What Happens In Hidden Love Episode 23?

Sang Yan tells Sang Zhi to be reserved. But she thinks she doesn’t have to do so because she came to see her boyfriend. He suspects that she pursued Duan Jiaxu. She tells him not to talk nonsense. Duan Jiaxu walks out of the hotel. He runs to Sang Zhi and hugs her from her back.
Sang Yan sees Duan Jiaxu holding Sang Zhi’s hand in his car. He tells the two not to do something which shouldn’t be done. But Duan Jiaxu tells Sang Yan to drive. Sang Yan asks Duan Jiaxu if he treats him as his personal driver. Sang Zhi thinks Sang Yan is envy of them.
Sang Yan tries to tell Duan Jiaxu about the truth of the moving out. Sang Zhi grabs Sang Yan’s collar from his back to stop him. Duan Jiaxu takes Sang Zhi to the restaurant. He introduces Sang Zhi as his girlfriend to his classmates.
The classmate mentions Duan Jiaxu introduced Sang Zhi as his younger sister when he took graduation photos. Duan Jiaxu explains to the classmate that he had a crush on Sang Zhi. Sang Yan tells Sang Zhi not to drink. But Duan Jiaxu takes Sang Zhi’s side.
Sang Zhi and Duan Jiaxu are on the way home. Sang Zhi asks Duan Jiaxu why he doesn’t drive. He tells her that he doesn’t wish Madam Sang to know that she drank. But she thinks he’s allergic to alcohol. So he kisses her. He tells her that he will miss her if he cannot see her. He tries to kiss her again. But she runs away.
Madam Sang returns home when Sang Zhi is drinking water in the kitchen. Madam Sang asks Sang Zhi why she returned home so late. Sang Zhi explains to her mother that she went to have dinner with her older brother. She runs to her room.
Madam Sang walks into Sang Zhi’s room after Sang Zhi dropped her earrings. She asks her if she drank. Sang Zhi tells her mother that she just drank a little because her older brother was there. Madam Sang tells Sang Zhi not to drink when she’s outside alone.
Madam Sang asks Sang Zhi if she’s in love with Duan Jiaxu. She tells her that she has seen it. Sang Zhi explains to Madam Sang that she tried to tell the truth to her. Madam Sang asks Sang Zhi if she didn’t return home on the vacation because of Duan Jiaxu.
Sang Zhi admits it. But she claims that she wished to get some work experience before she graduates. She tells Madam Sang that she lived in dormitory when Madam Sang thinks she lived in Duan Jiaxu’s house. She comforts her that Duan Jiaxu is a good person.
But Madam Sang asks Sang Zhi if she knows Duan Jiaxu’s family. She mentions what Sang Yan told her that the victim’s family often brought trouble to Duan Jiaxu. Sang Zhi tells her mother that the victim’s family didn’t often do so.
It makes Madam Sang believe that Sang Zhi encountered the family. Sang Zhi denies it. She tells her mother that Duan Jiaxu told it to her. Madam Sang thinks Sang Zhi just treats Duan Jiaxu as her older brother. But Sang Zhi claims that she actually likes Duan Jiaxu. Madam Sang is furious to leave Sang Zhi’s room.
Sang Zhi is waiting for Duan Jiaxu. She puts the petunia on the ground. Duan Jiaxu shows up behind Sang Zhi. He holds her chin from her back and makes her look at him. He tells her that he went to do something important. But he refuses to leak it.
Why Doesn’t Master Sang Wish His Daughter to Get Together with Duan Jiaxu?
Duan Jiaxu tells Sang Zhi to go to accompany her parents because she didn’t return home during the summer vacation. He volunteers to go to see her parents. She wishes her to be older than Duan Jiaxu so that Sang Yan wouldn’t beat Duan Jiaxu.
But Duan Jiaxu tells Sang Zhi that he likes young girls. She points out that she will be aged. He reminds her that she will be younger than him even if she’s aged. She asks him if he’s happy. He admits it. She wishes him to be happy each day.
Sang Zhi promises to make Duan Jiaxu be happy each day. He points out that it depends on if she keeps accompanying him or not. Duan Jiaxu visits Master Sang with the presents. Master Sang hands over the tea to Duan Jiaxu. He finds out that he brought the teas to him. Duan Jiaxu mentions Master Sang likes tea.

