The sister shows off the love letter she received to her two brothers in Family by Choice: Episode 3. The second brother has fun with the sister. But the elder brother’s smiling is frozen. He’s jealous of someone who coveted the girl he likes.
Dong-Gu visits Hae-Joon. It disrupts Hae-Joon’s peaceful life. The man claims that Hae-Joon’s mother didn’t inform him when she was pregnant. So he didn’t know Hae-Joon in the past 19 years. Hae-Joon has many questions. But his father leaves after he got a call from someone. He gave him a business card and he asked him to contact him.
Hae-Joon gets a lot on his mind when he’s on the way home. A person he never expected broke into his world. He passes by the noodles restaurant. He hesitates if he needs to tell it to Jung-Jae. Madam shows up before Hae-Joon leaks.
It breaks Hae-Joon’s courage. He’s distracted at the dinner table. The carefree Joo-Won doesn’t find out the changing. San-Ha notes that Hae-Joon acted weird. He finds him on the rooftop after the dinner. He asks him to confess.
Hae-Joon leaks that his father showed up. He confesses his feelings as well. He was very happy that his father visited him. But he thought he let Jung-Jae down. He was in pain because of the two different thoughts. San-Ha understands Hae-Joon’s feelings. But he thinks the man came with a goal. He tells Hae-Joon that the man plans to take away his organ.
Hae-Joon isn’t happy. He thinks his father just wanted to find his son. San-Ha suggests Hae-Joon to go to see his aunt. He thinks his aunt knows the guy’s character. The two brothers find the aunt soon. Hae-Joon takes out the business card. He asks his aunt if she knows the guy.
Aunt’s smiling is frozen. She threatens Hae-Joon that she won’t see him if he meets with the guy. He asks her for the reason. She tells him the truth. Hae-Joon’s mother was pregnant. But the man didn’t want to take the duty. He gave up his wife and his son. He married a rich girl.
Aunt tells Hae-Joon that it was a lie that Dong-Gu didn’t know his mother was pregnant. Hae-Joon knows the truth. He gets angry and he tries to tear up the business card. San-Ha stops Hae-Joon. He thinks they should take action for preventing the person from disturbing them.
The two go to the luxury hotel Dong-Gu lives. Hae-Joon exposes that Dong-Gu told a lie. He questions him for his goal. Dong-Gu doesn’t conceal. He reveals his family is interested in his money because he doesn’t have a kid. He wishes Hae-Joon to keep his money with the name of heir.
He plans to take Hae-Joon to the United States. Hae-Joon thought Dong-Gu visited him because of love. He cannot accept the result. He rejects Dong-Gu. He claims that he won’t go to the United States because he has family and father there.
Hae-Joon tries to leave. But San-Ha stops Hae-Joon. He hints at him that they need to pay for their drinks. The two brothers put the cash on the table. They tell Dong-Gu that they don’t need a profit-seeking father even if they’re broke.
San-Ha accompanies Hae-Joon on the beach. Hae-Joon asks San-Ha not to tell it to Jung-Jae and Joo-Won. But Joo-Won tells them that there was a weird customer visiting the noodles restaurant after they returned home. Hae-Joon rushes to the noodles restaurant after Joo-Won described the guy’s looks. San-Ha follows Hae-Joon.
But Dong-Gu left. Dong-Gu visited Jung-Jae since his son didn’t want to leave with him. He gave him a check and he claimed that he wants to take away Hae-Joon. He thought he can decide Hae-Joon’s leaving as a guardian because Hae-Joon is still a student. Jung-Jae claimed that he’s Hae-Joon’s guardian. He didn’t wish Hae-Joon to leave. Dong-Gu got rejected. He had to leave.
Dong-Gu returns to the hotel. He bumps Jung-Hee and So-Hee by mistake. He doesn’t apologize because he’s not happy. Jung-Hee lets it go after she complained. So-Hee asks her mother when she will see her brother. Jung-Hee comforts So-Hee that she will see her brother soon.
Hae-Joon is shocked after knowing Jung-Jae has known that he has a father. He doesn’t know what to do. San-Ha takes away the curious Joo-Won. It leaves the talk space to Hae-Joon and Jung-Jae. Jung-Jae comforts Hae-Joon that it wasn’t his mistake. He understands Dong-Gu’s feelings that he wants to recognize Hae-Joon.
He wishes Hae-Joon not to leave with the guy. He thinks he can cook and iron school uniforms for Hae-Joon because Hae-Joon is still a student. Hae-Joon tears up. He apologizes to Jung-Jae for not telling him about his real father’s appearing.
He reveals he worried that Jung-Jae would drive him away. Jung-Jae hugs Hae-Joon. They learn that they don’t want to leave each other. San-Ha tells the truth to Joo-Won. She doesn’t wish Hae-Joon to leave as well. Hae-Joon hears Joo-Won’s words. He asks her to hug him.
Joo-Won continues to receive love letters for San-Ha and Hae-Joon. She’s numb to put the love letters into her schoolbag. Park Dal finds out that one of the love letters is for Joo-Won. Joo-Won is very happy after she realized that there was a guy writing love letter for her.
She takes Park Dal to the playground. She opens the love letter and she finds out that someone loves her deeply. She thinks she got the capital to show off in front of her two brothers. She plans to show it off to San-Ha first when they’re on the way home. But she forgets where she put the love letter.
San-Ha thinks Joo-Won told a lie. He persuades her to focus on her study. She doesn’t like his words. She sticks her head out the window. She shouts in displeasure that San-Ha is the best. He pulls her head back and he helps her have a seat.
He has palpitations and he remembers his sister was carried away by ambulance when he was a kid. He tries his best to control himself so that he doesn’t tremble too much.
Joo-Won wants to find out who wrote the love letter to her. She takes Park Dal to stand in the hallway to look for the suspect. The guy complains that Joo-Won always drinks strawberry flavored milk. Joo-Won thinks the guy was the one who wrote love letter to her. But she hears what he said that he couldn’t drink strawberry flavored milk because of her. She learns that she got a wrong target.

Joo-Won knows Park Dal has feelings for Hae-Joon. So she invites Park Dal to her house. But San-Ha and Hae-Joon aren’t at home. Joo-Won takes Park Dal to Hae-Joon’s room for letting her best friend know Hae-Joon. She sees the messy clothes. She puts it into the cover. She explains it to Park Dal that Hae-Joon wasn’t so.

Joo-Won shows off her love letter to San-Ha and Hae-Joon. She tells the two that she’s going to be in love. Hae-Joon chases Joo-Won. He tries to read the love letter. San-Ha grabs the letter. He’s not happy after he saw Joo-Won’s thrill.
