Hee-Jin is a girl who likes good looking guys. But she’s moved by the heart of her suitor Bong-Soo in Crushology 101 Episode 1. She agrees to go out with him even if he’s ugly. But he pursues her for sleeping with her.
Episode 1
Hee-Jin likes handsome guys very much. Her heart will be racing as long as she sees handsome guys. She enters college and she chooses sculpture department. She plans to show the handsome guy she fantasizes through the sculpture.
We mistake that she will get a super handsome guy. But her friends Hye-Young and Min-Joo are shocked when she introduces Bong-Soo to them. Because Bong-Soo is like a clown who won’t grow. Her friends don’t understand why she chose Bong-Soo. But she’s in the sweet that Bong-Soo pursued her.
Bong-Soo handed over the drink with confession note to Hee-Jin. He got on knees to her and he confessed his feelings to her in the classroom. He kept appearing in front of her since then. He got on knees to her on the campus. His friends cheered him up when they held signs.
Hee-Jin is moved. She thinks the heart is the most important thing. She knows handsome guys won’t fall for her because she’s ordinary. She walks into the school and she receives a present from Bong-Soo. He tries to put on the pearl necklace for her. But he’s bumped by a boy. The pearl necklace falls to the ground.
Hee-Jin stops Bong-Soo who tries to beat the boy. She claims that she likes the necklace very much. She calls him after the class. He doesn’t pick up her phone when he reads comics in the radio room. She mistakes that he’s very busy. But she hears his voice from the tweeter.
He shows off to his friends that he’s going to go on a trip with Hee-Jin. He put a lot of thought into it for getting her. He pursued her for sleeping with her. He mistook that he will get her soon. But she’s pretended to be reserved. He plans to get her drunk and take action.
Hee-Jin has an illusion that Bong-Soo treats her as a toy in front of his friends. She’s angry to rush to the radio room. Bong-Soo’s friends visit Bong-Soo. Bong-Soo realizes that Hee-Jin has known his evil plan. He runs out of the radio room and he gets on knees to her. He asks her to forgive him.
He tells a lie to her that he said so for bragging in front of his friends. But she knows his true face. Sh kicks him and she scolds him. He notes that the people are talking about him. He thinks he lost his face. He stands up and he doesn’t pretend anymore. He thinks Hee-Jin wants to sleep with him as well. She cannot stand it. She grabs his fist tightly. She punches him. She tells him not to appear in front of her. She takes off the necklace and she leaves. She doesn’t pay attention to the handsome guys who admire her. They’re Jae-Yeol and Ji-Won.
Hee-Jin’s two friends comfort Hee-Jin. Hee-Jin makes an important decision after she was hurt. She’s sober and she feels shame. She’s the talk of the school no matter where she goes. She announces to take a break from the school for avoiding it.
Her parents remember that she asked for transferring. But she was happy after a handsome guy moved in. She gave up transferring and she tried her best to approach the handsome guy. Her mother Hyun-Kyung wishes the handsome guy to appear so that her daughter won’t take a break from the school. Hyun-Kyung’s prayer is answered.
Hee-Jin takes the application to the school. She runs into Ji-Won. She looks up and she sees his face. She has an illusion that he’s an angel from ancient Greece. He loves his weak girlfriend deeply. His girlfriend turns around. It’s Hee-Jin’s face.
Hee-Jin comes out from her illusion. She tears up the application immediately. She takes Ji-Won to the library. She sees the book of the Sculpture Department he’s carrying. She mistakes him for a freshman. She’s warm to ask him for his number. She claims that she’s the president of the Sculpture Department. He can visit her if he has any question.
Hee-Jin is happy to walk on the campus after she said goodbye to Ji-Won. She sees another handsome guy. The person is Jae-Yeol who witnessed her hitting Bong-Soo. She stops. She doesn’t expect that there’s such a dreamy face in the world.
She has an illusion again. Jae-Yeol is the protagonist of the sports drinks advertising. His girlfriend sits on the backseat of the bicycle. The girlfriend turns around. It’s Hee-Jin’s face again. Hee-Jin ran into two super handsome guys.
She believes that it’s God’s order to let her continue to come to the school. She thinks she did it right to tear up the application. She sees Jae-Yeol again. The guy just completes the design with his roommate Dong-Ha. The people relax to walk when they’re eating.
Jae-Yeol is unsteady when he’s fed. Hee-Jin rushes to him and she pushes him. But she causes the tablet to fly away. The screen of the tablet is broken. Hee-Jin is the mastermind. She agrees to compensate. She does a study and she finds out that the tablet is worth two million won. She inquires in a low voice if she can compensate it installment. Jae-Yeol tries to answer it. But she bows to him and she apologizes to him. She intends to flee. He catches her and he asks her for her number.
Hee-Jin isn’t happy. She drinks at the party. She sees Ji-Won. He introduces himself as a repeat student. She realizes that he’s her senior. She showed it off in front of him that she’s his senior sister when she showed him the way.
The girl reveals Ji-Won is the grandson of the chairman. Hee-Jin thinks she lost face in front of Ji-Won. He has a seat. She’s solicitous to pour him a drink. He finds out that she’s uneasy. He jokes with her and he claims that he cannot drink.
Hee-Jin introduces herself to Ji-Won. He remembers the sculpture of a beautiful man he saw in front of the library. The author is Hee-Jin. The organizer of the gathering asks the freshmen to make a toast. Ji-Won tries to reject it. But the classmates cheer him up. He doesn’t know what to do when he holds the wine cup.
Hee-Jin sees his dilemma. She drinks it for him. There’s a warm atmosphere. Hee-Jin is drunk. She sees Jae-Yeol staring at her at the door. He and his friends were gathering at the restaurant. He wasn’t happy because Hee-Jin ruined his tablet. He walked out of the restaurant for getting some air. He saw Hee-Jin drinking after she made a mistake. He got angry.
Hee-Jin perceives the resentment Jae-Yeol exposes. She’s drunk to run out of the restaurant. She holds his face and she reveals she tried to protect the good looking face. She’s close to him and she looks at him with love. But she throws up on him.
The next day, Hee-Jin wakes up. She remembers she lost her face. She regrets for not taking a break from the school. She arrives at the school. She sees the angry Jae-Yeol. She’s scared to flee. She’s almost caught by him. She sees Ji-Won. So she hides behind him. She asks him to save her.

Jae-Yeol walks forward. He tries to pull Hee-Jin out. But a drone comes at her. She grabs his clothes for avoiding the drone. It causes them to fall at the same time. The drone breaks the balloon. A lot of sequins fall. It seems that it’s making the atmosphere for the two. Hee-Jin looks at the good looking face. She revels in the romance.
