This is the recap for Love Game in Eastern Fantasy: Episode 1. The girl Miao Miao wakes up in the morning. She tells us that she likes Saturday because she can stay at home all day. She looks at the goldfish who swims in the bottle.
How Does Ling Miaomiao Get into the Book’s World?
Miao Miao tells us that she’s excited because the writer Fu Zhou is going to release a new book. We learn that the girl is Ling Miaomiao. She’s an employee girl. She’s brushing her teeth in the bathroom when she listens to Fu Zhou’s new works “Catching Monsters”.
We learn that the immortal Mu Qingshi killed the evil monster queen Yuan Nv 900 years ago. But Yuan Nv came back to kill his family. The ringing interrupts the story. Ling Miaomiao’s boss President Tao calls Ling Miaomiao. He asks her to gather everyone to the company for the meeting. She tries to hint at him that it’s Saturday. But he’s rude to hang up. Poor girl.
Ling Miaomiao continues to listen to the story on the bus. We learn that the lord Lin Lushan invited the descendants of Mu family to help them because there were grooms killed by monsters at wedding night in Taicang County.
The story is interrupted by the little girl. The little girl stains Ling Miaomiao’s clothes when the bus bumps. President Tao throws a fit in the meeting. He emphasizes that the proposal is very important. Ling Miaomiao isn’t affected by his anger. She continues to enjoy the story.
We learns that the second female lead Lin Yu tangled the hero Liu Fuyi. Liu Fuyi accepted the girl for protecting the first female lead Mu Yao. But Lin Yu planned to get rid of Mu Yao for getting Liu Fuyi.
President Tao drags Ling Miaomiao to the reality. He asks her to hand over her proposal on Monday. She claims that she doesn’t have any problem. She returns home after her boss ruined her Saturday. She burns incense for his dead father. She complains it to her father.
Ling Miaomiao sits in front of the computer. She thinks she cannot complete the task within the week. She’s happy after she told herself to avoid it. Liu Fuyi admits to Mu Yao that he was close to her for getting the Monsters Painting.
Ling Miaomiao thinks there will be a twist. Mu Yao stands in front of Lin Yu’s memorial tablet. She cries to ask Lin Yu why she wanted to poison her. Mu Sheng points out that the one Lin Yu wanted to marry was Liu Fuyi. Mu Yao realizes that the two are demons. She fights with them.
Ling Miaomiao doesn’t like the plot. She tells the writer Fu Zhou that he let her down. She posts a comment and she attacks Fu Zhou. But she’s drawn into the novel’s world.
Ling Miaomiao becomes a player. She flees when she’s chased by the big boss. She falls into a room in the end. We find that it’s a wedding room. The maid shows up. Ling Miaomiao and the maid are startled by each other. The maid Xiao Wan persuades Ling Miaomiao to wear the wedding dress.
What is Ling Miaomiao’s First Task?
Ling Miaomiao questions Xiao Wan why she wears a costume. Xiao Wan tells her name to Ling Miaomiao. Ling Miaomiao realizes that the the girl is the maid of the second female lead. She learns that she got into the novel’s world. She asks Xiao Wan who she is.
Xiao Wan is scared after she thought Ling Miaomiao was possessed by a monster. She tries to flee. But the time is stopped. So she cannot move. Ling Miaomiao looks at herself in the mirror. She finds out that she wears a costume as well. The system tells Ling Miaomiao that she’s Lin Yu. She adds that Ling Miaomiao can only go back to the real world after she passes the game.
Ling Miaomiao learns that she needs to complete the main task which is killing the big boss Yuan Nv. She also needs to complete a hidden task. Ling Miaomiao asks the system about the hidden task. The system tells Ling Miaomiao that she will leak it after she completes the rookie teaching task. She adds that the rookie teaching task is to marry Liu Fuyi.
Ling Miaomiao refuses to play the game. She’s scared to run out of the wedding house. But she’s hit by the lightning. She passes away. She gets a bad ending.
The time turns back. Ling Miaomiao resurrects. She learns that she cannot do the next plot if she doesn’t get married. She takes over the wedding dress from Xiao Wan. Liu Fuyi walks into the wedding room after Ling Miaomiao got changed.
Does Mirror Monster Hurt Mu Yao?
She finds out that he’s very handsome. She’s very happy. He tells her that they need to drink wedding wine together so that the monsters won’t suspect them. The monster shows up behind Ling Miaomiao when Ling Miaomiao is drinking with Liu Fuyi.
Liu Fuyi pretends to be manipulated by the monster. He catches the chance to attack the monster. The monster flees. Ling Miaomiao completes the rookie task. But she remembers Lin Yu tore up Liu Fuyi’s talisman according to the plot.
She informs Liu Fuyi that Mu Yao is in danger. But he thinks Mirror Monster cannot hurt Mu Yao because he posted the talisman on the door of Mu Yao’s house. He doesn’t know Lin Yu tore up the talisman. Ling Miaomiao forces Liu Fuyi to go to save Mu Yao.
Mu Yao falls asleep in her room. Mirror Monster sneaks into Mu Yao’s room. She tries to hurt Mu Yao. But Mu Yao prepared for Mirror Monster’s coming. She whips Mirror Monster. Liu Fuyi breaks into the room when Mu Yao fights with Mirror Monster. Mirror Monster flees because she knows she’s not the two’s rival.
Why Did Mirror Monster Kill the Grooms?
