This is the Recap & Ending for Cheer Up K-Drama: Episode 1. Hae-Yi gets off the subway. She’s happy to run because she thinks she’s going to have a good future. Jung-Woo takes his team members to cheer the people up at the square. Hae-Yi tries to leave. But she bumps Sun-Ho.
Does Hae-Yi Deliver the Cake to Sun-Ho?

Hae-Yi apologizes to Sun-Ho. She picks up the earphone she just dropped. She runs away. The cheering up ends. We find out that the cheering up is just Jung-Woo and his team member’s illusion. There’s only one guy drinking at the square. He protects himself well so that we cannot see his face.
Woon-Chan applauds. Jung-Woo walks to Woon-Chan. He takes away the towel from him. He returns the towel to him. He tells him that he was the one who didn’t do the job. He asks him to practice cheering up. Woon-Chan reminds Jung-Woo that his shoulder will be broken if he doesn’t so.

Jung-Woo ignores Woon-Chan. He walks away. Cho-Hee comforts Woon-Chan that she will call the doctor for him if his shoulder is hurt. Hae-Yi is happy to arrive at the school. She lets the student take photos of her. She looks around the school. She thinks the place is very beautiful.
Hae-Yi tries to writes down her name on the stair. Jung-Woo stops her when he mentions what she said. He tells her that he’s going to report her if she doesn’t wipe off what she wrote. He walks away. She cannot wipe off the words. So she chooses to run away. He has to wipe off the words for her.
Jung-Woo shows up when Cho-Hee is helping Woon-Chan stretching. He offers to get changed. She agrees to his plan. He wears the uniform and does cheering up in front of the mirror. He thinks he’s perfect. He takes a look at the group photo. He tells the girl that he will work hard.
Hae-Yi returns to the square with the detergent. Sun-Ja shows up behind Hae-Yi and throws the milk to her when Hae-Yi is looking for the words she wrote. They’re happy for the encounter. Sun-Ho sits on the stair. He tells his friend that he broke up with his friend. He sees Hae-Yi who is dancing with Sun-Ja. Sun-Ho follows Hae-Yi. Hae-Yi avoids Jae-Hyeok after she ran into him. Sun-Ho sees the scene.
It flashes back. Someone texts Hae-Yi that she will give her one hundred dollars if she completes the delivering job. Hae-Yi is happy to accept the task. She arrives at the nightclub with the cake. She finds Sun-Ho and hands over the dog cake to him.
Hae-Yi reads Seo-Ra’s message. She tells Sun-Ho that it means that he breaks up with Seo-Ra if he blows out the candle. He blows out the candle. He tells his friends that he feels happy because he’s single. Hae-Yi asks Sun-Ho to let her take a photo of him so that she can complete the task. He agrees to it.
Hae-Yi takes a photo of Sun-Ho. She tries to leave. But she’s not satisfied with the photo because he just smiled. She asks him to reposes again without smiling. He does what she told him to do. She tries to leave. But he stops her and picks up the lipstick she just dropped.
Sun-Ho hands over the lipstick to Hae-Yi. He tells her that he wants to be her boyfriend. She’s furious to walk away. He smiles to see her off. She gets a call from Jae-Hyeok. She smiles to pick up his phone. She asks him for a date. But he rejects it and tells her that he’s going to return home when she sees him.
Hae-Yi follows Jae-Hyeok and avoids him after he turned around. She bumps Sun-Ho by mistake and covers his mouth. Jae-Hyeok tells his friend that he wants to dump Hae-Yi because she always doesn’t have time to go on a date with him. Hae-Yi tears up after Jae-Hyeok left with his friend.
How Does Hae-Yi Know Jung-Woo Wears the Uniform for Cheering People?
Sun-Ja takes Hae-Yi away. Sun-Ho follows them. Jung-Woo orders the drinks from the vending machine. He drinks up the drinks and throws it into the trash can. He turns around and sees Hae-Yi who falls asleep on the bench. He’s startled by her.
Jung-Woo walks to Hae-Yi. He takes a look at her and sees her beautiful shoulder. He tries to cover her with the newspapers. But she gets up and hits his chin by mistake. She takes a look at the newspaper. He explains that he did it to her.
Hae-Yi turns around. She sees Jung-Woo. He introduces himself to her. He tells her that he intended to protect her because he worried that the students will see her body. She takes a look at his uniform. She’s scared to run away. He wonders why she acted so. He reveals the uniform is very expensive.
Hae-Yi runs to Sun-Ja. She tells her that she ran into a guy who wore a weird uniform. Jung-Woo shows up behind her. It startles her. He blames her for badmouthing him. He tells her that he wears the uniform because of his work. He thinks he could call her crazy witch because she lied on the bench. It makes her get angry. Sun-Ja covers Hae-Yi’s mouth so that she doesn’t throw a fit to Jung-Woo. He hands over the test papers to her. He walks away.
Jung-Woo is furious to walk into the room. He asks Cho-Hee about his uniform. She tells him that the uniform isn’t suitable for going on a blind date. Hae-Yi complains to Sun-Ja about what Jung-Woo called her. But Sun-Ja agrees to what Jung-Woo said.
Hae-Yi thinks Sun-Ja isn’t his friend because she doesn’t take her side. Sun-Ja confesses that she wanted to cover Hae-Yi with something when she fell asleep. She tells Hae-Yi what Jung-Woo wore is the cheering uniform. She takes her to run away. Sun-Ho follows them.
How Does Hae-Yi Recognize Sun-Ho?
Sun-Ja takes Hae-Yi to get into the hall. Hae-Yi applauds when the singer sings on the stage. But Sun-Ja tells Hae-Yi that their target isn’t the singer. Hae-Yi is surprised. Some people leave the hall after they were told that the team Theia is going to show up.
