The drunk man drinks Yan Zhen’s wine when he is hung. Yan Zhen asks drunk Man to release him, but he throws the silver dollars on the ground and takes them away when nobody picks them up.
Xie Xiang runs with the students and remembers Xiao Jun told her not to expose herself since she dressed up to be a male. Xie Xiang said that she will protect herself. The officer joins Zhong Xi and thinks it’s to hard for the students since they just came. But Zhong Xi thinks the students will turn over the sky if he doesn’t treat them strictly. He asks him if he wants to treat them as normal new recruits, and Zhong Xi thinks he needs to make an example because people wish them to make mistakes. He asks him about the job of Director Guo, and Zhong Xi tells the officer to ignore Director Guo.
Xie Xiang doesn’t want to continue running, and Huang Song stops to accompany her. He says that he won’t eat and sleeps at training ground with her. But Xie Xiang runs as she wants to eat.
Xie Xiang mistakes that the room she lives is a single room and goes to take a shower. Yan Zhen walks in and finds her women underwear. Xie Xiang is furious to take away the women underwear from Yan Zhen, and asks him where he is there. Yan Zhen says that it’s his room and thinks Xiang Xiang thought only she would live there. He thinks she is psychopath to conceal the women underwear as a man.
Xie Xiang doesn’t want to live with Yan Zhen and decides to ask instructor to change room. Zhong Xi calls the students out and tells them that all of their things are responsible by him. He says that he is an easy-going person, but he won’t be easy-going if they make him unhappy. He tells them the rules of dormitory, and says that someone needs to take big bath for one day if he is late for 10 minutes. Ji Jin asks what is taking big bath, Zhong Xi tells him that he will learn it after sleeping a little more.

Xie Xiang thanks Yan Zhen but he asks her to wash his socks and says that he won’t look down on her psycho hobby. Ji Jin and the punished students ask Jun Shan to open the door, but he ignores them. Wen Zhong feels cold and hugs Ji Jin. Xie Xiang takes the music box out of her suitcase, and remembers Liang Chen left on her bed when she fell asleep.
The waiter gives the wine to the drunk man Director Guo, and he asks him about the female boss of the bar. The waiter says that she went to talk business as she needs to pay the rent to Director Guo.
The female boss Sister Yu returns, and the waiter tells her about Director Guo’s coming. She complains that Director Guo is drunk since he just came. Director Guo asks Little Liu for a glass of wine, but Sister Yu tells him to drink water. He thinks she is with blood smell and asks her to pour wine for him. He asks her what she sells since she has a bar. She wants to sell herself, but he says that he cannot afford it. She laughs and mentions Arsenal Military Academy’s opening. But he thinks it isn’t his business and falls asleep. Sister Yu tells Little Liu to prepare some dishes for Director Guo.
Zhong Xi gathers the students and mentions Germany and Japan fight a battle in Shan Dong. The people blames the army of China, instead of Germany and Japan. Zhong Xi reminds the students that Fengan will be next city gets attacked, and thinks they can only rely on themselves when the plane of enemies come. He mentions that they’re seventh period of Arsenal Military Academy, and thinks their qualities are the worst. But he thinks they’re with courage when people flee. He promises to give them the most cruel training for paying back their courage. He asks them if they’re confident to protect their nation and people.
The students say yes, except Huang Song, who burps as he ate too many eggs. The soldiers take Yan Zhen arriving and report that Yan Zhen had slept in the dormitory. Zhong Xi asks Yan Zhen if he heard what he said. Yan Zhen explains that he cannot remember it since he said too many words, and accuses Xie Xiang of not calling him. Zhong Xi tells Xie Xiang to get punished with Yan Zhen if he is late again tomorrow. Yan Zhen wants to leave but Zhong Xi asks him to take a big bath. The soldiers walk Yan Zhen and tells him that it’s very comfortable. The students get train, and Wen Zhong pushes Xie Xiang off the tower. Huang Song gets her up and tells her to carry on when she climbs under the barbed wire.
The soldiers find out that Yan Zhen cannot carry on in the water dungeon, and think he will quit tomorrow. Huang Song and Xie Xiang carry the wood walking in the rain, and he wants to carry it alone. Zhong Xi gets off the car and abuses her as the trash. Huang Song tries to explain for Xie Xiang, but Zhong Xi whips the wood and asks Huang Song to shut up. He thinks Huang Song can only make her die early at the battlefield if he helps her. Xie Xiang remembers Xiang Cheng took her away when she was harassed by thugs.
The officer thinks Zhong Xi lectured well, but Zhong Xi thinks he is old and cannot feel the feeling of boiling passion. He thinks the young men with the hot blood and they’re more likely to believe wish. Yan Zhen climbs out of the water dungeon, and the soldiers beat him. So he has to return to the water dungeon. Huang Song worries about Xie Xiang as she still didn’t return. But Mr. Song tells the student to eat.
