The gunshot draws Jun-Ho’s attention in Squid Game Season 2 Episode 2. He goes upstairs. The recruiter is dead. Gi-Hun remembers what the guy said. He begins to search the recruiter for the clue. Meanwhile, Jun-Ho searches the rooms one by one. He finds Woo-Seok who’s tied up in the bed.
Jun-Ho gets Gi-Hun’s room number from Woo-Seok. He breaks into the room when Gi-Hun finds an envelope. Woo-Seok shows up. He stuns Jun-Ho and he saves Gi-Hun who’s under arrest. The card is written “HDH Club on October 31, midnight”.
Woo-Seok cleans the scene. Gi-Hun begins to interrogate Jun-Ho. He remembers he saw the cop before. Jun-Ho reminds Gi-Hun that they had a meeting on the island. The players were rioting. The soldiers went to suppress it. Jun-Ho was one of the soldiers. He disguised to be a soldier for looking for his older brother.
Gi-Hun explains it to Jun-Ho that the recruiter killed himself after he was defeated in the game. He reveals he wants to find the person who manages the game for Player 001. So Squid Game will be ended completely. Jun-Ho knows Gi-Hun is talking about his older brother. He conceals it and he only leaks that the guy Front Man wore a black mask.
Jun-Ho volunteers to join Gi-Hun. Gi-Hun takes Jun-Ho and Woo-Seok to the little base in the hotel. It’s placed the money he won and the weapons he bought these years. He bought several rooms and he remodeled it into range. He tells Woo-Seok to go to look for some helpers. He plans to take action on October 31.
North Korean refugee No-Eul sleeps on the street. It breaks the rules. The cop asks her to drive away her car. The next day, there’s a parade event for the Halloween at the amusement park. The dolls give candies to the little girls at the roadside. But the little girl Na-Yeon who wears a hat is ignored. Na-Yeon is lost. A rabbit doll hands over the candy to Na-Yeon.
Na-Yeon gives the drawing to the rabbit doll for thanking her. Na-Yeon’s father Kyung-Suk is anxious to take away the little girl. We learn that the rabbit doll is No-Eul. The colleague tells No-Eul that the family is very poor. Na-Yeon has blood cancer. Kyung-Suk earns medical fee through drawing for people. No-Eul is touched. Because she has a daughter in North Korea.
Meanwhile, Gi-Hun goes to the fish store. He finds out that his childhood friend’s mother and No-Eul’s younger brother live well. He feels relieved. He visits the broker and he wants to help No-Eul’s mother come to South Korea. He misses No-Eul before he leaves.
No-Eul wants to find her daughter. But the broker refuses to accept the money. He tried his best but he didn’t get any message. The little girl was left in North Korea. He’s not sure if the little girl is alive. He persuades No-Eul to forget the kid. But the daughter is the only thing keeping No-Eul alive. She doesn’t want to give up.
No-Eul takes a look at her family photo in the evening. Someone hands over a Squid Game card to her from the window. The next day, the dolls march again. Na-Yeon is happy to look at the rabbit doll. But the rabbit doll ignores her. It’s another employee under the rabbit doll. Because No-Eul resigned.
Kyung-Suk is drawing for the client. He sees an ambulance. His daughter is carried into the ambulance. He follows the ambulance and he arrives at the hospital. No-Eul picks up the hat the kid dropped. She goes to the hospital. The doctor completes the checkup for the kid.
Na-Yeon is in serious condition. The doctor has a potent medicine. But the medicine is very expensive. No-Eul catches the chance to sneak into Na-Yeon’s ward. She holds her little hand. Kyung-Suk returns the ward. He sees the red hat on the bed.
Gi-Hun visits a doctor. He asks him to install a locator in his tooth. Woo-Seok hires a lot of helpers. He takes them to the range in the hotel for practicing shooting. They prepare for the action tomorrow. Gi-Hun plans to get into the club with Woo-Seok. The rest wait outside for the signal. He disallows anyone to take action before he sends out the signal.
Gi-Hun has a feeling that his journey is very dangerous. He calls his daughter but he doesn’t say anything. He only wants to listen to his daughter’s voice. Meanwhile, No-Eul calls the number. She decides to take part in the game. The guy asks her to wait for the car at the parking lot. No-Eul burns the card and the drawing.
There’re a lot of people in the club. They wear bizarre clothes. It makes the clothes of the soldiers not obvious. Gi-Hun takes Woo-Seok to get into the club. Jun-Ho watches the location information of Gi-Hun in the car. He sees two soldiers getting into the club. He sends the message to Gi-Hun. He breaks into the club later.
A soldier shows up in front of Gi-Hun. He asks him to leave with him. Gi-Hun follows the soldier. But another soldier stuns Woo-Seok. Jun-Ho finds Woo-Seok. He notes that Gi-Hun is leaving the club. Gi-Hun is taken into the car.
Jun-Ho asks the helpers to chase the white car. Gi-Hun has a talk with the Mysterious Man behind the pig head. The guy asks Gi-Hun why he looked for him. Gi-Hun replies to Mysterious Man that he wants to stop the game. The beautiful words cannot turn the dirty things they did into charity.
But Mysterious Man tells Gi-Hun that those people were just trashes in the society. He thinks they did nothing to clean up the trashes. The world won’t be changed and the game won’t be over. Meanwhile, the car of the supporters is tailing them.
Jun-Ho orders to take action in a less crowded area. But he finds out that the white car is circling. He gives an order to stop the car. But Sniper shoots the tire of Jun-Ho’s car. It stops Jun-Ho and the helpers’ cars. Gi-Hun volunteers to take part in the game. Mysterious Man thinks Gi-Hun wants to be a hero.

He believes that it will be fun to witness Gi-Hun’s beliefs being shattered. He agrees to it. Gi-Hun will return to the game when the white smoke sprays out. Jun-Ho decides to use plan B after he overheard it. Meanwhile, there’re three trucks at the parking lot.

The episode ends with No-Eul getting in the truck. He walks into number 11 booth. She begins to wear the clothes of soldier. The three trucks leave the parking lot. Jun-Ho summons his men. He plans to go to the island to look for Gi-Hun.
