I May Be A Guild Receptionist Episode 2

Slay scolds Alina for talking back to the adventurer master. He doesn’t know she’s too classy. She would slap him if she’s not polite. She knows nothing about the secret task. But she smiles to serve him apparently. He grabs her collar and he tries to beat her. Fortunately, Jade arrives. He stops Slay and he grabs his hand. He takes down the man.

Jade is furious to threaten Slay that he will give him a lesson if he hurts Alina. Slay claims that he will be back. He flees then. The crisis is over. Laila thanks Alina for helping her. Alina wants to thank Jade as well. But she cannot conceal her eyes that she wants to kill someone. She mentions what she told him not to appear in front of her. She thinks he doesn’t give up. He flees.

The next day, Alina thinks it will be a good morning. But she feels unhappy when she thinks about someone knowing her secret. She thinks it’s most secure to kill the guy. But the guy is the big role in the guild. She thinks she will be fired if she takes action. She has to lie in the bed. She wants to be an otaku girl all her life if she can do that.

But she took out a loan to buy the house. So she makes the decision and she thinks she shouldn’t lose the secure employment. But she sees Jade everyday when she works. He disturbs her when she has lunch. She cannot stand it. She gives up her delicious sandwich and she wants to take the hammer to hit him. He actually ignores her threats. He catches the chance and he’s close to her for asking her about something.

So when did she get her divine realm skills? She doesn’t want to talk to him. But she cannot beat him. She has to say that she doesn’t want to talk about it. She turns around and she tries to leave. But he still tangles her. It’s the divine realm skills that nobody knows how to get it. He thinks she was very lucky to own it. He persuades her not to be just a guild receptionist. But the two aren’t at same level.

She doesn’t know why the God gave the blessing to a guild receptionist like her. She remembers two years ago in the summer. The town was hosting the once a year centennial festival that night. It had been a blast all night. Alina just got the job. She was unfamiliarity with the work. So she had to work overtime furiously.

It’s said that the person who has strongest wish at the centennial festival will get blessing from the God. So Alina was devout to pray. But nothing happened at that time. She was firm that she has to rely on herself. She worked hard to deal with the work and she ran to the festival. She thought she will have a sense of participation even if she stays for one minute. But everything in front of her was over. Even her humble wish couldn’t be fulfilled.

She was in tears and she wondered who made her work overtime. She hated it and she didn’t want to forgive the guy. She can do anything as long as not letting her work overtime. She wished to get powerful strength so that she can blow away the nuisance guys. The God received her wish.

Slay wants to beat Alina for releasing his temper after Alina and Jade teamed up to give him a hard time. He sees a Clay Golem on the street. He comes up with a bad idea. Jade is on the street as well. He thinks about how to make Alina look at him. He shakes his head and he cheats himself that he does it for the team.

There’s a loud sound in front of him. He arrives and he finds out that Slay drove the Clay Golem. Clay Golem breaks the teleportation crystal with just one hit. Jade pulls out his sword and he uses his magic confusion light skill for drawing the resentment from the enemy.

He wants to let the people around him flee. But the adventurers who took back the Clay Golem persuade Jade not to do it alone. They don’t know why the Clay Golem is mad suddenly. Slay admits that he controls the guy and lets him do sleepwalking.

He wants to use the guy to give Jade and Alina a lesson. He plans to ruin the town then. Jade notes that Slay is going to take action. He thinks he shouldn’t step back. After all, there’re citizens and town behind him. Alina is still working overtime. The boss asks her to hand over the client’s report. It’s a crazy day. The noise outside makes her jittery. She sees the Clay Golem and the bad guy Slay. She only wants to watch the show. But the Clay Golem throws the rock at her house.

The house is ruined. Her heart turns into pieces. She’s wrong and she promises not to watch show. She hates Slay since then. She wants to smash him to pieces. She wears the robe of executioner and she jumps up. She breaks the Clay Golem’s arm with just one hammer.

Alina doesn’t care what Slay wants to do. She thinks about why the guy dared to smash her house. It’s the only warm place after she’s off duty. She spits the Clay Golem in half. Did Slay’s mother teach him not to break someone else’s stuff?

He should thank Alina that she has the last reason. She releases her temper but she cannot change the truth that she’s homeless. Jade sees her miserable and he almost takes her home. But she’s sensible and she wants to go to the hotel.

Nobody will go to a strange man’s house. She has a new task after the farce. She doesn’t know when it will end. She wants to curse the man. The result is that Jade and Alina get into the office together. He has the right because he’s a celebrity in the guild. He worries that she will be in danger after he leaves. She dislikes him when she talks with him. But she wishes him to stay.

Jade persuades Alina to take a break today. But she doesn’t want to work overtime tomorrow. He helps her handle the paperwork. She wonders why he’s so skilled since he just began. She thinks she’s too stupid and she releases her temper in her heart. She doesn’t express it in the end. She thinks the world is unfair.

She’s not happy even if Jade promised to complete all work for her. It hurts her pride more as a guild receptionist. I think the two should exchange the jobs. Jade tries to take out sweets to make Alina happy. But he touches the holy relic she crushed. He fixed it and it glows.

Jade worries that Alina will be hurt so that he blocks it in front of her. But there’s a task appearing. The secret task exists. They’re asked to raid all the bosses in the tower. Alina is perfunctory. She closes her eyes and she pretends not to see it. She doesn’t want to get involved. But she doesn’t know she cannot avoid the new trouble even if she tries her best to avoid it. The one who knows her real face is going to come.

The guild master Glen Garia owns Time Observer skill. He can go back in time as long as the executioner appears. He saw the face under the hood. Alina sees the photo of the executioner on the newspapers. She sweats. But Laila acts a crazy fan in front of her.

She thinks the executioner is a cold handsome guy. She wishes to be hit by the hammer. She thinks the executioner and Jade are a couple. Alina has to bless them without any emotion. It’s good that Laila is happy. Glen Garia visits Alina after knowing her real identity.
