This is the recap for Are You the One Episode 10. Madam Li meets with Cui Xingzhou in the yard. She asks him if she needs to go to look for some men to buy the porcelains. He thinks he was wrong and he thinks he shouldn’t treat Liu Miantang as porcelains.
Cui Xingzhou thinks he shouldn’t make the decision to let someone accept Liu Miantang. He thinks it made himself happy but ruined her life. Madam Li laughs. She thinks Cui Xingzhou understood it. She offers to tell Liu Miantang the truth and send her to her grandfather’s family.
Liu Miantang is in her room. She sits in front of the mirror to comb her hair. Cui Xingzhou shows up. He carries a chair and he sits with Liu Miantang. He takes over the comb from her and he combs her hair. She thinks he was weird after they came back from Blue State.
He asks her what kind of life she want to live if she didn’t marry him. She mistakes that he wants to go somewhere. He denies it and he reveals he had a nightmare when he was on the way home. He reveals he dreamed himself to leave and he let her alone.
She comforts him that she won’t alone because she has a lot of business. He asks her if she gives up anything when she owns business. She admits it and she thinks what the scholar said is right that she should raise herself. Cui Xingzhou wonders if Liu Miantang regrets that the scholar didn’t buy her porcelain.
She takes out the porcelain and she asks him to write a poem on the porcelain. He writes a poem on the porcelain and he returns it to her. She thinks he stopped her from running the business because he liked the porcelain very much.
She thinks she shouldn’t look for other buyers since he left the mark. Cui Xingzhou asks Liu Miantang to keep the porcelain. He promises not to stop her if she wants to do anything. She’s close to him. He kisses her forehead. She smiles. He lets her in his arms.
The ladies have a meeting in the yard. They talk about Huaiyang King and Lady Lian’s wedding. They wonder who will get the job from the king. The madam believes that He family will get the job because He Zhen often gave the porcelains to the King’s Palace.
Liu Miantang overhears Madam Xue badmouthing He Zhen that she wants to marry Huaiyang King. Liu Miantang reminds Madam Xue that her tongue will trip herself. She runs into He Zhen and she thinks she shouldn’t endure the madams. He Zhen thinks what the madams said are true.
Liu Miantang asks He Zhen if it’s worth it. He Zhen reveals Huaiyang King saved her when she was young. She thinks Liu Miantang understands her feelings that she wants to get together with the man all her life if she falls for him. She thinks it’s fine even if she needs to be a concubine. She thanks Liu Miantang for helping her. She leaves.
Zhao Quan draws Cui Xingzhou in the room. He mentions Cui Xingzhou was the man Liu Miantang chose. But Cui Xingzhou finds out that Zhao Quan drew him ugly. Zhao Quan mentions Cui Xingzhou wanted to find a good husband for Liu Miantang. But he let the lady be the concubine.
Cui Xingzhou claims that he wanted to marry Liu Miantang because he wished to take duty for the lady. But Zhao Quan doesn’t believe his friend. He mentions he tricked the lady. Cui Xingzhou claims that he will take Liu Miantang to his palace after he marries her.
Zhao Quan reminds Cui Xingzhou that Liu Miantang will get her memory back. He thinks the lady will hate Cui Xingzhou if she knows he’s Huaiyang King. Cui Xingzhou drinks up the tea. He claims that he’s ready for it. Xue Ji arrives at the club. The maid reveals Zi Yu is waiting for Xue Ji. She tells Xue Ji to pour the young master a tea.
Xue Ji walks into the room. She and Zi Yu are separated by a screen. Zi Yu tells Xue Ji not to be nervous. He thinks they can have a talk when they’re separated by the screen. He promises to explain it to her father after he goes back.
Xue Ji reveals she doesn’t fear Zi Yu. She wonders how did he become a bandit. He reveals he did it for achieving his dream. He tells her to leave shen he coughs. But she opens the screen and she pours him a tea. She hands over the tea to him.
Zi Yu runs into Sun Yunniang in the garden. She learns that everything ran well. She thinks they’re close to their plan if he marries to Shi family. But he points out that he’s far away from Liu Miantang. Liu Miantang cuts the vegetables in the yard.
Cui Xingzhou volunteers to help her because he thinks the scissors are too heavy. He reveals he wants to tell her a thing about Huaiyang King. She knows he wants to tell her about Huaiyang King marrying a concubine. She’s furious to tell him that the king is a bad guy.
He tries to explain it. But she complains it to him that He Zhen wanted to be Huaiyang King’s concubine. She reveals Huaiyang King saved He Zhen when she was young. She thinks He Zhen shouldn’t give herself to the king since she doesn’t know his personality. She mentions she saw the king before. She reveals the the guy is aged.
Cui Xingzhou wonders why Liu Miantang will think if Huaiyang King is handsome like him. She thinks she should wipe her eyes so that she won’t be attracted by the beauty. She worries that the king will bully He Zhen and ruin the girl’s life. She complains that she doesn’t want to be Huaiyang King’s concubine.
Zhao Quan meets with Cui Xingzhou in the room. He persuades him to accept He Zhen. Zhao Quan returns home. Lian Binglan runs into him. She reveals she came to give her aunt the melon. She reveals she heard the rumor from the meeting. She minded it since it’s related to the king.
