This is the recap for Fangs of Fortune: Episode 1. The girl goes to the noodles restaurant to eat noodles. She shows the bottle to another girl. She asks her if it’s salt or sugar. The girl replies that it’s salt. The big monster Zhu Yan visits Arrest Monster Department. He asks the guard to inform Officer Zhuo that he came.
The girl is a female officer. She drugs the monster. The monster passes out. The officer Zhuo Yichen tries to kill Zhu Yan. But another officer stops him after he received a letter. We learn that the female officer is named Wen Xiao.
Wen Xiao arrests the monster. But the guy of Chongwu Camp asks her to hand over the monster to him. She asks him to forgive the monster because the monster is just a con artist. He mentions Zhu Yi who killed many people. He asks her if she will ask mercy for Zhu Yan.
Zhuo Yichen points his sword at Zhu Yan. He wants to kill him. But Zhu Yan threatens Zhuo Yichen with the lives of his colleagues. Wen Xiao releases the monster. She tells her to flee. But the monster is shot by the bodyguard of Chongwu Camp. The monster passes away. Wen Xiao feels guilty.
Zhuo Yichen puts away his word. He feels painful. He swears to kill Zhu Yan one day. Zhu Yan uses Zhuo Yichen’s sword to stab himself. He tells Zhuo Yichen that he cannot kill him. He volunteers to turn himself in. But Zhuo Yichen isn’t satisfied with it.
Zhu Yan is sent to the cell. Wen Xiao returns to Arrest Monster Department. She’s told that Zhu Yan came. Zhu Yan sees Wen Xiao with his eyes. He tells Zhuo Yichen that he wants to help them for dealing with Chongwu Camp. But Zhuo Yichen rejects Zhu Yan’s help because Zhu Yan killed his family. Zhu Yan agrees to help Arrest Monster Department. But he asks the chief Fan Ying’s daughter Wen Xiao to work with him.
Wen Xiao is close to the dungeon. But she’s blocked by the guard. The guard reveals it’s Zhu Yichen’s order. Zhuo Yichen gets angry after knowing Zhu Yan wants to get Wen Xiao. But he cannot do nothing. Zhu Yan leaves the cell. He locks Zhu Yichen in the cell.
Zhu Yan walks out of the dungeon. He walks to Wen Xiao with the flowers. He asks her if she likes it. She remembers the masked man gave same flowers to her after her master was killed on the beach. Wen Xiao pretends to have feelings for Zhu Yan when he hugs her.
Zhuo Yichen shows up. He asks Zhu Yan to release Wen Xiao. But Wen Xiao is kidnapping the big monster with her knife. She cuts his neck with her knife. He passes out because she put the drug on her knife. She asks Zhuo Yichen to send the monster to the cell.
But she’s told that the cell cannot trap Zhu Yan. So she orders Zhuo Yichen to keep stabbing Zhu Yan with the knife. Zhu Yan is scared. He returns to the cell on his own. Wen Xiao was hurt when she fought with the men of Chongwu Camp. She gets the monster list from her follower.
We go to Chongwu Camp. The chief who’s a masked man. He uses the dead’s blood to paint. He’s very happy after knowing Zhu Yan showed up. Wen Xiao reads the monster manual. She learns that the lie monster was sincere when the life monster thanked her.
A beauty is sleeping in her room. She receives a marriage contract. She walks out of her room. She screams. Wen Xiao wakes up from the nightmare. Her nose is bleeding.
