These are the Recap & Ending for A Journey to Love: Episode 2. Lou Qingqiang walks out of the burned house. He scolds the officer for losing many lives. He takes a look at the dead bodies. He finds out that there’s a female dead body disappearing.
Who Kills Ling Long?
Note: From here on out there are specific plot spoilers for A Journey to Love: Episode 2.
Ren Ruyi pours the wine to her wound. She takes out the antidote which can make her lose her internal force. She takes the antidote. She remembers Mr. Yue betrayed them and Lou Qingqiang confessed that he killed Ling Long. She writes down the names of Zhao Ji, Mr. Yue and Lou Qingqiang.
The bodyguard finds the badge. He hands over the badge to Lou Qingqiang. Lou Qingqiang finds out that there was a person stealing the dead body after she killed his man. He tells the bodyguard to go to look for the person. Lou Qingqiang takes his men to look for Ren Ruyi.
Ren Ruyi catches the chance to flee. Lou Qingqiang breaks into the room. The bodyguard shows the clothes to Lou Qingqiang. Lou Qingqiang finds out that the killer is a female. Ren Ruyi flies over the wall before Lou Qingqiang catches her.
She gets into Ning Yuanzhou’s house. She sees the coffin of Ning Yuanzhou. Lou Qingqiang runs into Zhao Ji. He tells his follower not to tell others that there was a Red Clothes Guard fleeing. He thinks they will be killed if he does so.
He decides not to look into it. But he asks the follower to let Mr. Yue look into it. Because he thinks he won’t be affected. Zhao Ji arrives at Ning Yuanzhou’s house with his men. Yuan Lu casts the darts to Zhao Ji and his men. He blames him for not speaking.
Is Ning Yuanzhou Alive?
Zhao Ji wonders why Yuan Lu is at Ning Yuanzhou’s house. But Yuan Lu refuses to leak it. He reminds Zhao Ji that he’s not the man of Six Paths Hall. He throws to explode Zhao Ji. But Zhao Ji doesn’t believe that Yuan Lu will ruin Ning Yuanzhou’s house.
Yuan Lu stops the bodyguards when they try to break into Ning Yuanzhou’s house. He tells them not to disturb the soul of Ning Yuanzhou. But Zhao Ji asks the bodyguards to break into the house. Yuan Lu hurts Zhao Ji’s house when he fights with the body.
Zhao Ji is furious to catch Yuan Lu. He walks into the hall. He opens the coffin of Ning Yuanzhou when Ren Ruyi sleeps in the coffin. Yuan Lu blames Zhao Ji for making Ning Yuanzhou be killed. He thinks he’s not a human. But Zhao Ji tells Yuan Lu that Ning Yuanzhou doesn’t trust him.
He threatens to burn Ning Yuanzhou’s house if Ning Yuanzhou doesn’t show up. He sets a fire in the hall. Ning Yuanzhou shows up before Zhao Ji hurts Yuan Lu. He saves Yuan Lu. Yuan Lu cries after he found out that Ning Yuanzhou is alive.
Zhao Ji tells Ning Yuanzhou that he knew the person was him after he heard someone bought the pastries. He asks the bodyguards to catch Ning Yuanzhou. Ning Yuanzhou kidnaps Zhao Ji. Zhao Ji reveals he knows the message of his sixteen brothers.
Ning Yuanzhou follows Zhao Ji into the hall. He pays his respect to his dead brother. He asks Zhao Ji to tell him the whereabouts of Chai Ming and his brothers. But Zhao Ji asks Ning Yuanzhou to drink with him. He reminds him that he’s just a kitchen soldier. He throws a drink at him and he tells him not to treat himself as a role.
He thinks his uncle Prime Minister Zhang can dig Ning Yuanzhou’s family tomb even if Ning Yuanzhou hurt him. Ning Yuanzhou agrees to what Zhao Ji said. But he reveals he only wants to know the whereabouts of Chai Ming and his brothers.
He asks Zhao Ji if he sent his brothers to guard Emperor. Zhao Ji promises to leak it as long as Ning Yuanzhou completes Prime Minister Zhang’s task. He reveals Zhang Song needed someone to save Emperor. He mentions Ning Yuanzhou knows An Kingdom most.
Zhao Ji tells Ning Yuanzhou that he can get his position back if he completes the task. But Ning Yuanzhou wishes to know Chai Ming and his brothers’ whereabouts first. He thinks Zhao Ji came to his house because Zhang Song gave him an order.
