This is the recap for Are You the One Episode 3. The young master asks the maid if she got any message of Liu Miantang. She comforts him that they will get message soon. He walks to the window and he finds out that the begonia withered.
The younger master catches the petal of begonia flower. The maid Yun Er claims that she will comfort the younger master no matter Liu Miantang comes back or not. He continues to play the zither. The old servant reports to him that they have found Lady Liu.
Liu Miantang tries to drag Cui Xingzhou out of the house. But he rejects it. She persuades him that it will be good that they give out the invitation since he’s going to go to the Go Club. He claims that he and the guys are just ordinary Go friends. He rejects it. But Madam Li has prepared the carriage.
Cui Xingzhou and Liu Miantang are in the carriage. Cui Xingzhou doesn’t look well. They arrive at the Go Club. They walk into the Go Club. The Go players greet Cui Xingzhou when they call him Jiu Jiu. The Go player invites Cui Xingzhou to play Go with him.
Cui Xingzhou rejects it. Mian Miantang learns that Cui Xingzhou is a good friend of those Go players. She intends to give them the invitations. Cui Xingzhou stops her. He takes her to walk around and he runs into some Go players. He introduces Liu Miantang as his wife to the two Go players.
The Go players call Liu Miantang Madam Jiu. She gives the invitations to them. Liu Miantang and Cui Xingzhou continue to walk around. They run into the Go Club Owner. Liu Miantang asks the boss to teach some chess skills to her husband.
But he reveals Cui Xingzhou is the prince. Liu Miantang wonders if her husband is Huaiyang Prince. Go Club Owner explains it to her that the prince thought Cui Xingzhou’s chess skill is good. Liu Miantang asks Cui Xingzhou if he played Go with the prince.
He explains it to her that the prince saw it when he played Go with the player. It makes her think Huaiyang Prince’s chess skill isn’t good. The banquet is held in the Zhendong Villa. The madams see Liu Miantang’s carriage on the street.
They wonder why Liu Miantang showed it off. The beggar reveals Liu Miantang did it for blocking those women’s mouths. He walks away. Doctor Zhao and Cui Xingzhou are in the Go House. They see Liu Miantang’s carriage. Doctor Zhao mentions Cui Xingzhou arranged a trap banquet but Liu Miantang treated it real. He thinks it’s funny.
He reminds Cui Xingzhou that he has an engagement. He wonders what Lady Lian will think if she sees it. Cui Xingzhou claims that he does it for work. But Doctor Zhou worries that Liu Miantang will be pregnant. Cui Xingzhou sees some spies following the carriage. He believes that the carriage won’t reach Zhendong Villa.
Someone breaks the wine pot in front of the carriage. It startles the horse. The carriage is overturned. Liu Miantang falls off the carriage. Doctor Zhao thinks Cui Xingzhou isn’t a gentleman. The maid helps Liu Miantang up. The servant reports it to Liu Miantang that the carriage is broken. We see Yun Er in the crowd.
Cui Xingzhou sees a man who wears bamboo hat. The horse is ready. Liu Miantang gets on the horse. The maid persuades her not to ride the horse because her hands don’t recover. But Liu Miantang doesn’t want to make Cui Xingzhou lose face. She rides the horse away.
Doctor Zhao thinks Liu Miantang is a special girl. He asks Cui Xingzhong if he intends to continue the work. Cui Xingzhou decides to continue his plan for catching Lu Wen. The guests are at the banquet. Chen Tu is one of the guests.
Chen Tu is drunk to show up in the yard. He asks Cui Xingzhou to come out. He’s taken away by his follower. Madam Li reports to Liu Miantang that Cui Xingzhou is drunk after he drank with his Go friends. She reveals he’s resting in the Tea Pavilion.
She persuades Liu Miantang to go to entertain the guests. Liu Miantang shows up at the banquet. She drinks for the guests. The follower reports to Cui Xingzhou that there’re many guests who don’t come from Spiritual Spring Town. Liu Miantang has a talk with the guest. She goes to take wine for him.
Doctor Zhao drinks with Cui Xingzhou in the room. Cui Xingzhou reveals Lu Wen isn’t in the guests. He believes that Lu Wen wouldn’t come. Doctor Zhao wonders why Cui Xingzhou is sure that the one who talked with Liu Miantang wasn’t Lu Wen.
Yun Er follows Liu Miantang to the yard. Cui Xingzhou mentions the scholar took a look at the maid. He thinks the maid is the real chief. He believes that he would send a personal follower to look into the case if he was Lu Wen. Yun Er follows Liu Miantang to the house.
She takes out a knife and she tries to kill Liu Miantang. But Liu Miantang disappears. Liu Miantang joins the madams in the back yard. Yun Er follows her. She has to conceal her knife. The madam decides to punish Liu Miantang to drink. She asks Yun Er to go to take wine.
Yun Er leaves the yard. The madam reminds Liu Miantang that she needs to sleep over at the villa with Cui Xingzhou. Madam Li reports to Liu Miantang that the master asked her to wait for him in the room. Liu Miantang lets the madams go to the banquet.
Cui Xingzhou tells Doctor Zhao that he plans to let Lu Wen take away Liu Miantang. He thinks he should feed the enemy the bait. Liu Miantang walks out of the room. The crossbowman is going to shoot her. But Madam Li shows up. Liu Miantang decides to go to look for Cui Xingzhou.
