In the 3th episode of SKY Castle Korean Drama Recap, Seo-Jin fires Joo-Young but she cannot find the suitable coach for her daughter. Her daughter forces her to get the teacher back. Soo-Im joins the book club, and finds out the books are hard for children and adults.

Seo-Jin thinks Joo-Young destroyed Myung-Joo’s family, and told Young-Jae to take revenge for his mother. Joo-Young claims she just used his desires to help him get the best results. Seo-Jin thinks Joo-Young will kill her like she did on Myung-Joo. But Joo-Young claims sort out family problems isn’t her responsibility. Seo-Jin says she cannot trust Joo-Young to coach her daughter. So Joo-Young promises to give her a refund.
Ye-Seo steps outside, Teacher Jo sends a message to her that he cannot pick her up anymore. So she calls her mother and tells Seo-Jin that Teacher Jo didn’t pick her. Seo-Jin is shocked and says she will get her in person. Teacher Jo waits Joo-Young at the parking lot, and asks her if Seo-Jin found out it. She says their best for the client, but he points out that Young-Jae didn’t register. She says they got him into SNU College of Medicine.
She drinks wine at home and remembers she told Young-Jae a story when he doesn’t want to study. The sons passed the state exam and made their parents happier than ever before, and then died that very instant. That’s how they got their revenge. Just then Young-Jae calls in, but Joo-Young rejects it and blocks his number.

Soo-Im mentions Ye-Bin told her that Myung-Joo killed herself, Soo-Chang and Young-Jae left, but everyone pretends as if they never existed. Soo-Im thinks they got lucky at the expense of the previous residents’ misfortune. Chi-Young thinks she felt jinxed. She suggests to pray for the remaining family. He agrees and teases his wife. Woo-Joo hears the voice and tells his dead mom that his dad is laughing.
Yang-Woo sees AOA’s Chan Mi outside the hospital, and reports it to Joon-Sang that she came there for back surgery. He mentions Chan Mi is president’s son’s friend, and asks Joon-Sang to win president with the chance. Just then president calls in and summons Joon-Sang. But he just confirms if the operating room is booked or not, and asks Chi-Young to do the surgery.
Yang-Woo dances with other doctors, and they talk about how they will treat Chan Mi. But Joon-Sang breaks into with temper and asks them to get lost.
Seung-Hye visits Soo-Im with sandwiches and asks for picnic. Soo-Im accepts it, so they sit at the beautiful park. Soo-Im asks Seung-Hye about Myung-Joo. Seung-Hye reveals she happened to see the couple fighting since they were known as a loving couple. She says what they see isn’t always the whole truth, and wommen in Sky Castle only show each other good things. Seung-Hye asks Soo-Im how her son get good grades without any private education, Soo-Im says she just thinks from Woo-Joo’s perspective, and reveals she is a children book author. So Seung-Hye invites her to join their book club.
Soo-Im is interested in the book club after Seung-Hye shows her the website. Ye-Seo asks Seo-Jin why she fired Joo-Young. But Seo-Jin cannot tell her daughter the truth, and promises to find the coach who is better than Joo-Young. But the teacher asks Seo-Jin to get her team student instead of single one.
Soo-Im thinks the kids are miserable to read the books and write report. But Woo-Joo wants to join. Jin-Hee is tired when reading the book and curses Ye-Seo. She finds out Soo-Im joined the book club and thinks it was Seung-Hye. So she reports it to Seo-Jin. Seo-Jin threatens to quit with her daughter if Soo-Im joins.
Jin-Hee tells Seung-Hye that she and Seo-Jin will quit if she lets Soo-Im join. So Seung-Hye chooses to leave. Jin-Hee keeps her and claims it’s just Seo-Jin’s intention not her, and complains that she wanted to hit Seo-Jin when she raised her hand. Seung-Hye tells Jin-Hee that Soo-Im is a writer.
Soo-Im thinks the children are miserable to read the difficult books, and suggests Woo-Joo to quit. But he wants to give it a try. Seo-Jin meets with Do-Hoon’s mother, wants to team up Ye-Seo and Do-Hoon to study. But Do-Hoon’s mother reveals Ye-Seo thought Do-Hoon was stupid.
