Jae-Gyeong thinks Hong-Jo and Shin-Yu are crazy after he knew what happened. He asks Hong-Jo if Shin-Yu has feelings for her because Shin-Yu drank the love potion. She admits it and she tells Jae-Gyeong that she failed when she tried to break the spell.
Jae-Gyeong is surprised that the two believe in spells. Shin-Yu tells Jae-Gyeong that he feels happy when he sits with Hong-Jo. He thinks it’s the evidence that the spell works. Jae-Gyeong takes a look at Shin-Yu. He finds out that he looks strange.

Shin-Yu tells Jae-Gyeong that the one who wrote the book lived in the world. He adds that his ancestors took her life. He reveals the witch served the king ever. Jae-Gyeong thinks Hong-Jo made Shin-Yu believe in spells. He tells her to do it because he wants to see if the spell works or not.
But Shin-Yu points out that Hong-Jo is very tired. But Hong-Jo wants to cast the spell. She goes to her room to prepare it. Shin-Yu walks into Jae-Gyeong’s room. Jae-Gyeong thinks Shin-Yu did it because it was cold outside. But Shin-Yu tells Jae-Gyeong that he came to check something.
Shin-Yu sees the stairs. He thinks the stairs are connected to the second floor. Jae-Gyeong admits that they’re connected to Hong-Jo’s bedroom. Shin-Yu goes to check the door of the stairs. He asks Jae-Gyeong to move out because he worries that people will say something if they see Jae-Gyeong living with Hong-Jo.
But Jae-Gyeong doesn’t care for it. He mentions Hong-Jo has feelings for him. But Shin-Yu points out that Jae-Gyeong rejected Hong-Jo. Jae-Gyeong tells Shin-Yu that he regrets for rejecting Hong-Jo. He thinks the love spell wasn’t for Shin-Yu.
Jae-Gyeong thinks the spell is just an excuse of Shin-Yu. He smiles at Shin-Yu. He asks him not to tangle Hong-Jo if the spells are proved not to work. Shin-Yu agrees to it. He asks Jae-Gyeong not to care for him and Hong-Jo if the spells are proved to work.
Jae-Gyeong notes that Shin-Yu keeps looking at his watch. He tells him not to be nervous. Shin-Yu claims that it’s a new watch. But Jae-Gyeong points out that he saw the watch a week ago. He thinks Shin-Yu worries about the spell Hong-Jo is going to cast.
Jae-Gyeong reminds Shin-Yu that he graduated from a law school. But Shin-Yu points out that people believe in it before they even realize. Jae-Gyeong agrees to what Shin-Yu said. He wonders how did he get Hong-Jo involved in the case.
Shin-Yu leaks that there’s a shrine in his land. But Hong-Jo demolish the shrine. She got the spell book from the shrine. Because she’s the owner of the wooden box. Hong-Jo begins to burn the spell. The light in Jae-Gyeong’s room flashes.
Jae-Gyeong asks Shin-Yu if the blackout was made by Hong-Jo. Shin-Yu ignores Jae-Gyeong. Hong-Jo calls Jae-Gyeong. Jae-Gyeong shows the phone to Shin-Yu. The two go to Hong-Jo’s room. Hong-Jo tells them that she cast the pretty spell.
Jae-Gyeong thinks the spell doesn’t work after he checked Hong-Jo’s face. He tells Shin-Yu that he was attracted to Hong-Jo. Shin-Yu leaves Hong-Jo’s house. He’s surprised that he was attracted by Hong-Jo. He doesn’t believe it. Hong-Jo looks at her face in the mirror. She finds out that her face wasn’t improved.
Hong-Jo remembers what Shin-Yu told her that his heart races when he sees her. She realizes that Shin-Yu’s feelings for her were real. She gets a message from Jae-Gyeong who invites her to drink wine with him. She goes to the rooftop. She finds out that he set up the rooftop for her.
Hong-Jo is shy to tell Jae-Gyeong that she wished the spell to work. She asks him if she was very stupid to believe in spells. He denies it and he tells her that he was very happy after knowing she wanted to use the love spell on him.
Hong-Jo explains to Jae-Gyeong that she did it for fun. She claims that it wasn’t serious at all. He smiles to let her the eat the snacks. Shin-Yu runs into Joong-Beom who holds the flowers. He remembers Joong-Beom gave the flowers to Hong-Jo.
Shin-Yu calls Hong-Jo. But Jae-Gyeong picks up the phone. Shin-Yu tells Jae-Gyeong to let Hong-Jo lock her door because Joong-Beom walks around. He wonders why he’s doing with Hong-Jo. Jae-Gyeong thinks Shin-Yu is a pathetic. He hangs up.
Hong-Jo brings the wine to Jae-Gyeong. He drinks the wine with her. He reveals Shin-Yu asked him to tell her to lock her door. He adds that Shin-Yu mentioned the garden owner. He asks her about the garden owner. She leaks that the garden owner drank the love potion as well. She doesn’t understand it.
Jae-Gyeong wonders why Hong-Jo believed in love spell. She confesses to him that she felt bad for Shin-Yu. But he thinks she doesn’t have to do it because Shin-Yu owns everything. Shin-Yu meets with the doctor. He asks him if the damaged blood vessel walls cause emotional malfunction. He asks him if it can make him have feelings for a girl.
Why Hong-Jo Wishes to Return the Wooden Box to Shin-Yu?
Shin-Yu leaks that he saw some unreal things from his dream. He wonders if the brain damage is serious or not. The doctor tells Shin-Yu that there’s a speaker in his brain. Hong-Jo helps the madam sort out the flowers. She claims that she’s the best worker.
Hong-Jo smiles the flower. She thinks the flower is pretty. Shin-Yu passed by. He sees her. He remembers he told the doctor that it’s just his confusion. He walks away. Shin-Yu tells Jae-Gyeong that he had feelings for Hong-Jo because of the neural coupling.
Jae-Gyeong mentions he heard Shin-Yu is sick. He asks Shin-Yu if he’s sick because of it. Shin-Yu realizes that Hong-Jo told it to Jae-Gyeong. Jae-Gyeong thinks Shin-Yu made excuses to visit Hong-Jo. He tells him not to continue to do that.
Shin-Yu reminds Jae-Gyeong that he’s not everything to Hong-Jo. He calls Hong-Jo. He tells her to come to the rooftop. She comes to the rooftop. He blames her for telling his illness to Jae-Gyeong. She explains to him that Jae-Gyeong thought they’re strange.
Shin-Yu blames Hong-Jo for selling him out. He thinks she told Jae-Gyeong that she pities Shin-Yu. But she thinks she protected his pride. He leaks that he hit on her because of the neural coupling. He decides to end it. He thinks she bragged to others that he’s hitting on her.
Episode 7 of Destined With You ends with Shin-Yu returning home. He’s surprised that Hong-Jo is waiting for him. She tells him that she came to return the dress and the wooden box to him. He wonders why she wants to do so. She tells him that she doesn’t want anything from him.
