These are the Recap & Review for Love and Redemption: Episode 5. The competition begins. Chu Linglong and Zhong Minyan go to the stage. They fight with the rivals. Chu Linglong is kicked out of the stage. She cries because she lost.
Chu Xuanji comforts Chu Linglong that they will win if Zhong Minyan wins. The two girls cheer Zhong Minyan up. But the guy laughs and he thinks the people of Shaoyang Sect are trashes. Chu Linglong scolds him. He mentions she just fell from the stage.
He wants to challenge her. She agrees to it. But he points out that Chu Xuanji doesn’t know how to use martial art. Chu Linglong tries to beat the guy. Chu Xuanji stops her. Zhong Minyan defeats the rivals. Chu Linglong and Chu Xuanji are very happy.
The masked man visits the Hall Chief. Hall Chief thinks the man found the whereabouts of the Spiritual Key. But the man didn’t find the Spiritual Key. Hall Chief mentions Xuanyuan Sect is the head of Five Sects. He thinks there’s a chance.
He gives him a bottle of Kunyin Pills to him. He leaks that it can help increase internal force. He thinks the people of Xuanyuan Sect needs the pills. He believes that those people will speak out the secret of Spiritual Key if they take the pills.
The master scolds the disciple after the disciple lost. He tells another disciple Shi Feng that he won’t forgive him if he loses. Shi Feng promises not to let his master down. The master sighs and he lets the disciples leave. The masked man shows up.
He greets the Master the Elder Ling Shi. He mentions Xuanyuan Sect refined the restricted medicine and the chief hid in the hidden room. He reveals he added the medicine of Monster Clan into Ling Shi’s tea. He tells him that Kunyin Pill can help him increase his internal force.
Chu Xuanji practices in the bamboo forest. Yu Sifeng shows up. He thinks Chu Xuanji practiced because she was mocked by the people of Dianjing Sect. She reveals she didn’t want to get others involved. But she cannot learn the skill after she practiced one night.
She shows the sword art to him. He tells her to think about the food when she uses the sword art. She use the sword art again and she cuts his sachet. The sachet drops. He picks up the sachet. She finds out that his sachet is broken.
She tries to give her handkerchief to him. She reminds him that the jewelry will be dirty if he doesn’t use the handkerchief to protect it. He agrees to what she said. He reveals the jewelry was left by his mother. He accepts the handkerchief.
Chu Xuanji thinks Yu Sifeng’s mother was nice to Yu Sifeng. So he cherished the stuff his mother left to him. He remembers he has grown up from Lize Palace since childhood. He didn’t see his parents. But they left the gold hairpin to him.