Seo-Jin scolds Ye-Seo for calling Do-Hoon idiot. Ye-Seo realizes her mother wants her to study with Do-Hoon, and asks Seo-Jin to call Joo-Young. She calls Teacher Jo. But Joo-Young stops Teacher Jo from picking the phone. Ye-Seo yells at Seo-Jin and asks to get Joo-Young back.
Drunk Yang-Woo returns home with his colleagues. Jin-Hee asks the doctors to get her husband to his room, and is furious when Yang-Woo wants to change the wife. She greets Ye-Seo, but Ye-Seo ignores her. So Jin-Hee asks Seo-Jin what’s the matter. Seo-Jin reveals she fired Joo-Young. Jin-Hee is furious and asks Seo-Jin to reconsider it. Just then Joon-Sang calls Seo-Jin, so she returns home to stop the father and daughter’s fight.
Ye-Seo holds the books walking, Ki-Joon rides his bicycle to frighten her. She sits on Woo-Joo’s legs, and he asks her if she is ok. She is lost when staring at him, but yells at him that she is fine. He is shocked that she read so many books, she says it isn’t original version and picks the books to leave. Seo-Joon greets Woo-Joo and welcomes him to the abyss, and envies him because he can quit anytime. Woo-Joo thinks Seo-Joon means the book club.
Seo-Jin and Jin-Hee runs into Soo-Im outside the book club. Soo-Im reveals she just attends it with a hobby. Jin-Hee thinks Soo-Im isn’t an author since she didn’t show on internet. Min-Hyuk arrives, Seo-Jin praises his efforts. He is pleased.
Ye-Seo talks about the Nietzsche’s self-appreciation in the book club, but Seo-Joon thinks the human mind camel, carrying a load that isn’t its own across a desert, which likes them. So he feels sad. Min-Hyuk scolds Seo-Joon and thinks he should learn from lion.
Madam Yoon calls Seo-Jin during the book meeting, and asks for Ye-Seo’s study with the coach. Seo-Jin claims she is distracted, but Madam Yoon thinks she shouldn’t be since the coach does the job. Min-Hyuk asks Soo-Im to share what she thinks since she is a book author.
Woo-Joo thinks Ye-Seo can overcome the boundaries and become someone amazing, instead of using a friend to better herself. But Min-Hyuk says the weak always found power uncomfortable, but power is good. Soo-Im complains that it’s utter comedy, and asks Min-Hyuk why he selected the book. He says it required reading for middle and high school students. She sneers and thinks the education system is nonsensical. She asks Ye-Bin if the book was fun. Ye-Bin says it was freakishly boring. Soo-Im says the book is too much since it’s difficult to children and adults.
She thinks Min-Hyuk was wrong to scold Seo-Joon. But Seo-Jin mentions Min-Hyuk helped Ye-Seo to improve herself. Ye-Seo thinks Soo-Im is attacking their group. But Soo-Im points out that she is saying there is a problem. Jin-Hee mentions the kids are getting higher essay scores. Soo-Im suspects if the kids need the group discussion. Seo-Jin suggests Soo-Im to quit. But Ye-Bin points out the discussion about sharing one’s views freely. So Min-Hyuk suggests to put it to a vote.
Min-Hyuk returns home with his family, and asks Seung-Hye why she brought the woman to their book club. But she says that he approved her request. So he scolds the kids for sharing the thinking in the book club. Seung-Hye asks the kids to go upstairs, and says she will fix dinner. Min-Hyuk throws his bag to release the temper.
Jin-Hee walks Seo-Jin and thinks Soo-Im shouldn’t lecture Min-Hyuk. Seo-Jin thinks Soo-Im won’t be able to set foot, and receives a call from Do-Hoon’s mom who tells her that Sung-Jae’s mom is against it. So Seo-Jin offers to meet with Sung-Jae’s Mom.
Seo-Jin arrives at the cafe and goes to get coffees for the ladies. But they leave. Do-Hoon’s Mom tries to keep Sung-Jae’s Mom. Sung-Jae’s Mom walks to Seo-Jin, and says Ye-Seo is too self-centered and bullheaded. So her son doesn’t want to study with her.
Ye-Seo blames Soo-Im for calling her a lame, and thinks the book club will disband because of her. Soo-Im thinks the girl only considers herself. Ye-Seo walks to her mom and tells her that Soo-Im called her lame. Seo-Jin asks her daughter to go home, and tells Soo-Im, “Shall I rip your lips off?” Soo-Im laughs and recognizes Seo-Jin.
