Deok-Hee reminds Se-Ok that the police found the dog hair from the nurse’s clothes. She will be a suspect soon. His hands are slow. He thinks they don’t have too much time. But she still refuses to operate on him. She just reminds him that she didn’t mention him and Myeong-Jin’s relationship to anyone. So he doesn’t have to worry about getting suspected by the police.

Hyeon-Ho visits Se-Ok in the evening. He worries about her because of what happened. She’s very sad and she reveals she wants to flee to prison. She wishes to operate when she opens her eyes everyday in prison. She can only sleep or eat after she completes it. The life is heaven to her. Hyeon-Ho mentions Se-Ok’s assistant Young-Joo. Se-Ok is in anger because her teacher didn’t tell her the truth. She hunts wild boar in the woods everyday. Young-Joo worries about her. He had a malignant brain tumor ever. But he refused to have an operation. Se-Ok knew what he thought. He only wanted to die because of the disease. But the tumor in his head gave him a headache. He wanted to die but he couldn’t do that. Se-Ok told Young-Joo that she’s going to help him. She persuaded him to be killed by her during the operation. He agreed to it. But she healed him. He followed her since then.

Se-Ok realizes that Young-Joo is nice to her after Hyeon-Ho reminded her. The next day, she gets the juice for Young-Joo in the morning. She walks into his room for waking him up. But he’s not in the room. She calls him and she asks him to come back to drink the juice. He replies to her that he cannot talk on the phone because he’s in the nursing school. She goes to the nursing school. But she doesn’t see him. She calls him again. He claims that he needs to go to watch movie. She’s lost. She doesn’t know he was kidnapped by the gang.

The police begin to look into illegal surgery after the nurse was killed. They find out that a gang group was involved in the case. The one who had an operation is the boss of the gang. The gangster Sang-Gi catches Young-Joo for preventing their boss Doo-Bong from being caught.

He asks him who killed the nurse. Young-Joo chooses to tell a lie for protecting Se-Ok. Se-Ok doesn’t know the truth. She comes to the cinema alone. She waits for Young-Joo outside after she watched the movie. But he doesn’t appear. She gets a call from him. She knows the truth in the end.

She visits the gang in the evening. She sees Young-Joo and Doo-Bong. She’s a talk with Doo-Bong. He believes that she’s the murderer who killed the nurse. He threatens her and he asks her to kill the broker Hyeon-Ju for preventing the guy from leaking the gang’s information to the police.

Se-Ok promises it and she takes Young-Joo to leave the gang. He’s surprised that she wants to flee to Philippines with him. He’s angry to persuade her to be sensible. She’s manic when the fire trucks drive by. She returns home and she finds out that her dog house is on fire. She looks at the fire and she thinks about the dogs who were killed in the flames. She’s sad.

The fire is put out. Se-Ok calls Deok-Hee. She asks for a meeting up. She knows it well that the fire was set by him. He waits for her at the meeting place. But she drives her car and she hits his car from the back. She has no scruples with resentment. Deok-Hee is calm to walk to the back of the car. He has an eye contact with Se-Ok. She drives the car to rush to him. She shifts direction before the car crashes him. It’s obvious that her teacher won.

Se-Ok’s dogs pass away. She loses the treasure. She hides in her room and she keeps crying. She’s like a simple girl. The next day, Hyeon-Ju visits her. He brings the information of the surgery to her. It’s a difficult brain surgery just like last time. She yells at him and she refuses to operate. She wants to kill the bad guy. But he doesn’t give up. He thinks it’s time to pay him debts because she owes him money. She has to agree to it because of the debts.

The operation is arranged on a cruise ship. Se-Ok and Young-Joo are going to get on the ship in the evening. Because the operation is too hard. There will be another surgeon joining it. Se-Ok wonders who’s the person. A car appears. The second surgeon is in the car. Se-Ok gets angry because the one who walks to her is her teacher Deok-Hee.

Hyeon-Ju was targeted by the police. He knew that Se-Ok killed the nurse. He threatened Deok-Hee that he will stay silent to the police if he works with him. He met with him and he suspected that he slept with Se-Ok. Deok-Hee was in anger. He wanted to kill the guy. But he suppressed his anger for protecting Se-Ok. He decided to work with Hyeon-Ju.

Se-Ok and Deok-Hee get on the ship. They will team up to complete the operation. But she gets angry when she looks at him. Hyeon-Ju explains it to Se-Ok that the patient asked Deok-Hee to operate on him. Deok-Hee is the lead surgeon. Se-Ok just assistants him.

Se-Ok stands on the deck. She holds the dog tags with the ashes. She’s sad to throw it into the sea. Deok-Hee comes to the deck. He pays attention to her mood. He mentions the dogs. He admits that he was the one who set the fire. He claims that he did it for helping her. He thinks they were just dogs. She’s furious to take the umbrella to beat him. Fortunately, Hyeon-Ho and Young-Joo arrive in time. They pull Se-Ok away.

Hyeon-Ju is told that Deok-Hee was beaten. He’s angry to threaten that the people on the ship will be over if the operation is botched. Young-Joo wonders who’s the patient. Hyeon-Ju replies it to Young-Joo that the patient is a God.

The next day, Deok-Hee meets with the patient Eun-Tae. Eun-Tae is a godfather of a cult. Se-Ok meets with Hyeon-Ho before the operation. She mentions Deok-Hee’s hands. Deok-Hee’s hands tremble from time to time. But she needs to operate the endoscope during the operation. She asks Hyeon-Ho to watch Deok-Hee closely.

Deok-Hee gives himself a shot for preventing the accident. The operation begins. Eun-Tae finds out that Deok-Hee’s student is so young. He worries about it. He asks Se-Ok to explain the surgical procedure. She points at his brain scan. She explains it clearly. It makes him nod.

Se-Ok worries about Deok-Hee. She offers to exchange the positions with her if he’s not confident. But he’s still stubborn to reject her kindness. They have a perfect fit in the beginning. But his hands tremble soon. He talks with Se-Ok. He thinks she’s impulsive and selfish. The most important thing is that she doesn’t know to be grateful to him.

He claims that he’s grateful to her. Because the time he and Se-Ok operated together is the most exciting and proud moment in his life. She’s surprised to look at her teacher. She mistook that he hates her. The operation is perfect because of their fit.

Se-Ok goes to the deck. She has a talk with Deok-Hee. He cannot conceal his joy after he completed the operation with his student. She confesses it to him that she was very happy when she operated with him. She feels regret that the time has passed. She realizes that it was their last operation. She thanks him and she bows to him.

Se-Ok and Young-Joo get off the ship. Se-Ok is told that Deok-Hee has left. She’s not happy. He stops the car and he takes a break. He takes out the letter that Se-Ok applied for residency. Mrs. Ra reminded him that the girl is gifted but she has mental problems. The application letter is the best evidence.

Se-Ok expressed that she wants to be a neurosurgeon in the letter. Neurosurgery is the only and the urgent choice to her. She felt that her brain is like a universe when she was a child. Deok-Hee had same feelings when he was young. He thought there’s a worm in his head when he studied. He was an anomaly like Se-Ok. He didn’t go out with girls and he only knew to study human brain. He saw a living human brain after he became a doctor. He was obsessed with it. He wasn’t restless anymore. Deok-Hee smiles after he read Se-Ok’s application letter. He thinks Se-Ok is another himself.