She mentions what the ladies said that the king has a woman in Spiritual Spring Town. The king wanted the woman to be a concubine. She thinks Zhao Quan knows it since he’s close to the king. He reveals it was Lady He. But he tells her that he was just kidding. He tells her to wait for her wedding.
Lian Binglan returns home. Madam Lian shows her the prescription. She thinks the herbs are for princess. She worries that the woman will have a baby. She decides to go to see her older sister. Lian Binglan stops her mother. She thinks she can only make Cui Xingzhou hate her.
She mentions Cui Xingzhou plans to marry a concubine. She decides to pick the girl he likes to the palace. But Madam Lian thinks they cannot pick up the North Street girl because she’s lowly. Lian Binglan persuades her mother to pick up He Zhen because He Zhen’s family is a royal merchant. Madam Lian agrees to what Lian Binglan said. She thinks they should win He Zhen over.
Lian Binglan walks into the store. She greets He Zhen and she mentions they had a meeting in the King’s Palace. He Zhen meets with Liu Miantang in the yard. She thinks Lian Binglan is a good person. She mentions Lian Binglan asked her to send some porcelains to the King’s Palace.
Liu Miantang is told that Lian Binglan asked He Zhen to be Huaiyang King’s concubine. She reports it to Cui Xingzhou. He’s scared. Lian Binglan drinks tea with Princess Dowager in the yard. Cui Xingzhou shows up. He takes Lian Binglan to the room.
She reveals she went to Spiritual Spring Town and she invited some girls to her house. He thinks the tea meeting is good. But he tells her not to invite the guild girls. She explains it to him that she wanted to look for a girl to take care of him. She asks him for his mercy. But he thinks she did nothing wrong. He leaves the room.
He Zhen visits Lian Binglan. She shows the servant the invitation Lian Binglan gave her. But she’s told that Lady Lian doesn’t want to see guest. The servant closes the gate. Cui Xingzhou combs Liu Miantang’s hair in the room. He reveals Huaiyang King doesn’t marry He Zhen.
But she thinks He Zhen was given up by the king. She complains it to Cui Xingzhou that Huaiyang King let Lady Lian rejected He Zhen. She thinks the guy didn’t care others. She reveals He Zhen cried after she got mocked. She thinks the girl’s heart was broken.
Liu Miantang thinks the ending is good. She wonders why He Zhen wanted to be the guy’s concubine. Cui Xingzhou points out that it’s Huaiyang King’s concubine. Liu Miantang talks back. She thinks she wouldn’t do so. Cui Xingzhou asks her if she agrees to be a concubine if Huaiyang King respects her.
She points out that the king wouldn’t let her under someone else if he respects her. She mentions the family rule her mother left to her that she shouldn’t be a concubine even if she’s poor. She thinks what her mother said is right.
He asks her what she will do if she loves Huaiyang King. She reveals she has to end the love relationship. It makes him upset. Liu Miantang thinks Cui Xingzhou concealed something from her. She asks her husband if he wants to marry a concubine. She laughs and she tells him that she was kidding.
Zhao Quan draws Cui Xingzhou. He mistakes that Liu Miantang beat Cui Xingzhou after he saw Cui Xingzhou’s dark circles. Cui Xingzhou reveals he didn’t sleep last night. He thinks Liu Miantang won’t accept it if he tells her the truth. He mentions the lady didn’t want to be a concubine.
Zhao Quan mentions Liu Miantang is just an ordinary merchant’s daughter. He thinks she doesn’t deserve the concubine of the king. He wonders if she wants to be a princess. Cui Xingzhou claims that he won’t marry Liu Miantang. Because she’s just a chess piece. Zhao Quan thinks it will be good if Cui Xingzhou thinks so.
He Zhen’s maid visits Liu Miantang. She gets on knees to her and she asks her to save He Zhen. She cries to tell her that He Zhen is sick. She thinks He Zhen won’t last three days because she refused to eat. She reveals they invited some doctors. The doctors told them that He Zhen got mental illness.
Liu Miantang takes Zhao Quan to see He Zhen. Zhao Quan tells the lady that she can marry a good husband even if she failed the concubine of Huaiyang King. Liu Miantang wonders how did Zhao Quan knew it since she didn’t tell it to him.
He reveals he heard it from someone. He Zhen’s second sister-in-law mentions everyone knows He Zhen wants to marry Huaiyang King. He Zhen claims that it’s her business. But her sister-in-law scolds her. The maid asks Zhao Quan to save He Zhen.
He agrees to give a prescription to He Zhen. But he asks her not to go out within three months. Liu Miantang thinks the prescription is weird. He comforts He Zhen that she will recover if she listens to him. Liu Miantang brings the snack to Cui Xingzhou. She notes that her husband doesn’t look well.
He complains it to her that he didn’t write the words on the porcelain well. She laughs and feeds him the snack. They find out that the neighbor Master Zhang broke the wall of their house. Liu Miantang blames the guy for ruining the wall of her family.

He claims that he was digging the cellar of his house. He mocks Cui Xingzhou and he thinks he’s a useless husband. Cui Xingzhou is furious to have a fight with Master Zhang. Liu Miantang drives the guy away. Cui Xingzhou tells his wife that he didn’t lose anything. She’s happy to kiss his face.
