This is the recap for Kill Me Love Me: Episode 3. Murong Jinghe drinks when he paints at his house. Murong Xuanlie stops him when he grabs his wine bottle. But Murong Jinghe kisses his brother’s hand because he mistakes him for a beauty.
Episode 3
Murong Jinghe thinks his brother’s hand is soft. Murong Xuanlie takes a look at the painting Murong Jinghe painted. The lady Lian Xiu brings the tea to the two princes. Murong Xuanlie recognizes Lian Xiu. She leaves. He mentions Lian Xiu prepared tea for him and Murong Jinghe after they stole wine to drink.
Murong Jinghe mentions his mother passed away because of him. He thanks Murong Xuanlie for sending his mother away. Murong Xuanlie thinks he should be filial because Murong Jinghe’s mother treated him as her real son. He takes out the prescription and he tells Murong Jinghe to give it a try.
But Murong Jinghe doesn’t want to treat his legs. Murong Xuanlie decides to ask Emperor to change a residence for Murong Jinghe. Murong Jinghe persuades Murong Xuanlie to ask Emperor to let him stay in Capital Zhao. Murong Xuanlie shows an evil smile.
He sees Rising Sun Bow. He goes to take it. He mentions Murong Jinghe got the treasure after Murong Jinghe defeated him in the hunting. But Murong Jinghe knows his older brother let him win. He asks Murong Xuanlie why he always let him win.
Murong Xuanlie denies it. Murong Jinghe tells him that he doesn’t have to let him win because Murong Xuanlie is Crown Prince now. But Murong Xuanlie wants to let Murong Jinghe win again in the Marriage Banquet. He mentions Murong Jinghe had feelings for a beauty of West Yan.
Murong Jinghe reveals the woman hurt him. He tells Murong Xuanlie to kill the woman. Murong Xuanlie asks Murong Jinghe what happened. Murong Jinghe says that the beauty made him get lovesickness but she didn’t allow him to touch her. Murong Xuanlie scolds Murong Jinghe. He thinks the marriage of the two nations is a big case. He leaves.
Murong Jinghe and Qing Yan go to the memorial hall to pay their respect to the dead. He remembers the general Yang Donghu was killed by the citizens who didn’t know the truth. He thinks those people provoked the citizens to attack the camp because they knew North Wei Army wouldn’t hurt citizens. He claims that he won’t be mercy anymore. He tells the dead that Great Flame will return a justice to them.
Mei Lin takes a look at her poisoned hand. She remembers Master told her that the Marriage Banquet is her last chance. She wonders what happened to the big fire. Zi Gu shows up behind Mei Lin. She tries to give her a big surprise. But Mei Lin catches Zi Gu.
Zi Gu thinks it’s not funny because she failed to scare Mei Lin. She wonders why Mei Lin is there. Mei Lin reveals she couldn’t make the decision. Zi Gu goes to pick up two stones. She lets the God make the decision for her. She wishes the Emperor will be nice to her like her older brother.
But she knows there’s nobody who will be like her older brother. She wishes Emperor not to like Murong Jinghe who kills people. She throws the stone into the pond. She’s excited to tell Mei Lin that the God promised. She gives another stone to Mei Lin. She leaves after the maid informed her that the young master came back. Mei Lin throws the stone into the pond because she has known what to do. She asks her parents to bless her.
The prince of West Yan Yue Qin shows up. He asks his follower Shu Mo to change the incense for Zi Gu because he wishes his sister to sleep well. Shu Mo comforts Zi Gu that he changed the incense himself. Yue Qin spots Mei Lin. He goes to chase her. She’s missing. He sees the Blue State Knot she left.

He thinks the girl was Mei Lin. He takes a look at his knot. He remembers Mei Lin gave the knot to him. But Shu Mo thinks his master mistook the girl for Mei Lin. He reminds him that the princess is waiting for them.