Sun-Ja introduces Jung-Woo as the captain to Hae-Yi. Jung-Woo turns around. Hae-Yi sees him. She’s shocked to cover her mouth with her hand. He takes a look at the leaving people. He begins the cheering show with his team members. Hae-Yi is cheered up by Jung-Woo’s performance.
Hae-Yi still imitates Jung-Woo’s acting after she walked out of the restroom. She sees Sun-Ho. She has to end her acting. He smiles at her. She begins to walk. He follows her and tells her that he wants to be her friend since they’re freshmen.
Hae-Yi agrees it. She thinks it’s her first time to see Sun-Ho. He denies it and reminds her that she delivered the cake to him ever. She remembers him and begins to dislike him. He tangles her. She tells him that she’s not interested in him. She thinks he’s the guy who thinks he can get any girl if he wishes to do that.
Hae-Yi tells Sun-Ho that she doesn’t have time to go on a date with him because she needs to earn money. She walks away. He sees her off. He smiles because he thinks the girl is very funny. Jung-Woo walks out of the hall with Cho-Hee. He sees the guy telling the people to close down Theia.
Woon-Chan tries to have a fight with another guy who badmouths Theia. Jung-Woo stops Woon-Chan. He tells the color guard member to talk to him if he has any question. The color guard leader shows up. He asks Jung-Woo what happened. Jung-Woo explains that the two members had a debate.
The color guard leader reminds Jung-Woo that he needs new members because of the leaving members. Cho-Hee tries to punch the color guard leader. He avoids it. Woon-Chan complains to Cho-Hee that the color guard team intends to eat them up. She comforts him that they will defeat color guard team.
Jung-Woo gets a call from Ji-Young. The color guard member sees Theia members off. He wonders what happened to them. The color guard leader mentions the prophecy of Theia. Jung-Woo is summoned to the dean’s office. The dean tells Jung-Woo that he has to cut the budget of Theia because of the protest of students. Jung-Woo follows Ji-Young. He tells her not to do that. Cho-Hee agrees to what Jung-Woo said. She thinks they shouldn’t take the duty that the previous team leader made.
Ji-Young tells Cho-Hee not to ask the money from them. She mentions other teams need money as well. Jung-Woo gets on knees to Ji-Young. But she’s not moved by him. He gets up and tells her that his leg was hurt. She tells him to leave. But she sees Young-Woong who watches her from outside.
Yong-Il walks Jae-Hyeok. He tells him that he wants to join the cheering team. Hae-Yi is waiting for Jae-Hyeok. He sighs when she sees him. She walks to him. He blames her for not picking up his phone. She tells him that she wants to break up with him because he’s too small. She walks away.
Jae-Hyeok’s friend mocks him. Jae-Hyeok denies it. Hae-Yi walks to the corner. She sees on the ground to cry. She remembers the happy moments she had with Jae-Hyeok. Sun-Ho places the tissue on the ground. He remembers she cried. He walks away.
Cho-Hee walks Jung-Woo. She thinks he didn’t have to get on knees to Ji-Young. He walks into the room. He sees Yoo-Min. He calls her and makes her turn around. She smiles at him. But she’s hit by the light. He wakes up from the nightmare. He notes that someone is trying to open the door.
Jung-Woo opens the door and looks around. He sees nobody so that he leaves. The madam calls Hae-Yi. She tells her that she’s not going to pay the tuition. Hae-Yi returns home. She kicks her brother Jae-Yi when he’s cooking. She tells her mom Chun-Yang that she needs money.
Jae-Yi tells Hae-Yi that he found a job. But she scolds him and tells him to focus on his study. She intends to leave after she got the work message. Chun-Yang cheers Hae-Yi up. Jae-Yi tells his mom that he believes that Hae-Yi will give up them.
Young-Woong takes over the papers from Jung-Woo. He finds out that there’re not two guys being interested in the cheering team. He tells Jung-Woo that he worries about it. He walks away. Woon-Chan sees Young-Woong off. He thinks he cares for the cheering team because he’s free. Jung-Woo walks away with the papers.
Young-Woong watches Hae-Yi with his telescope. He targets her. He explains to Jung-Woo that he will get many members if he makes Hae-Yi join them. Because the school star Sun-Ho is interested in her. Young-Woong sits in front of Hae-Yi when she’s eating. He tells her that he’s a strange person.
Hae-Yi smiles at Young-Woong. She tries to leave. He stops her and asks her if she believes in money. He takes off his sunglasses. She learns that he will pay her if she joins the cheering team for one month. She asks him who he is. He introduces himself as the member of the cheering team.
Young-Woong intends to leave since Hae-Yi isn’t interested in his offer. She stops him and tells him that she needs to think about it. She gets a call from someone. She leaves the restaurant. He smiles. She watches him from outside because she still doesn’t believe him.
Hae-Yi watches the cheering footage. Chun-Yang shows up behind Hae-Yi. She recognizes the cheering team. It startles Hae-Yi. Chun-Yang tells Hae-Yi to join the cheering team because she thinks she’s good at dancing. Hae-Yi thinks she needs to join the team for the money. But she doesn’t like Jung-Woo.
Young-Woong shows up. He tells Hae-Yi that he will give her one thousand dollars if she completes the task. She walks to Jung-Woo. She tells him that she wants to be the member of the cheering team. She walks away. Young-Woong passes by Sun-Ho. He mentions Hae-Yi is interested in the cheering team.
Cheer Up K-Drama: Episode 1 Ending
Episode 1 of Cheer Up ends with Cho-Hee reminding Jung-Woo that the people won’t stay in the team too long even if they accept them. Sun-Ho receives the dog photo. He smiles. Hae-Yi and Sun-Ja get messages. They learn that they were accepted. They feel happy.