Madam Li stops Liu Miantang. She reveals Cui Xingzhou’s Go Master came to check Cui Xingzhou’s chess skill. She reminds Liu Miantang that she will make Cui Xingzhou lose his face in front of his master if she goes to see him. Liu Miantang returns to her room.
The guy visits Liu Miantang’s room. He’s seen by the guard. The guard lets his follower inform Cui Xingzhou that the fish took the bait. The guy blows the smoke into the room. He tries to drug Liu Miantang. She smells the smoke and she flees from the window.
The follower reports to Cui Xingzhou that Lu Wen went to see Liu Miantang. Liu Miantang runs into Fang Xie in the yard. She reveals there’s a bad guy in her yard. Fang Xie goes to summon people. Liu Miantang takes a kettle of hot water. She leaves the yard.
Liu Miantang almost bumps Yun Er. She apologizes to her for burning her. Yun Er tells Liu Miantang that she’s Sun Yunniang. But Liu Miantang doesn’t remember Sun Yunniang. She tells her to leave because there’s a bad guy. The bad guy Chen Tu sneaks into the room. But he doesn’t find Liu Miantang.
Cui Xingzhou walks into the room. Chen Tu mistakes him for Liu Miantang. He tries to hug him. But Cui Xingzhou takes him down. Liu Miantang breaks into the room. She throws the hot water to Cui Xingzhou. He’s hurt. Liu Miantang applied the ointment on Cui Xingzhou’s injury.
She thinks she had to fight with the bad guy with her life if it was late. But Cui Xingzhou thinks Liu Miantang doesn’t have to think about those things because she has great martial arts. She realizes that he’s blaming her for hurting him by mistake.
She apologizes to him. He thinks he shouldn’t blame her for the little wound. She knows he told her a lie. She blows to his injury. He wonders if she intended to trick him. He asks Madam Li to change the water. Fang Xie and Madam Li walk into the room.
Fang Xie changes the water. Madam Li brings the lantern. They leave the room. Cui Xingzhou stares at Liu Miantang. He thinks they didn’t waste the money. She takes a look at the design. She thinks the design is very special. She feels dizzy. It makes him think she remembered something.
But she mentions he didn’t call her wife in front of the guests. She tells him that she wishes to hear it. He calls her wife. She’s happy to touch his injury when she asks him if he feels better. He claims that it’s fine when she doesn’t touch it.
The servants and the maids clean the tables after the guests left. Liu Miantang and Cui Xingzhou leave the villa. Sun Yunniang shows up with her follower. She asks him not to mention the case in front of the young master. They leave. They don’t know someone is tailing them.
Liu Miantang and Cui Xingzhou lie in the bed. He asks her if she remembers something. She remembers the madam persuaded her to sleep with Cui Xingzhou. But she’s not ready for it. Cui Xingzhou asks Liu Miantang to trust him. He tells her what she thinks is very important to him.
She tries to take off her clothes. He stops her. She mentions what Madam Yin said that the banquet means sleeping together. She thinks she should trust him because he gave a lesson to the bad guy for her. But he tells her that he can wait for it.
Liu Miantang meets with Doctor Zhao. He reveals Cui Xingzhou is sick. Cui Xingzhou gets angry. He tries to hit Doctor Zhao with the ink slab after knowing he told Lady Liu that he cannot take duty as a husband. Doctor Zhao explains it to Cui Xingzhou that he did it for not letting the lady look into him.
He comforts him that he told Lady Liu that he has a chance to recover. Cui Xingzhou blames Liu Miantang. But he thinks everything will be over. He believes that Lu Wen will appear soon. He plans to punish Liu Miantang even if he catches Lu Wen.
Liu Miantang walks out of her house. She asks the servant Mo Ru to bring two dishes to Cui Xingzhou. She lets him tell the master to care for his body. She asks him about the bad guy. He reveals the officer let Chen Tong return home since he was burned.
She blames the office for forgiving Chen Tu since he bullied a good girl. Mo Ru explains it to Liu Miantang that Cui Xingzhou is just an ordinary merchant. She blames Huaiyang Prince and she thinks he’s not a good guy. Mo Ru agrees to what she said.
Cui Xingzhou shows up. He thinks the guy Chen Tu should get the treatment since he was burned. But Liu Miantang thinks the prince cannot blame them even if he wants to help Chen Tu. She shows Cui Xingzhou the dishes she cooked for him. She asks him to remember to eat it.
Cui Xingzhou is in the carriage. Mo Ru offers to talk with the officer to punish Chen Tu. Cui Xingzhou rejects it because Liu Miantang isn’t his wife. Doctor Zhao visits Liu Miantang. He gives her a present for the banquet. She takes a look at the painting.

The follower reports to Cui Xingzhou that Liu Miantang took the carriage to leave. Cui Xingzhou takes the carriage to arrive at the intersection. The follower believes that Liu Miantang intends to leave Zhen State. Cui Xingzhou tells the follower to follow Liu Miantang.

Cui Xingzhou and the followers are waiting for Liu Miantang in the bamboo forest. The follower thinks the lady is very sly. But he sees Doctor Zhao with Liu Miantang. The two are happy when they have a talk. A green leaf falls to Cui Xingzhou’s head. Cui Xingzhou grabs his fist tightly.