Zhao Ji confesses it to Ning Yuanzhou that his brothers were caught by An Kingdom. He thinks he can save his brothers if he goes to An Kingdom. But Ning Yuanzhou isn’t interested in it. He mentions he’s not the leader of those guys. He asks Zhao Ji to tell Zhang Song that he won’t go to An Kingdom.
Zhao Ji throws a fit to Ning Yuanzhou. Ning Yuanzhou mentions the rules of Six Paths Hall. He kills Zhao Ji. He tells the bodyguards that Zhao Ji kicked his father’s memorial tablet. He thinks the guy deserves the death. He reveals he’s going to leave the capital after he buries his foster father.
The bodyguard persuades Ning Yuanzhou to continue to be their chief. But Ning Yuanzhou rejects it. The bodyguards carry Zhao Ji away. Yuan Lu blames Ning Yuanzhou for not letting him know that he pretended to die. He reveals he thought he passed away.
Ning Yuanzhou apologizes to Yuan Lu. He reveals he didn’t want to play it after Zhang Song supported Zhao Ji. He thinks Zhang Song won’t let him go if he didn’t pretend to die. Yuan Lu claims that he’s going to follow Ning Yuanzhou no matter where he goes. He thinks he should watch his grave even if Ning Yuanzhou is dead.
Ning Yuanzhou agrees to it. He lets Yuan Lu go to close the door. He hits the coffin and it makes Ren Ruyi come out from the coffin. She falls to the floor. Ren Yuanzhou thinks the one Lou Qingqiang wanted to catch was Ren Ruyi. He thinks she’s a spy of Red Clothes Guards.
Ren Ruyi denies it. She asks Ning Yuanzhou for his mercy. He wonders why she used the skill of Red Clothes Guards if she’s not Red Clothes Guard. She pretends not to know Red Clothes Guards. She claims that she’s just a dancer at the club.
She reveals her sisters didn’t come back after they went to dance at Shiyi Mansion. She cries to tell Ning Yuanzhou that the officer of Six Paths Hall thought the song her sisters sang cursed Emperor. The officer killed her sisters.
She reveals the officers came to the club to catch them when they thought Ling Long is a spy. She cries to tell Ning Yuanzhou that she didn’t want to die and the guard of the cell hurt her. Yuan Lu tells Ning Yuanzhou what Ren Ruyi said is true. He reveals Zhao Ji wronged the girls as spies for money.
Yuan Lu comforts Ren Ruyi that she’s fine because Zhao Ji is dead. He helps her up. But Ning Yuanzhou attacks her. She’s scared to ask him for his mercy. Yuan Lu comforts her that Ning Yuanzhou just wanted to test her. He tells Ning Yuanzhou that the girl isn’t Red Clothes Guard because she didn’t know how to avoid his attack.
He reports it to him that the girl doesn’t have internal force. Ning Yuanzhou grabs Ren Ruyi’s hand. He finds out that her core is actually empty. She passes out in his arms. The officer of Six Paths Hall Jiang Qiong visits Danyang Prince. He thanks him for picking him back to the capital.
Danyang Prince asks Jiang Qiong about Emperor. Jiang Qiu reveals Emperor is alive. He adds that he and Emperor were caught by Marquis Changqing.
It flashes back. Emperor fights with the enemies in the battlefield. He asks Chai Ming to protect him with the brothers of Six Paths Hall. Marquis Changqing rides horse to show up. He shoots some of the soldiers of Wu Kingdom. She tries to shoot Emperor Wu.
Chai Ming protects Emperor Wu with his body. Marquis Changqing Li Tongguang greets Emperor Wu. But he arrests him. Emperor Wu is taken to the camp of An Kingdom. Emperor Wu refuses to eat in his tent. Jiang Qiong joins him in the tent.

Li Tongguang lets Jiang Qiong take a message to Zhang Song or Empress that An Kingdom doesn’t intend to keep Emperor Wu. They ask him for 100,000 gold. Jiang Qiong is going to leave the camp. He asks Li Tongguang to be nice to Emperor Wu. He threatens to attack An Kingdom if Li Tongguang bullies Emperor Wu.

Episode 2 of A Journey to Love ends with the chancellors asking Danyang Prince to give them an order. Queen thinks she shouldn’t let Prince Ying go because his leg was broken for saving her. She mentions she promised to protect Prince Ying. But the maid thinks Queen can do nothing even if she goes to the court.