Master Sang tells Duan Jiaxu that he was surprised after knowing Duan Jiaxu is in love with Sang Zhi. He adds that Sang Zhi didn’t understand it even if he told the problems to her. He asks Duan Jiaxu if the victim’s family visited him. Duan Jiaxu denies it.
Master Sang asks Duan Jiaxu about his plant father. Duan Jiaxu reveals his father still lies in the bed. Master Sang thanks Duan Jiaxu for taking care of Sang Zhi. But he cannot accept it if Duan Jiaxu is in love with Sang Zhi. He tells Duan Jiaxu that he and Madam Sang worry about it because they’re Sang Zhi’s parents.
Duan Jiaxu tells Master Sang that he understands his concerns. He comforts him that he will resolve the problems. Sang Zhi returns home. Master Sang asks Sang Zhi if she was happy to see her classmates. Sang Zhi tells Master Sang that her classmates have changed.
Sang Zhi pours Master Sang tea. She volunteers to help Madam Sang cut fruits. Master Sang rejects it. She thinks her daughter is very cute. She smiles. Master Sang mentions Sang Zhi cried when he took her to the hospital. He thinks she’s going to get married because she’s in love.
Master Sang tells Sang Zhi that he doesn’t require her to have a rich boyfriend. He just doesn’t wish her to suffer. He tells her that he worries that she won’t have a good life. Sang Zhi comforts his father that she’s happy each day.
Master Sang tells Sang Zhi that he just wishes his daughter to be happy like other fathers. He adds that he invited Duan Jiaxu to his house when she wasn’t at home. She mentions he promised to meet up together. She asks him what he said to Duan Jiaxu when she wasn’t there.
Episode 23 of Hidden Love ends with Sang Zhi waiting for Duan Jiaxu at the airport. She looks at the paper stars she folded. She remembers she told Duan Jiaxu that she worries that his boyfriend will fall for someone else once she grows up.
Does Duan Jiaxu Break Up with Sang Zhi?
Sang Zhi cries to ask Duan Jiaxu if he’s going to believe that he’s a good person since she has told him the secret she hid. She asks him not to listen to what others said. He wipes off his tears. He asks her how to fold the paper star.
Sang Zhi folds the paper star. Duan Jiaxu promises to keep the paper stars. He thinks she’s a crybaby because she cried many times. He hugs her and asks her why she suddenly told the truth to him. He claims that he has a real girlfriend.
Sang Zhi tells Duan Jiaxu that she worried that he would break up with her. He laughs to tell her that he would get married with her if her parents weren’t against it. He tells her that he will explain it to her parents. She tells her to smile.
Duan Jiaxu takes a look at the paper star Sang Zhi folded. He remembers Sang Zhi tore up when he thought she will find a better boyfriend. She finds out that he drank. She tries to go to get him some hot water. But he stops her and thinks he wasn’t nice to her.
Sang Zhi learns that Duan Jiaxu did it because of the words she told him. She explains to him that she just wished to let him know the things he didn’t know. She tells him that he’s nice to her. He confesses his feelings to her. He thinks his confession is too late.
Duan Jiaxu feels guilty for letting Sang Zhi wronged. He tells her that her insisting made him realize that he’s not good enough. He promises not to make her regret for her choice. She’s moved to kiss him. Sang Zhi tells Ning Wei that she found the topic of her design. She smiles at her.
Xun Ge brings the present to Si Yun. He leaks that the present was picked by Duan Jiaxu. Duan Jiaxu walks into Si Yun’s office. He tells Si Yun that he’s going to resign after he completed the game. Xun Ge is shocked. Duan Jiaxu tells Si Yun that he intends to run his business in Nanwu.
Si Yun realizes that Duan Jiaxu does it for Sang Zhi. She tells him to do so after Sang Zhi graduates. He tells her that he realizes that he wasn’t good enough to Sang Zhi because of something. He confesses to her that Sang Zhi’s parents worried about him and Sang Zhi’s future.
Episode 24 of Hidden Love ends with Sang Zhi hugging Duan Jiaxu. She tells him that she doesn’t wish him to leave. He strokes her hair. He comforts her that he won’t let her wait for him for too long. She tells him that she will raise him if he fails to start his own business.
