This is the recap for Fireworks of My Heart Episode 35. Song Yan visits the chief. He reports to him that someone bribed him. He reveals he didn’t see the person before. The chief thinks someone tried to wrong Song Yan. Song Yan takes the cash and he thinks the method is too low.
The chief mentions the Investigation Team went to the construction site. They found the insulation material reached the standards. The chief thinks there will be a trick. He lets Song Yan give the money to discipline inspection commission.
The guy is in his office. He receives a footage. He watches the footage and he finds out that Song Yan accepted the cash. He’s very happy. Xu Qin walks to the nurses’ station. She asks the nurse for the patient Li Dalong’s CT report. But she’s told that the patient’s family refused to do the CT.
Li Dalong’s wife takes cares of Li Dalong in the ward. She complains it to him that the hospital asked them to pay the bill. She thinks he wouldn’t be burned if his boss didn’t reduce the material. Li Dalong stops his wife. He mentions they got the compensation.
Xu Qin walks into the ward. She asks the couples why they didn’t go to do CT. Li Dalong’s wife reveals they plan to leave the hospital. Xu Qin is against it. She reveals Li Dalong has a life risk after he was burned. Madam Li thinks Xu Qin scared them. But Xu Qin claims what she said is the truth. She lets them make the decision. She leaves the ward.
We go to the fire station. Li Meng meets with Jiang Yu. She reveals the detachment decided to let Song Yan not to do job. Jiang Yu thinks there will be another method. But Li Meng thinks it’s the best plan. The fire fighter gets angry and he thinks the video was edited. He decides to resign. Other fire fighters follow him and they want to resign as well. Song Yan shows up. He scolds the fire fighter. He lets them do their jobs.
Zhai Miao is at home. She’s told that Song Yan cannot be fire fighter right now. Song Yan asks her to lower her voice because he worries that her uncle and her aunt will hear it. She mentions the news she saw that Zhan Dapeng is dead and the fire cause is investigated.
She persuades Song Yan to change a job. But he wants to look into the case. She suspects that the case was done by Meng family. He stops her. She reminds him that something happened to him when he was going to be the best soldier. She asks him if he thinks the fates are similar.
He asks her not to mention the case. But she points out that Meng family won’t forgive him. He sits on the couch and he thinks Meng family didn’t have to hurt him. He persuades Zhai Miao not to use the hypothesis to trouble herself. He believes that there will be a fair result.
Xu Qin wakes up from the bed in the evening. She finds out that Song Yan isn’t in the bed. Song Yan drinks on the rooftop. Xu Qin finds him. She asks him why he came to the place. He reveals he was seeing the street. But she tells him that he cannot conceal it from her.
She grabs his drink and she asks him what happened. He reveals he cannot be fire fighter right now. She wonders if it was because of the Junguang Case. She thinks he did nothing wrong. He reveals someone reported him that he wronged Junguang Square’s martial after he received the cash.
Jiang Yi returns to the fire station. He sees the fire fighter Pi Pi is eating the ice lolly. He asks him if he feels cold. Pi Pi mentions Song Yan bought him ice lolly after he completed a task. He reveals he’s uneasy when Song Yan isn’t on his side. He wonders when Song Yan will be back. He reveals he dreamed Zhan Dapeng.
Lao Jiang comforts Pi Pi and he tells him that everyone misses Zhan Dapeng. He persuades him to go to wash his face. Pi Pi remembers Zhan Dapeng’s words that he defeated Song Yan when he ran with him. Pi Pi wonders why Zhan Dapeng couldn’t defeat the fire. He cries.
Xu Qin is on the rooftop with Song Yan. She persuades him to change a job. He rejects it because the job has been his life. She wishes him to go to work early. She smiles at him. He hands over the drink to her. She drinks it up and she lies on the rooftop with him.
Madam Li goes to pay the bill. But she’s told that she needs to pay 20,000 yuan. Xun Qin goes to the restroom. She runs into Madam Li. Madam Li cries when she talks with someone over the phone. She complains that she needs to pay 20,000 yuan. Xu Qin leaves the restroom.
Madam Li returns to the ward. She packs the stuff and she tells the kids that they don’t have money to get the treatment. She decides to send their father home. But her daughter tells her that Xu Qin paid the bill. Madam Li cries. She hugs her son and her daughter when she thinks their father has a hope.
