Sakamoto Days Episode 6 Recap: Heisuke Mashimo

The legend hitman Sakamoto steps in the assassination life because of an accident. But he can deal with every hitman easily. There’s a different killer Heisuke Mashimo coming to his store in Sakamoto Days Episode 6.

Shin and Lu Shaotang are cleaning and fixing the door and the windows that were ruined by other hitmen. They cannot avoid the fight because of the assassination. Sakamoto thinks he needs to decorate the store. But he’s broke. Shin thinks they can resolve all the problems as long as they win the game.

A strange man Heisuke Mashimo appears when Shin and Sakamoto fantasize about getting the bonus. He takes out the photo of young Sakamoto and he begins to look for the person. He asks the people about Taro Sakamoto. Shin is confused because he knows the person who stands in front of him is his big brother Sakamoto.

Sakamoto pretends he’s never heard of the guy. He claims that he’s just a part-timer. He notes that Heisuke Mashimo is confused. He adds that there’re many Sakamoto stores. He thinks Heisuke Mashimo got the wrong store. Heisuke Mashimo believes the sly man.

Shin wonders if the guy is a hitman. He reads his thought and he finds out that he’s a fool. Heisuke Mashimo learns that there’re many Sakamoto stores. He thinks he and his bird Piisuke have to starve. Heisuke Mashimo wants to confirm if Sakamoto is there. Shin drives the guy out of the store. But he sees his poor looks.

Heisuke Mashimo actually doesn’t have money to buy food. The kind Sakamoto gives some buns to the poor man. Shin thinks the hitman is very stupid.

The feed cost of Piisuke is 20,000 Yen every month. So Heisuke Mashimo controls his living cost within 2000 Yen. He can resolve all the problems as long as he kills Sakamoto. But it’s all gone to hell. He returns to the rooftop and he begins to lose hope. His tent is going to be broken. How will he live without the tent? The tent was given by his grandmother who lives in the countryside. He swears to move into the big house once he makes a name for himself. Letting the guy who fired him regret. The wind blows Heisuke Mashimo’s small house away. The wind brought a flyer. The bounty is one million Yen if he wins the survival game.

The next day, Sakamoto and his friends come to the shopping street for taking part in the survival game. They run into the strange guy. One million Yen is a hug cake for the poor Heisuke Mashimo. But he finds out that it’s a group game. He’s told that he needs two teammates if he wants to take part in the game.

Heisuke Mashimo is helpless. But he sees Sakamoto and Shin. He begs Sakamoto so that the three team up. The rules of the game are very simple. The whole street is the scope of the game. Everyone uses paint bullets. You’ll get paint once you get hit. It also means being eliminated. The people who take part in the game need to stay and clean up after the game. The game begins after the players are ready.

The team is shot in the head. The one who shot was Heisuke Mashimo. Shin is surprised that the guy shot the targets in such a short period of time. But he and Sakamoto are good hitmen as well. Sakamoto team gets first place in the score. Sakamoto and his friends eliminate a lot of teams in the end.

The crowd thinks those guys will win. Heisuke Mashimo is moved. He thinks it’s the real group game. He likes the feelings that giving his back to others. He doesn’t suspect the two. He thinks Sakamoto and Shin are geeks. Sakamoto and Shin feel relieved because they thought they were exposed.

Lu Shaotang cheers those guys. She praises Sakamoto and she leaks his name. She thinks his fat is fantastic. Heisuke Mashimo stops after he heard the girl’s words. He realizes that his teammate is his target. But Sakamoto isn’t like the man in the photo.

Lu Shaotang explains that it’s the photo when the store owner didn’t gain weight. But you will see that they’re same, according to the glasses and the hairstyle. Shin covers the girl’s mouth. The three laugh after they had an eye contact. But they point their guns at each other.

Heisuke Mashimo claims that he hates liars. But other teams catch the chance to attack them. Sakamoto an Shin retreat. It gives Heisuke Mashimo the time to change his weapons. He has a sniper gun in his hand and his target is Sakamoto.

But Sakamoto reacts very fast. He blocks the bullet with his hand. Heisuke Mashimo keeps a distance from the man. He’s unhappy even if the assassination target isn’t close to him. Because he treated Sakamoto and Shin as his friends.

Shin and Sakamoto go to a covert place. The key to fighting a sniper is not to expose your location. Sakamoto shows his head. A bullet shoots him. He and Shin are shocked. They think the bullet was too accurate. When did they expose their location?

They don’t know Piisuke flying through the air. He got a lock on their position. Heisuke Mashimo confirms that Sakamoto avoided the shot through the parrot. He thinks the guy did a good job. Because nobody could capture his bullets.

Shin overhears Heisuke Mashimo’s words. He thinks the guy shot randomly. But Sakamoto senses a hint of something wrong. He thinks it’s a customized ricochet. It’s true that the bullet is elusive because it will rebound. Shin teases that they were teammates. He wonders why they have to kill each other.

Heisuke Mashimo points out that they were hitmen before becoming teammates. He thinks he only needs to confirm if he hit the target. Another attack comes. Shin and Sakamoto don’t know how to deal with the ricochet. Heisuke Mashimo is anxious after he missed again and again.

He was not as good as the others when he was in the hitman school. He only showed exceptional level on firearms. He became a hitman after he caught the skill. But he became a trash in the company because he was only good with guns. He was scolded after he got his colleagues involved. Everyone thought he’s not a good hitman. He was fired in the end. Heisuke Mashimo wanted to prove that he’s a good hitman. He saw the bounty of Sakamoto. He had a reason to kill the guy.

Heisuke Mashimo returns to the reality. He speaks out his history. The microphone isn’t off. Shin and Sakamoto overhear it. Shin wonders why Heisuke Mashimo cares for what others think. He thinks it’s not important at all. He persuades Heisuke Mashimo to believe himself.

Shin takes off his earphone. He yells at the earphone. I have to say that the method is very good. Shin finds Heisuke Mashimo’s location through the scaring. Sakamoto casts a stone at Heisuke Mashimo when he’s targeted. He ruins his gun.

Sakamoto team gets the first place of the survival game. Heisuke Mashimo cries alone after Sakamoto won a prize. Sakamoto walks to Heisuke Mashimo. He comforts him that he’s an outstanding hitman. He shares 50 Yen with him because the bounty was used to compensate for the street and stores that were ruined by Heisuke Mashimo.

Sakamoto feels embarrassed because he didn’t take any money back after he won. But his wife doesn’t complain. She doesn’t care for others as long as her husband is fine. Shin thinks the two get along sweetly. He wonders how did the two meet. He doesn’t know Sakamoto fell in love with his wife at first sight. The girl’s innocent smiling melted his heart. She saw the blood on his clothes. She was considerate to take the band-aid for him.

Shin doesn’t expect that Sakamoto has a pure side. But the idea is gone when Sakamoto tries to kill him. Sakamoto scolds Shin for reading his wife’s thoughts.