Ling Miaomiao breaks into the room when she worries about Mu Yao. But Mu Yao tells Ling Miaomiao that the monster is still in the room. Mirror Monster drags Ling Miaomiao, Liu Muyi and Mu Yao into her mirror world. Ling Miaomiao tells Liu Fuyi and Mu Yao that they need to find the mirror Mirror Monster hides and break it.
Liu Fuyi breaks the mirror with his sword. He finds Ling Miaomiao. But she’s kidnapped by Mirror Monster. Mu Yao asks Mirror Monster to release Ling Miaomiao because Ling Miaomiao is just an ordinary person. She asks her why she killed the brides on the wedding night.
Mirror Monster thinks the grooms deserved the death because they were bad guys. She mentions the brides were like her master who gave up her everything for the bad guy. Mirror Monster forces Liu Fuyi and Mu Yao to drop their weapons. She defeats them.
Who Defeats Mirror Monster?
The guy breaks into the mirror world. He flies like a shooting star. He lands the ground and he walks to Mirror Monster. He takes out his blade. Mu Yao persuades the guy A Sheng not to do that. Ling Miaomiao learns that the guy is the black lotus Mu Sheng. Mirror Monster threatens Mu Sheng with Ling Miaomiao’s life. Mu Sheng doesn’t care for it. He cuts Mirror Monster with his blade.
Is Mirror Monster Alive?
The group comes back from the mirror world. Mu Sheng tries to kill Mirror Monster. Liu Fuyi persuades Mu Sheng to lock the monster into the tower because he thinks the monster is good. But Mu Sheng doesn’t intend to forgive Mirror Monster because she hurt his older sister Mu Yao.
Mu Yao coughs. Mu Sheng goes to care for her. Liu Fuyi catches the chance to draw Mirror Monster into his tower. Mu Sheng notes that Ling Miaomiao is taking Mu Yao’s arm. He pushes Ling Miaomiao away. She learns that he’s her official husband.
Does Mu Sheng Suspect Ling Miaomiao?
We learn that Mu Sheng didn’t like Lin Yu. He tortured her after he married her. He poisoned her with the love poison.
Ling Miaomiao is scared when she thinks about the role Mu Sheng. She decides to stay away from the guy. Mu Sheng glares at Ling Miaomiao before he leaves with Mu Yao. Liu Fuyi asks Ling Miaomiao why she came up with the idea. She cannot tell him that she read the spoilers. She claims that she did it because her sharp judgement.
He praises her and he thinks he couldn’t save Mu Yao if she didn’t hint at him. She thinks he doesn’t have to be polite to her. But she sees Mu Sheng after she turned around. She’s startled.
The people are in the room. Mu Yao heals herself with her immortal power. Mu Sheng asks Mu Yao if it hurts. She tells him that she’s fine. He claims that he’s hurt. She tells him to go to use medicine. He complains it to her that she would be killed if he didn’t show up.
He mentions he told Liu Fuyi not to leave Mu Yao alone. But Mu Yao thinks Liu Fuyi wanted to catch the monster fast. Mu Sheng blames Liu Fuyi for finding a woman to get married when Mu Yao was in danger. Liu Fuyi thinks he made a mistake. But Mu Yao blames Mu Sheng.
Ling Miaomiao likes the plot even if the plot is dog blood. She tears up when Liu Fuyi mentions he wouldn’t come to save Mu Yao if Ling Miaomiao didn’t remind him. Mu Sheng begins to suspect Ling Miaomiao after he noted that she cried.
Ling Miaomiao explains it to Mu Sheng that she was moved after she witnessed Liu Fuyi and Mu Yao protected each other. But he thinks Liu Fuyi isn’t match for Mu Yao. She remembers he hated Liu Fuyi because Liu Fuyi was close to Mu Yao. She realizes that she said something wrong.
Mu Sheng asks Ling Miaomiao if she’s jealous of Mu Yao. She tries to leave. He stops her because he thinks he should thank her for reminding Liu Fuyi to protect Mu Yao. But he questions her why she knew Mu Yao was in danger. She cries when she claims that she didn’t know it.
He grabs her chin. She trembles. She reminds him that girls and boys shouldn’t be close. He makes an excuse that he helped her wipe off her lipstick. He leaves.
Is Ling Miaomiao Reunited with her Father?
Ling Miaomiao wakes up in the morning. She thinks about the worldview of the book. She remembers Mu Yao and Mu Sheng left home after their family was ruined. They encountered Liu Fuyi and Lin Yu then. Xiao Wan hurts Ling Miaomiao’s hair when she combs her hair.
Xiao Wan is scared to ask Ling Miaomiao for her mercy. Ling Miaomiao lets Xiao Wan get up because she knows it wasn’t Xiao Wan’s mistake. Xiao Wan shows Ling Miaomiao the pearl hairpin. The maids bring the swallow’s nest to Ling Miaomiao.
Xiao Wan persuades Ling Miaomiao to drink it up because they need to go to pick up the master. Ling Miaomiao remembers Lin Yu’s father is a corrupt official. She gets the reason why Lin Yu was selfish.
Ling Miaomiao goes to the dock to pick up Lin Yu’s father. She doesn’t know Lin Yu’s father. Xiao Wan helps Ling Miaomiao recognize the man. Ling Miaomiao finds out that the man is his father who passed away from a car accident. Lin Lushan sees Ling Miaomiao. He’s happy to wave at her.
But a carriage rushes to Lin Lushan. Lin Lushan steps back. He avoids the danger. Ling Miaomiao rushes to her father. She cries when she hugs him.
