Cheng Yao Mistakes that Qian Heng Is Constipated

Wu Jun reveals Cheng Xi gave him 500 Yuan. Qian Heng complains to Wu Jun that he lost his body. Wu Jun asks Qian Heng to keep the secret from others. He mentions he cannot remember what happened. He cannot ask Cheng Xi about it. It makes Qian Heng laugh.
Wu Jun tells Qian Heng to be nice to Cheng Yao before he gets Cheng Xi. He tells him not to bring trouble to him. But Qian Heng points out that it proves that he looks down on females if he takes care of Cheng Yao. Cheng Yao watches Wu Jun and Qian Heng stay in the office.
She asks Tan Ying if Qian Heng has any hobby. Tan Ying reminds Cheng Yao that it’s very dangerous to look into her boss’s secret. Qian Heng sits on the toilet. He finds out that it doesn’t work to cure his insomnia. He walks out of the bathroom and he returns to his room.
Cheng Yao sees what Qian Heng did. She thinks he has a secret he cannot tell others. He returns to the bathroom. He finds out that she has prepared a toilet mat for him. She prepares a constipation medicine for him. But he throws away the medicine.
Qian Heng Finds Out that Cheng Yao Is Tailing Him
Cheng Yao finds out that Qian Heng walked out of his house in the evening. She thinks he has a business. She tails him. But she cannot reach him because he runs too fast. She takes a break when she sits on the bench. She believes that she got found out.
He returns and asks her what she’s doing. She reveals she’s running. He wonders why she wore a nightgown to run. She explains to him that she couldn’t sleep. He asks her to run with him. But she rejects it because she has reached her goal.
He asks her to stop looking into him. She complains to him that he treated her as a stalker. She claims that she cared for him. He tells her not to waste her time on him. She explains to him that she did so for making him happy. She believes that he will let her take part in the case if he’s happy.
She tells him that she wishes to do some valuable things. He tells her to go to see the client tomorrow. She thanks him and he promises to work hard. The client comes to Qian Heng’s company. Qian Heng introduces Cheng Yao as his assistant lawyer to the client. The client takes off her sunglasses. Cheng Yao finds out that the client is Bai Xingmeng.

Episode 5 of My Boss 2024 ends with Cheng Yao walking out of the office with Qian Heng. She’s surprised that he knew how to care for people. He asks her to go home to cook. He mentions her meal improved his work efficiency. But she points out that his work efficiency isn’t her business.
