This is the review for My Lovely Liar K-Drama: Episode 12. Sol-Hee is waiting for Do-Ha at the cafe. Chi-Hoon returns to the cafe with Cassandra. He wonders why she wasn’t surprised after she was told that Do-Ha is the songwriter.
Hyang-Sook Tells Sol-Hee to Break Up with Do-Ha
Cassandra explains to Chi-Hoon that she had an inkling. He wonders if she had an inking that Do-Ha killed the girl. Sol-Hee yells at Chi-Hoon that Do-Ha isn’t a murderer. She reveals the spirit told it to her. Chi-Hoon tells Sol-Hee to tell people that she’s the liar hunter. He thinks she can help Do-Ha if she does so.
Hyang-Sook is against it. She reminds Sol-Hee that nobody will tell a lie to her if she does so. She tells her to break up with Do-Ha. Sol-Hee mentions what Hyang-Sook told her to date a rich man. She points out that Do-Ha is a rich man.
But Hyang-Sook doesn’t wish Sol-Hee to date a murderer. Sol-Hee yells at her mother that her boyfriend isn’t a murderer. But Hyang-Sook points out that everyone thinks Sol-Hee is the murderer’s girlfriend. But Sol-Hee doesn’t care for it. She yells at her mother that she won’t break up with Do-Ha.
Cho-Rok complains to Bo-Ro that there’s no customer coming to her bakery. O-Baek shows up. He tells Bo-Ro that he didn’t expect that Do-Ha is a murderer. But Cho-Rok doesn’t think Do-Ha isn’t a murder because Do-Ha dated Sol-Hee. Bo-Ro remembers Do-Ha helped him. He tells O-Baek that he trusts Do-Ha.
Do-Ha Decides to Go to Look for the Real Culprit
Do-Ha tells Sol-Hee that he’s going to go to Hakcheon because he has found something out. But she’s against it because she think Hakcheon people has known that he’s the culprit. She wants to join him. But he rejects it because he doesn’t want to get her involved.
Do-Ha worries that Sol-Hee won’t stay quiet. She promises to stay quiet. But he knows she told a lie to him. He hugs her and tells her to pretend nothing happened. She agrees to it. But she asks him to come back safely. Gang-Min tries to take Eom-Ho to leave the police station.
Eom-Ho asks Gang-Min about his sister’s case. Gang-Min doesn’t know it because he’s not in charge of the case. Eom-Ho tells Gang-Min to go to read his notebook. He tells him not to trust the cops who come from Hakcheon. He’s thrown into the police car.
Gang-Min returns to the police station. He gets the notebook from the cop. The coach leaves after she trained Syaon. Syaon reads the comments. She finds out that the fan badmouthed Do-Ha. She tries to fight it back for Do-Ha. But she realizes what she does will only provoke the fans.
Syaon finds out that Chi-Hoon supported Do-Ha. She takes a look at the guy’s social media. She learns that he wishes to be her bodyguard. She’s very happy. Deuk-Chan finds out that his secretary posted an article that they’re going to sue Do-Ha.
Deuk-Chan is furious to throw a fit to the secretary. He texts Do-Ha and asks him about his whereabouts. He gets a call from the lawyer who tells him that his wife wants to get a divorce with him. Do-Ha arrives at the market. He remembers Jae-Chan told him that Yong-Guk’s wife owns a snack bar at the market.
Do-Ha goes to see Yong-Guk’s wife. He asks her about her husband’s whereabouts. But the woman doesn’t want to see him. Gang-Min reads the notebook Eom-Ho left. He finds out that there’s a witness. He gets a call from Sol-Hee. She meets with him at a beef barbecue restaurant.
Sol-Hee tells Gang-Min that he bought him the meal for thanking him for saving her life. But he knows she wants to ask him about Do-Ha’s case. He tells her that they cannot find the real culprit. She thinks the case will end. But he tells her that he doesn’t trust Do-Ha.
Gang-Min mentions someone put the pressure on the police. But Sol-Hee thinks it cannot prove that Do-Ha killed Eom-Ji. Gang-Min tells Sol-Hee that Do-Ha will be treated as a suspect if they cannot find the real culprit. He asks her if she will be fine that her boyfriend is a suspect.
Yeon-Mi calls Jin-Hyuk when he’s taking care of his daughter in the hospital. She promises to arrange a better hospital for him if he helps Do-Ha. He comforts her that Do-Ha denied it and there’s no solid evidence. The party leader walks into Yeon-Mi’s office. He tells her to drop out. But she rejects it because she thinks she’s going to win.
Hyang-Sook goes to the forest. She tells Tae-Seob that Sol-Hee is seeing someone. She complains to him that the guy is a murderer. Sol-Hee tells Cassandra that she’s going to welcome next customer. But she sees Moo-Jin. He tells her that he has known that she’s dating Do-Ha.
Sol-Hee lets Moo-Jin have a seat. She tells him what she said are true. But he shows the photo that Do-Ha carries her. He’s going to post the photo to ruin her business. But she tells him that she’s fine even if he doesn’t so. Chi-Hoon catches the chance to remove the photo.
Moo-Jin tells Sol-Hee a lie that he has other photos. But she tells him that she’s a liar hunter. He asks her to return the money to him. But she points out that his photo is gone. She thinks he cannot hurt her anymore. She reminds him that he would be killed if Do-Ha was a killer. He’s scared to run out of her cafe.
Do-Ha goes to see the guy. He asks him about Yong-Guk’s whereabouts. The guy mistakes that Do-Ha wants to take revenge. But Do-Ha denies it. The guy reveals Yong-Guk went to the bank Eom-Ji worked even if she passed away. Sol-Hee tells Cassandra and Chi-Hoon that she wants to close the cafe.
Sol-Hee doesn’t think she can work well when she worries about Do-Ha. She leaves the cafe. Hyang-Sook walks Tae-Seob on the street. She tells him to go to persuade his daughter. But he wants to wait until he hears Sol-Hee out. They arrive at the cafe. Hyang-Sook finds out that the cafe was closed.
Tae-Seob tries to leave since his daughter’s cafe was closed. But Hyang-Sook stops him when she calls him husband. Tae-Seob reminds her that they have gotten a divorce. He tells her not to pretend nothing happened. She mistakes that he’s going to go to see the young lady.
My Lovely Liar K-Drama: Episode 12 Review
Episode 12 of My Lovely Liar makes Do-Ha brave in the end. He doesn’t fear the people anymore. He tells the reporters who he is and why he concealed himself. Sol-Hee also chooses to trust him. But Hyang-Sook doesn’t want to get a murderer son-in-law. She visits her husband in the forest. She asks him to persuade his daughter.