The doctor does a surgery for Li Dalong in the operating room. He tells Madam Li that the surgery ran well. She asks him about Xu Qin. She’s told that Xu Qin left. Xu Qin walks into the ward. Madam Li reports to her that her husband felt painful last night.
Xu Qin comforts Madam Li that it was normal. She asks Feng Bei to give a painkiller shot to the patient. Madam Li thanks Xu Qin. But Xu Qin tells the lady to go to thank the fire fighters. Because the fire fighters saved her husband’s life.
Madam Li asks Xu Qin about the guy who saved her husband. Xu Qin reveals the fire fighter is dead. She leaves the ward with Li Nan. Madam Li stops Xu Qin in the hallway. She reports something to her. Some guys break into the factory. They carry the material into the truck and they try to flee. But the police come and they arrest the culprit.
The reporter covers the fire cause of Junguang Square. She reveals Manager Zhao set off fireworks and it lighted the martial. Secretary Wang worked with Manager Zhao to use the bad martial. The two were arrested. Song Yan meets with the chief in the office.
The chief thinks Song Yan was wronged. The madam mentions Song Yan took the credit. She tells him to speak out his demand. He asks the detachment to care for Zhan Dapeng’s parents. He reveals Zhan Dapeng is the only son in the family. The chief comforts Song Yan that the organization will try their best to take care of the poor parents.
The fire fighters are in the hospital to accept the treatment. Feng Bei blames Lao Jiang for not accepting the treatment. He explains it to her that he thought they completed the treatment. She scolds him and she thinks he should come because he was hurt badly. He apologizes to her. But she’s furious to leave. The fire fighter thanks Li Nan for giving him the treatment. She leaves the ward.
Li Nan goes to the cinema. She holds two tickets. She’s in the theater to watch the fire fighting movie with the people. She turns around and she finds out that Zhan Dapeng is sitting next to her. He smiles at her. She’s in tears when she looks at him. She remembers he chased her. She cries.
Song Yan gathers the fire fighters at the fire station. He reads their names one by one. But Zhan Dapeng isn’t there. We return to the theater. Zhan Dapeng says goodbye to Li Nan. He walks into the fire. She’s sad. Song Yan calls Zhan Dapeng. The fire fighters reply to him.
Master Meng returns home. He’s told that Xu Qin doesn’t come back. Meng Yanzhen reports to his father that Xu Qin needs to work overtime. Master Meng complains that Xu Qin is too busy. Madam Meng mentions they treat Xu Qin as a pearl. She thinks Song Yan did something.
But Meng Yanchen takes Song Yan’s side. He thinks it was the guy’s duty. But she thinks the guy doesn’t care for their family according to the case. She worries that Xu Qin is going to give up the family if Xu Qin gets together with Song Yan.
Master Meng doesn’t believe Xu Qin will do that. He confesses that the case was because of Lao Gu’s follower. He thinks they should accept the duty. He mentions the company wasn’t hurt badly. Madam Meng wonders if Lao Gu cannot do anything in the company.
Master Meng reminds her that Lao Gu has a duty because Lao Gu didn’t manage his follower well. Madam Meng gets angry. She asks her son to come back to take over the company. She asks Master Meng to manage Xu Qin. Xu Qin is in the hospital.
She’s off duty. She calls Master Meng and she persuades him not to worry about the company. He comforts her that he’s fine. He asks her to come home. She hangs up. Song Yan is in the chief’s office. The madam gives an offer to him.
He learns that the detachment decided to set up a special fire station. He accepts the challenge. He’s on the stage to accept the honor. Song Yan is cooking in the kitchen. Xu Qin comes back. He reveals he’s going to cook pickled cabbage fish for her.
But she asks him when he’s going to go to work at the detachment. But he tells her that he decided to stay at the fire station. She’s furious to yell at him. She blames him for not talking about it with her when he made the decision.
He explains it to her that he worried that she would support him because she loves him. She learns that he never told his choice to her. He apologizes it to her and he reveals he wanted to shoulder it when he faced the pressure. She blames him for concealing it from her.

She asks him about his gunshot wound. She asks him why she cannot know it since everyone knew it. She tells him that she wants to know the truth. But he refuses to tell her the truth. She tears up. He claims that he didn’t cheat her and he asks her to trust him.
