-Ha. He wonders why he doesn’t see Do-Ha since Do-Ha always stayed with Sol-Hee. Sol-Hee tastes the bread. She finds out that the bread is very sweet. She walks out of her cafe.
Cassandra chases Sol-Hee. She tells her that she worries about her. But Sol-Hee claims that she’s fine. Cassandra shows the phone Sol-Hee left. She thinks she’s not fine. But Sol-Hee claims that she’s fine. She takes over her phone from Cassandra. She gives the bread to her.
How Does Sol-Hee Know Gang-Min Has Cancer?
Sol-Hee arrives at the hospital. She sees Gang-Min walking into the cancer center. The nurse tells Gang-Min to wait in the treatment room. Sol-Hee shows up. She asks the nurse about Gang-Min’s illness. She learns that Gang-Min has a cancer.
Sol-Hee gets a call from the client. She tells him that she’s going to come. The doctor tells Gang-Mi that everything looks good after he saw his medical report. The chairman’s son comes to the hospital to see the chairman.
The chairman’s son is surprised to see Sol-Hee. Because he never saw her before. Sol-Hee introduces herself as the chairman’s secretary. She explains to the guy that she came because she heard the chairman had a surgery. The chairman asks his son if his surgery went well.
The chairman’s son admits it. Sol-Hee knows the guy told his father a lie. The doctor shows up. He also tells the chairman a lie. Sol-Hee reports to the chairman that the doctor and his family told him lies. She asks him what he will do.
The chairman chooses to ignore it. Sol-Hee wonders why contacted her. He reminds her that she can feel the sincerity behind the lies. Gang-Min tries to leave the hospital. Sol-Hee stops him. He hides his medical report and asks her why she came to the hospital.
Sol-Hee asks Gang-Min the same question. He tells a lie to her that he came to the hospital to see someone. She knows he told her a lie. She tries to leave. He stops her and asks her to have dinner with him. She agrees to it. He’s happy to leave.
Do-Ha plays the piano at the bar. Joong-Kyu shows up. He thinks Do-Ha had a fight with Sol-Hee. He tells him to make up with the girl and take the girl to the bar. But Do-Ha cannot do it because his past. O-Baek goes to the convenience store to buy Bo-Ro and Cho-Rok snacks.
But he and Cho-Bok’s love photo falls to the floor. Bo-Ro sees it. He thinks the two are in love. Both Cho-Bok and O-Baek deny it. Cho-Bok tries to burn the love photo. But O-Baek takes the photo away. Sol-Hee goes to Deuk-Chan’s office.
Deuk-Chan places the contract on the table. He asks Sol-Hee to sign the contract. He worries that the company will suffer if people know what Do-Ha did. She promises not to tell it to others. But he doesn’t trust her. She agrees to sign it. She asks him if Do-Ha will come back or not.
Deuk-Chan denies it. He tells Sol-Hee that Do-Ha is going to go to Germany. She leaves his office. He calls Do-Ha and learns that he returned home. He goes to see him and blames him for not telling it to him that he returned home.
Episode 8 of My Lovely Liar ends with Do-Ha calling Eom-Ho. But Sol-Hee takes him to hide. She takes him to run to another place. She spots Eom-Ho. She asks Do-Ha if Eom-Ho is the guy who looks for him. Eom-Ho leaves. Do-Ha thinks Sol-Hee shouldn’t come to his place. He worries that Eom-Ho would hurt Sol-Hee.
