Worshiping Yi In
Kang Hee-Soo is actually a girl. She’s Kang Hang-Soon’s daughter. Yi In is Hang-Soon’s student. But he knows nothing about the girl. Kang Hee-Soo likes to play Go with the men. So she dresses up to be a man. This is why Yi In doesn’t know she is a girl when he sees her.
Hee-Soo hears a lot of hero stories about Yi In from her father. So she worships Yi In. The player badmouths Yi In when he plays Go with Hee-Soo. Hee-Soo takes Yi In’s side. She thinks the prince did a lot for the nation. She doesn’t expect that the man who watches her play Go is Yi In.
She knows his identity after he saved the beauty Hong-Jang. But she asks Hong-Jang not to leak her identity to Yi In. Kim Jong-Bae’s son Kim Myung-Ha wishes to chase Hee-Soo. But she rejects him because she has fallen for Yi In. But she ignores Yi In when he visits her. Because she lost her face in front of her idol.
Having Feelings
Some thugs block Hee-Soo’s way. Yi In shows up. He’s hurt for protecting Hee-Soo. It makes her have feelings for him. She worries about his injury. She sneaks into his room when he falls asleep. But he wakes up. He keeps her and he offers to pay Go with her.
He touches her hand by mistake when he plays Go with her. It makes her nervous. She defeats him. He needs to grant her a wish according to the promise. It’s drizzle outside. Hee-Soo asks Yi In to write down the word “drizzle” on her kifu.
Betrayal
Hee-Soo and her friend Hong-Jang are arrested because they’re suspected to work with the spy Chu Dal-Ha. The king Yi Sun passes away because he was poisoned by someone. Yi In was the person who accompanied Yi Sun before he died. He tells the people that the king gave the throne to him.
But Kim Jong-Bae doesn’t believe what Yi In said. He lets Yoo Hyun-Bo interrogate Hee-Soo. He plans to let Hee-Soo confess that Yi In was the traitor who worked with the spy. Myung-Ha knows that Hee-Soo will be hurt if Hyun-Bo interrogate.
He asks his father Jong-Bae to give the job to him. He visits Hee-Soo in the jail. He asks her to give the false testimony that Yi In worked with the spy of Great Ming. But she rejects it. So he writes the false testimony on his own.
Jong-Bae brings the evidence to Yi In. He tells him that he has known he’s a traitor. But he finds out that his follower Hyun-Bo betrayed him. Hyun-Bo tells the people that Jong-Bae asked Hee-Soo to give a false testimony. Yi In kills Jong-Bae because he refused to admit to be a traitor.
Hee-Soo is punished because she was wronged to give a false testimony. Yi In doesn’t know Hee-Soo didn’t give the false testimony. He’s heartless to reject her when she asks him to forgive her friend Hong-Jang. She remembers her father told her that Yi In will be fooled by some bad persons.
Her Friend’s Death
Hee-Soo and Hong-Jang are exiled because they’re wronged to be traitors. Hee-Soo feels guilty for not giving the false testimony so that she could save Hong-Jang. She finds out that Hong-Jang is dead. She tries to flee. But she’s cut by the bodyguards.
The bodyguards mistake that Hee-Soo is dead. They leave. Hee-Soo swears to take revenge. She comes to the palace when Yi In is hiring a Go bodyguard. She plans to drag him down from his throne. She wishes him to taste the feelings that he’s betrayed by someone.
